That Day When Suzuki-kun Wasn't the Mob-B!

”What time is it?” Suzuki wondered aloud.

He was technically an Enlightened now, a Sage. But even with his new status, he knew his internal energy reserves were far outmatched by Treyni. His power came entirely from within, whereas Treyni, as a Dryad, possessed an immense reservoir of magicules and could infinitely draw raw energy directly from the earth.

Fortunately, as the devoted guardian of the forest, she would never do anything to harm the ecosystem. So, naturally, it was impossible for her to aggressively suck the earth dry of its nutrients just to endlessly conquer him on the grassy forest floor... right?

Man, it would be really great if I could just use the Penthouse skill right about now...

Suzuki thought inwardly as he lay sprawled on the lush, damp grass of the forest. Thanks to [Self-Made], his physical body had already adapted to the discomfort of sleeping outdoors, but it still wasn’t ideal. If there was a way for him to access proper, modern comfort, his life would be perfect.

[Notice. The user’s profound desire has been detected. Initiating the Unique Skill [Self-Made] to forcefully adjust the user’s biological foundation. The system will now permit the user to access the skills, abilities, and classes natively bound to the ’Arifureta’ Suzuki.]

”...” Suzuki blinked.

⟪ Notice. Authorized host wishes to gain a physical vessel capable of integrating cross-dimensional abilities from ’Arifureta’ Suzuki. ⟫

⟪ Unique Skill [Self-Made] and Unique Skill [Manager] engaged. ⟫

⟪ Initiating the body’s forced evolution to adapt to cross-universal logic. ⟫

⟪ Executing Evolution. ⟫

⟪ Processing... Successful. ⟫

”...”

Suzuki blinked again, staring up at the canopy. He asked internally, Can I actually use his abilities now?

[Affirmative. Due to the extreme biological adaptation granted by Unique Skill [Self-Made], it is now possible for the user to safely manifest and utilize the abilities of Tanaka Suzuki from the world of Tortus.]

”...”

Suzuki didn’t hesitate. He immediately tried to activate his alternate self’s most beloved skill. As expected, the glowing interface for [Online Shopping] flickered to life in his mind. But—

”...I don’t have any money.”

It was a devastating realization, but it didn’t overshadow the profound utility he had just discovered. He now knew exactly what made him special compared to the other Suzukis. His Unique Skill, [Self-Made], wasn’t just a survival tool; it was the ultimate evolutionary catalyst. By using it, he could forcefully adapt, evolve, gain immunity to specific disadvantages, and even rewrite his biology to access the powers of his multiverse counterparts.

It was staggeringly impressive. In simple terms: as long as he didn’t die instantly, his body would continuously adapt and evolve until he gained the precise power needed to defeat whatever threat he faced.

”So this is why I evolved into a Sage so easily.”

Thinking about it, he didn’t feel quite so conflicted anymore. Earlier, he had genuinely wondered if doing ”snu-snu” was the only way for him to trigger an evolution.

Evolution.

If Suzuki had to pinpoint the defining feature of the Tensura world, it was the concept of forced, systemic evolution. In his original world, creatures didn’t just magically morph into stronger species. Yet here, a mindless slime—the absolute weakest monster on the hierarchy—could systematically evolve into a Demon Slime, an entity whose power rivaled the legendary True Dragons.

By that logic, couldn’t he, a human, eventually evolve into a Divine Human? A being of such monstrous, transcendent power that they could stand on equal footing with gods and True Dragons?

Was that an exaggeration? Not at all. The very fact that Veldora, a True Dragon with catastrophic, world-ending power, was currently sealed in a cave proved that the potential of an ultimate human was not to be underestimated. If a slime could reach the apex, why couldn’t he do the same?

The potential was limitless. Yet, he still felt a slight, lingering sense of absurdity regarding how he had achieved his first evolution. He had practically ascended to Sagehood by spending the night intimately wrestling with Treyni.

If I somehow manage to do snu-snu with a Demon Lord, will I instantly evolve into a Saint?

”...”

Regardless of the ridiculous methodology, Suzuki was profoundly glad he was human. Being a monster—no matter how powerful—just didn’t appeal to him. Especially if he ran the risk of evolving into something that lacked a lower body! This world was culturally and technologically backward; as far as he was concerned, the only genuine entertainment to be had was physical intimacy.

And he had to admit, he absolutely loved holding Treyni. Her body was impossibly soft, her natural scent was intoxicating, and she tasted incredibly sweet, like pure, concentrated flower nectar~!

Just the memory of her overwhelming, gushing sweetness as he drove deep inside her was enough to make his heart race.

”...Pervert,” Treyni murmured softly, resting her chin on his chest.

”If I am one, it’s entirely your fault.”

Suzuki sighed happily, stroking her moss-green hair. He was deeply thankful for [Self-Made]. If he didn’t have the skill, his arm would be entirely dead right now. Single men often romanticized the idea of having their lovers fall asleep on their arms or chests. The reality was that prolonged pressure usually led to agonizing numbness and the desperate urge to amputate the limb.

Yet, thanks to his skill, his body had instantly adapted to the pressure, optimizing his blood flow so he could perfectly execute the romantic act.

Treyni smiled sweetly, her eyes crinkling. ”But you’re still a pervert~!”

