That Day When Suzuki-kun Wasn't the Mob-B!

”I see...”

”That’s amazing...”

”I never thought I would actually get an ability like this.”

While the three new Suzukis reacted with a mix of awe, relief, and joyous laughter, the veteran Suzukis—from Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen, Solo Leveling, and Arifureta—weren’t surprised by their reactions in the slightest. It was the perfectly normal response for guys like them. They knew full well that, possessing only slightly above-average talent, they had to put in exponentially more effort than anyone else just to survive!

Unlike standard protagonists who were miraculously saved by plot armor, sudden hidden power awakenings, or dormant ancestral bloodlines, the Suzukis had none of those cheats.

They weren’t born geniuses. They were just... decent. Even if they pushed themselves to their absolute limits, the highest they could probably rank in their respective worlds was the top 100.

While that might sound impressive to a layman, in their minds, it meant there were at least ninety-nine beings in their universe perfectly capable of killing them.

Because they weren’t the strongest, their lives were inherently unstable. Readers might think they were overthinking it, over-preparing for threats that hadn’t happened yet. But in their brutal worlds, sometimes ”enough” just wasn’t enough. Unless they reached a definitive, overwhelming plateau of power, true safety was an illusion. If everyone acted purely on logic and morality, the world would be fine. Unfortunately, most people acted on raw emotion, greed, or the desires of their lower halves, leading to endless, deadly complications.

”Did you acquire it?” one of the new Suzukis asked eagerly.

”Yeah,” Suzuki of Arifureta nodded. ”Can you guys use my magic and skills now?”

The conceptual data for Creation Magic, along with all the other hoarded skills and jobs from the Tortus labyrinth, had been successfully uploaded to the [Manager]. The knowledge was ready and fully accessible to the network, but the execution was a different matter.

[Notice. There may be discrepancies. Each universe operates on fundamentally different physical and magical laws. Based on those distinct rules, systemic adjustments must be made.]

”But it can be done, right?”

[Affirmative.]

”...”

A collective sigh of relief echoed through the White Space. Hearing that single robotic confirmation basically guaranteed their survival.

[However, the output may not reach optimal satisfaction. Each user possesses vastly different biological and physical traits.]

They were all the same soul, the same ”Suzuki,” yet they inhabited different realities. Their experiences, physical vessels, and environmental mana densities varied wildly. Even if they gained perfect, conceptual knowledge of Creation Magic and Tortus job skills, it didn’t mean their bodies could handle the output.

Unlike the Arifureta Suzuki, who could execute those skills at 120% efficiency, the others might only scrape by at 10% potential—especially the ones originating from mundane, magic-less worlds.

”Wait, is there someone among us from a completely normal world?”

”Er... that would be me,” the 5th Suzuki raised his hand sheepishly.

”Are you sure?”

Everyone stared at the 5th Suzuki for a moment. Despite living a mundane life now, they remembered that the 4th Suzuki (Arifureta) had also just been an average university senior before being forcefully isekai’d. There was always a chance the 5th Suzuki’s world could suddenly experience an awakening or a summoning event.

”...” The 5th Suzuki paled slightly. ”God, I hope not. I’ll just rely on the Manager’s quality-of-life updates. That’s good enough for me.”

”Fair enough.”

Honestly, having the [Manager] in a modern, normal world was ridiculously overpowered. As long as he had an internet connection, his life would be flawlessly smooth.

Even if one of them had somehow spawned in a brutal historical era—like the Viking age, medieval Europe, or the Sengoku period—they would still thrive. Why the confidence? Because the 4th Suzuki was currently thriving in Tortus, a medieval death-world. More importantly, unlike the Arifureta Suzuki whose ultimate enemy was a literal God, a historical Suzuki would only be fighting regular humans.

”But still,” one of the variants muttered. ”Is there really no way for us to passively increase our raw strength? Relying solely on knowledge is great, but...”

”Knowledge is power. Don’t be greedy,” another scolded.

”Well... I kind of want to be like Arifureta Suzuki! The guy basically has an Ambrosia-infused body! Who wouldn’t want that?”

”...”

Silence fell over the group. Though they didn’t want to say it out loud, they were all incredibly jealous. Arifureta Suzuki had effectively absorbed the conceptual traits of Ambrosia, granting himself boundless stamina and flawless health. He would never get sick, never tire, and always remain in peak condition.

[Notice. It is detected that while users cannot directly manifest each other’s native power systems, it is possible for a highly-leveled user to passively affect the physical vessels of the others.]

”W-Wait, really?”

[Affirmative.]

”...”

In gaming terms, it was exactly like power leveling. It was the classic MMORPG mechanic where low-level party members safely soak up massive amounts of EXP just by being in the same party as a max-level player who is absolutely decimating the map.

That was exactly what was happening to their shared soul network.

If the Arifureta Suzuki grew powerful enough to fight Ehit, the God of Tortus, the other Suzukis wouldn’t magically gain the ability to slay gods themselves. However, even if they passively absorbed just 1% of that divine-tier capacity, it would perfectly optimize their physical vessels, granting them brimming health and superhuman stamina!

Guided by the [Manager], their bodies would be slowly perfected and safely pushed to the absolute limits allowed by their respective universes.

Naruto, JJK, Solo Leveling, Arifureta, and the three new variants—none of them were the absolute strongest in their worlds yet, and frankly, they had no desire to be the flashy, world-saving heroes. But they were rapidly becoming ”singularities” in their own right, quietly securing the absolute power needed to live peaceful, stable, untouchable lives.

”Alright, so is it our turn to share updates?” one of the new Suzukis asked.

”Hold on a second. Let me finish my current quest line first,” Arifureta Suzuki interrupted.

There was still one final piece to his plan in Tortus, and to execute it flawlessly, he needed Kaori and Shizuku to play their parts on the surface.

Back in the physical world, Kaori and Shizuku sighed helplessly as they reviewed Suzuki’s final instructions. They knew exactly how much of a headache this was going to be, but it was the very last hurdle.

As soon as this charade was over, Suzuki would return to the surface, and they would no longer have to hide anything.

Steeling themselves, the two girls stepped out into the main encampment, immediately running into the absolute worst person to see when you have a headache.

Amanogawa Kouki stood before the gathered classmates, his face struck with an expression of tragic, unwavering determination.

”Everyone!” Kouki shouted, his voice ringing with naive, heroic bravado. ”We have to keep pushing forward! No matter how hard this dungeon is, we must conquer it together! Let’s go!”

”...”

Kaori and Shizuku just stared at him in dead, exhausted silence.
