Ning An's Wild Wish System

As long as this deal goes through, the Ministry of Defense will directly receive forty-five billion US dollars.

And according to Walker, the production cost of an aircraft carrier arresting cable is five million US dollars.

Give the vendor a profit of one million for each cable and purchase the arresting cable.

Then sell it at a price of fifteen million US dollars.

With this turnover, Andre doesn’t need to do anything and he directly nets a pure profit of nine million, and this is just for one!

Even if Walker receives half a percent of the profit and both sides are smoothed over, Andre is still overflowing with wealth!

In an instant, he seemed to see countless wealth descending from the sky, directly swallowing up his ambition.

After a momentary scene or two, Andre cleared his throat and said with a smile:

”My friend, if you purchase such a large quantity, it’s definitely not a problem to ask for a discount.”

”I’ll immediately hold a meeting to strive for the most favorable price for you!”

Watching the fish take the bait, Li Jianye felt delighted inside, but remained stern-faced.

Only when he returned to the Dragon Country Embassy did he laugh out loud.

Meanwhile, Andre couldn’t sit still and got up, pacing excitedly back and forth in the office.

After all, in Yingjiang, there’s no road that money can’t open.

The Ministry of Defense’s purchase price for an aircraft carrier arresting cable is six million, but selling it back to Dragon Country, it’s fifteen million, plus half a ton of rare earths.

With three thousand arresting cables, he can magically receive two hundred and seventy billion US dollars and one thousand five hundred tons of rare earths from Dragon Country.

Though greasing the wheels will take up a large portion, Andre still enjoys a lavish feast.

As for giving Dragon Country a discount?

That’s absolutely impossible!

Once he got hold of Dragon Country’s lifeline, even by the nature of capital, there’s no possibility of a price reduction.

When supply is less than demand, the seller is the king!

Moreover, he also made a detailed investigation, and the arresting cable with the parameters required by Dragon Country, the world’s manufacturers can’t produce.

In other words, apart from Yingjiang, Dragon Country has no possibility of buying elsewhere.

As for holding a meeting?

What a farce of a meeting, letting those old fogies who know nothing find out and then discuss how to share the money?

About two hours later, Andre called Li Jianye.

When Li Jianye arrived again, Andre showed a regretful expression: ”My dear friend, I’m sorry, I wasn’t able to secure a discount on the aircraft carrier arresting cables.”

Li Jianye chuckled coldly in his heart but showed an extremely anxious face: ”Admiral Andre, we’re purchasing in bulk, how could there be no discount at all?”

Exactly.

That’s the tone.

Andre nodded slyly to himself; it’s with such anxious attitudes that he could take advantage of Dragon Country.

Andre shook his head, putting on a resigned act:

”It’s those old guys in the assembly, hell-bent on not reducing prices. Even I can’t do anything about them.”

”Besides, you know the quality of our aircraft carrier arresting cables, definitely relying on honest dealings.”

Aye, look at that.

With this series of performances, one can’t help but applaud.

If that acting competition invited Andre over, the outcome probably wouldn’t be easy to predict.

After hearing this, Li Jianye slumped back a bit and sighed long, stifled with frustration, he said:

”Alright, but we have a condition.”

”All of it must be delivered within five days, no delays allowed.”

Andre nodded confidently, ”Dear friend, rest assured, it will not affect the day your aircraft carrier is unveiled.”

Soon, the contract was successfully signed, and watching the final signature of Li Jianye, Andre extended his hand with a smile:

”Mr. Li Jianye, pleasant cooperation.”

Li Jianye sneered twice and turned away immediately.

Andre put his hand down, the smile on his face unchanged. The more bitter Li Jianye looked, the stronger Andre felt inside.

That night, Andre notified Walker.

Walker listened without responding, instead, first calling Williams.

”You’re ruining me! Where am I supposed to get so many aircraft carrier arresting cables?”

Hearing Walker’s concerns, Williams laughed casually: ”Dear Walker, don’t worry, the goods are already sorted.”

”I mean, Dragon Country is truly naive. They surprisingly never knew they can produce such high-performance aircraft carrier arresting cables within their own country, making it cheap for us.”

”Not long ago, a manufacturer from Dragon Country contacted me, asking if we could take all their goods off their hands, and assured us that as long as we agreed, they could deliver them soon.”

After hearing this, Walker was incredulous: ”Is it really that urgent? Could it be a trick.”

Williams inhaled his cigar with satisfaction, saying confidently: ”I already sent our people in Dragon Country to check it out. The manufacturer piles up those high-performance arresting cables in the warehouse unsold.”

”The funniest part is, they themselves don’t know the use of producing such high-performance cables, so they never sold them. Now finally, someone is taking them all, they fear we would back down.”

Upon hearing this, Walker finally felt relieved and then said excitedly:

”Brother, this time, we’re really going to make a fortune!”

When Walker contacted Andre, he saw Andre brimming with spirits.

”Walker! Good job! I knew I was right about you!”

Walker looked bewildered, but adhering to a cautious attitude, said nothing while the superior was in a good mood.

”Hahaha, aircraft carrier arresting cables, great stuff, even the Russians are buying from us, good! Very good!”

This time, Walker caught the key point and asked puzzled, ”Russians? Why are they involved? Don’t they also produce these things?”

Andre dismissed it: ”They can make them, but they’re relics of the last century, handed down as legacy. So many years have passed, yet they’ve made no progress.”

”Not long ago, there was that scandal where the arresting cable failed to stop a fighter jet, causing it to plunge into the sea.”

Walker immediately realized: ”This is a perfect opportunity!”

Andre smiled along: ”In the last century, they still thought they could go against us. Now look, even such a simple thing they have to come to us for help, hehe.”

”This time, I purposely made them pay through the nose: selling to Dragon Country at fifteen million plus half a ton of rare earths and to the Russians for thirty million directly!”

”You wouldn’t believe, when the Russian representative signed and his face turned green with anger, they still gritted their teeth and signed a thousand-unit contract!”

”If I knew they would agree so readily, I would have raised the price, such a pity!”

Walker asked some questions, ”Sir, you’ve pushed so hard, the price might be leaked and could be investigated. What if the Russians buy from Dragon Country?”

”After all, Dragon Country bought three thousand units; it won’t use that many so soon.”

Andre waved his finger, smiling: ”You don’t understand, this involves inter-country relations.”

”About Russians and Dragon Country, they may seem as close brothers sharing everything, but their relationship is actually as fragile as thin ice, very difficult to reach the other side.”

”Even with actual brothers, clear accounts are needed, not to mention between two great countries. Them, hehe, they actually guard against each other privately.”

Handing over the contract from the desk to Walker, Andre instructed ”Tell the company that these aircraft carrier arresting cables must be delivered within the specified time.”

Walker nodded, ”Sir, rest assured, I’ll personally urge them, it definitely won’t hold up anything.”

Packing up the files, Walker was about to leave when he was suddenly stopped by Andre: ”Walker, wait.”

”Help me arrange a news conference, invite every reporter you can from each country, set the time for the day of the Dragon Country’s aircraft carrier launch.”

”I want to stage a spectacular global livestream; I want the whole world to know who truly leads this world!”

”Dragon Country and these countries dreaming of challenging my Yingjiang, they can go daydream. Without my Yingjiang, they couldn’t even make a tiny aircraft carrier arresting cable.”

”This time, we not only need to do it big, but make a statement, knocking out Dragon Country’s rising fortunes and arrogance in one go!”