”...You’re not wrong.”

How could he deny it? He had literally just dropped into this world for the first time, and within hours, he had seduced a Dryad, taught her forbidden earthly pleasures, and thoroughly tarnished the pristine Guardian of the Forest with his lust. He was undeniably a pervert.

”But I don’t regret it.”

Suzuki pulled her closer, kissing her forehead. ”Just meeting you makes getting dragged into this crazy world entirely worth it.”

”Suzuki...”

”Or maybe the world specifically sent me here just to meet you?”

While he smoothly delivered the romantic line, Suzuki inwardly wondered how he had actually ended up here. Usually, transmigrators were summoned via magic rituals or reincarnated after a tragic death. But he had just... fallen.

He recalled the backstory of Hinata Sakaguchi, who had been violently whisked away to this world by a random, mysterious ”strong gale.” It made him wonder if he had been the victim of a similar dimensional anomaly.

In his previous life, he only wanted to live comfortably, trying to safely enjoy the life he had fought so hard to secure. Being ripped away from it was infuriating. But looking down at Treyni, he had to admit... it wasn’t a total loss.

Treyni giggled, burying her blushing face against his chest. ”Are all humans from your world this good at sweet-talking?”

”Of course not. You’re the only one I speak to like this. No one else.”

”But, you know... if you want to try it with someone else, I don’t really mind. My younger sisters are incredibly curious about what we were doing.”

”...Exactly how many sisters do you have?”

”Um... roughly this many...” she said, holding up her fingers.

”...”

Upon doing the math, Suzuki genuinely feared he might be forced to evolve into a Saint by tomorrow morning.

”Still, is it really safe for you to stay here?” Treyni asked, her tone shifting to genuine concern.

”What’s wrong? Are there more monsters nearby?” Suzuki asked, slightly confused.

”No, it’s not the monsters.” Treyni’s expression filled with distress. ”When you forced your evolution earlier, it wasn’t quiet. It seems many of the powerful figures in this world noticed the energy spike. And... some of them might try to hunt you down...”

”...”

Had he really become a global target for elimination just because he slept with a Dryad?

[Affirmative. The evolution of the host triggered a massive magicule anomaly. It was noticed by multiple apex entities. The Western Holy Church has flagged you as a heretical pagan. Various Demon Lords view you as an uncontrollable variable. Crusader execution squads are currently tracking your location.]

”...”

”...I’m so sorry,” Suzuki sighed heavily.

”Why are you apologizing?” Treyni asked, tilting her head.

”It seems I’ve brought a massive amount of trouble to your forest.” Suzuki felt genuinely guilty. He had put Treyni in the crosshairs of the world’s most dangerous factions.

Treyni just laughed, a bright, musical sound. ”You should be worried about yourself, silly! I am a Dryad. If they try to hunt me down, they should be far more worried about me turning their farmlands to ash and causing nationwide famines!”

”...”

As expected. Plant-based lifeforms might look beautiful and harmless, but they were absolutely terrifying when threatened.

”But what about you? Will you be okay?” Treyni asked anxiously. She knew Suzuki couldn’t safely return to human society now. He would have to live in the Jura Forest—which, honestly, she didn’t mind at all~!

”...”

[Report. It is highly advisable for the host to initiate stealth protocols immediately.]

Is that possible?

[Initiating Stealth Mode.]

In that instant, the [Manager] took over, perfectly synchronizing both of his Unique Skills: [Self-Made] and [Etymologist].

First, [Self-Made] granted him absolute, autonomous control over his biology. Utilizing the Manager to automate the process, he forcefully slammed all his ”magicule pores” completely shut, preventing even a single, microscopic drop of his Enlightened aura from leaking into the atmosphere.

Physically, he was completely invisible to magical sensing. He appeared to be nothing more than an average, powerless human. But the system knew that wasn’t enough. An unexplained ”blank spot” on a radar was just as suspicious as a blazing flare.

So, the Manager utilized the Semantic Camouflage function of his [Etymologist] skill. He didn’t just turn invisible; he systematically rewrote how the world’s logic perceived him. He cast a localized semantic field around his body, altering his conceptual definition:

[Define: ”Average Human Merchant”]

”Huh? Where did he go?”

Now, when the Church’s magical radar or a Demon Lord’s [Magic Sense] swept over the forest, the very ”syntax” of the world fed them false data. They wouldn’t see an anomaly. They would just see a perfectly normal, entirely unremarkable human merchant who had gotten lost in the woods.

[Report. The host is completely hidden from hostile detection.]

So, I’m only hidden from the ones causing trouble?

”Are you okay?” Treyni asked, snapping him out of his thoughts.

Suzuki looked down at her and smiled. ”Yeah. I should be perfectly fine now.”

Yes, for now... he was okay.

Frankly, while my Chapters might not be perfect since sometimes, I can’t just have any energy or spirits to write, I do my best. Also, often one Chapter is 1,700 words or more, which is a lot, since I don’t feel the Chapter is good enough with a few words.

But, regardless, please enjoy.

His life in the world of Tensura will be like Ishuzoku Reviewers if you have ever watched the anime or read the manga, but to the normal people’s taste, since in many cases, some monsters... aren’t just good to be held.

Yeah, I can’t accept furry, sorry.
