Ning An's Wild Wish System

”Alright then.”

Walker struggled to shake his head but eventually abandoned the soldier’s principles.

He adjusted his attire in front of the mirror and headed straight for the National Defense Building.

When Walker entered Andre’s office, Andre taunted without turning his head:

”You still have the face to come here?”

”Can’t even control the dogs below, do you know how much negative impact it’s brought us internationally?”

Walker placed a dossier on the desk with a sneer and said:

”Sir, why should we Yingjiang care about others’ opinions? As for that dog, let it bark for a while.”

”However, because of this dog, I accidentally discovered a company that produces aircraft carrier arrestor hooks.”

”The arrestor hooks they produce have achieved the same level of technology we currently possess, capable of withstanding 1.2 million pounds of force!”

”Walt?” Andre spun his chair, turning around instantly, face full of disbelief: ”Say that again.”

”1.2 million pounds of force?!”

Picking up the dossier on the table, Andre eagerly began to read it.

”Yes, and it’s not even its limit, not by a long shot.”

Walker handed over another dossier, precisely the data of the aircraft carrier arrestor hook that their country had mastered.

Comparing the two, Andre took a deep breath, slammed the table suddenly, his expression excited:

”Good! Walker, you’ve scored a great achievement this time!”

”Hahaha, Dragon Country is in our hands again.”

Walker looked a bit hesitant, not knowing what this meant.

The purpose of submitting this dossier was to drive a wedge and let the old geezer in front take the heat, to heavily profit from the Yingjiang navy.

What does this have to do with Dragon Country?

Walker asked in confusion: ”Sir, what does this have to do with Dragon Country.”

Andre pulled a document from the drawer and handed it to Walker, reclining in his chair, smiling as he spoke:

”This is a procurement list sent by Dragon Country a few days ago, which includes the procurement of aircraft carrier arrestor hooks.”

”Although they’ve successfully developed their new fighter jets, the technology for aircraft carrier arrestor hooks has yet to be broken through, making it impossible to successfully stop a fully powered fighter.”

”Even the data on the aircraft carrier arrestor hooks we produce are somewhat outdated. The navy originally planned to suspend exports of arrestor hooks to Dragon Country, or did you think a mere dog could create such a stir?”

Looking at the data report, Andre was absorbed in it as if intoxicated:

”The arrestor hooks you delivered today, the data is superb! It completely meets their needs!”

”Hahaha, we must squeeze Dragon Country hard this time!!!”

Greedy hyena!

Watching the excited Andre, cherishing the data report like a treasure.

Walker was initially stunned, then he internally started cursing in all directions.

He merely wanted to earn some insignificant ’profit’ from the Yingjiang navy.

After all, Yingjiang’s military spending is top-class worldwide.

Even a little profit leaked from the navy would suffice for Walker to retire peacefully and enjoy his old age.

Yet, his intention was just to earn some naval difference, not to clash with Dragon Country.

To guard against the unexpected, Walker with a brooding face, solemnly said:

”Sir, these aircraft carrier arrestor hooks are so excellent, they should be mounted on our country’s warships, they absolutely should not be given to vile foreigners!”

Andre nonchalantly took out a cigar from the drawer, lit it, and indulged in the thin white smoke with a face of contentment: ”Walker, do you know there’s an ancient saying in Dragon Country, ’winning without fighting’?”

”We Yingjiang dominate the world, not only relying on being ruthless and strong in force, but also using our brains.”

”Aren’t these just aircraft carrier arrestor hooks? What’s the big deal? Even if Dragon Country can build aircraft carriers and produce fighters, what of it?”

”A tiny gizmo can still frustrate them, and we can dispose of such gizmos at will. What will they think?”

”They need to understand that latecomers are always just latecomers and have only the path of submission!”

Walker’s expression was slightly conflicted, but he still agreed with a nod.

This indeed is a common strategy used by Yingjiang, frequently employed during the rivalry with Big Bear.

But...

Before Walker could express his thoughts indirectly, Andre put the report on the table, sneering: ”Besides, we don’t give these things to Dragon Country for free, we don’t make losing deals.”

Walker fell silent; he realized the fire he had kindled was already beyond his means to extinguish.

All he could do now was pray to God for protection, so that the upper echelon of Dragon Country wouldn’t find out about this company.

Andre’s finger heavily tapped on a piece of data in the report, grinning: ”Tell me, is it true that the report says the selling price of an aircraft carrier arrestor hook is only five million dollars.”

Walker hesitated for a moment but ultimately gave a silent response: ”That’s how it is, sir.”

”That’s it then.” Andre clapped his hands, eyes narrowing slightly: ”If we produce them ourselves, costs would be around six million dollars, and the enterprise you discovered apparently has far lower production costs than the navy.”

”If we bulk purchase from them and sell each for twenty million dollars to Dragon Country, not even considering other conditions, tsk tsk tsk.”

Walker looked up sharply, incredulously at the officer already lost in his vision of the future.

Twenty million dollars each?

And there are other conditions!

This isn’t just making Dragon Country bleed, it’s testing Walker’s nerve!

When the rabbit gets desperate, it will soon trace the source of the aircraft carrier arrestor hooks.

By that time.

Forget about him enjoying his old age; Yingjiang would have to send him to appease Dragon Country’s wrath.

However, before Walker could think of a way to stop this crazy idea, he heard Andre assigning tasks:

”Never mind, let someone else handle this stuff. Edwards, you go liaise with the Dragon Country embassy, tell them we Yingjiang are all for Earth’s common development.”

”Regarding the predicament Dragon Country is facing, we maintain a mutually beneficial attitude, actively developing aircraft carrier arrestor hooks that meet their parameters, which we completed within a week.”

”But considering the time and materials consumed, please ensure they come with the utmost sincerity, I’ll be here, ready to discuss with them at any time.”

Walker couldn’t utter a word; he had to swallow his terror piecemeal, exiting with an ashen face.

Meanwhile, at Changchun Temple.

Lin Hai had already reached the incense burner and began to make a wish.

Three sticks of Divine Invitation Incense were lit, casting a faint golden glow, quite peculiar.

Just as the Divine Invitation Incense was lit, the system panel appeared above Lin Hai’s head.
