Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

With the alliance being set, there was no time to waste at all.

Even without leaving the meeting room, I said, ”I need data from all over the country.”

Instead of leaving the meeting room, the meeting room was now being turned into a task force headquarters. This was the best use of the resources that were already here after all.

Only it didn’t seem like the demi humans were going to act when they heard this.

In fact, it even seemed like King Kashou was at a loss as to what to do.

Seeing this, I said, ”I know that it might seem wrong to provide this, but it’s necessary for us to find the source of the corruption. I need to know the number of people that were infected and where they live. With that, I should be able to pinpoint where the source of the corruption energy is coming from.”

Hearing this, the others seemed to understand what I was requesting this for and it seemed like they wanted to press King Kashou for this as well.

However, it seemed like King Kashou was still at a loss as to what to do.

But before I could say anything else, he suddenly said, ”It’s not that I don’t want to give you this information, it’s just that I don’t have anything to give you.”

”Huh?” All of us couldn’t help being surprised when we heard this before looking at him with narrowed eyes.

Each person that was here was a representative from their own country, so they had some idea of how running a country worked.

This was something that was the very basics of running a country.

It was the absolute minimum that had to be done when dealing with a situation like this.

But now it seemed like he was saying that they didn’t do this at all...

Was it just because of how the demi human society worked or was it something else?

No, it really seemed like King Kashou was serious about this.

It seemed like he really didn’t have anything to give us at all.

But if that was the case, then this would be troublesome...

Or that seemed to be the case until the right minister suddenly said, ”Your majesty, that’s just because you’ve never taken an interest in these matters. There are reports, it’s just that I’ve never shown them to you.”

”Huh?” This time, it was King Kashou’s turn to be surprised.

At the same time, it even seemed like he was a bit hurt because of what the right minister said. Only the right minister didn’t seem to care about what King Kashou was thinking as he said to me, ”I’ll prepare it right away. Just wait a moment.”

I gave a nod in response before slowly looking at King Kashou.

With the look on his face, it was as if he was the kid that wasn’t allowed to help.

It really seemed like he was hurt by what the right minister said, but no one seemed to be thinking about comforting him with the way that they treated him. It even seemed like they were used to seeing him like this with how easily they ignored him.

As I saw him like this, I couldn’t help feeling a bit of empathy towards him.

After all, there was a part of King Kashou that kind of reminded him of me.

When it came to governing the kingdom, there wasn’t much that I could do either since I had been essentially cut off by my people. Though it wasn’t as if I was against being cut off like this since it meant there was less for me to do.

If it wasn’t for where we were, I might have gone up and comforted him.

Only this really wasn’t the right place for that.

So I just waited for the right minister to come back with the information that I needed.

It didn’t take long for the right minister to come back with several demi humans that carried in piles of papers.

The way that they carried everything in and then separated them, it was clear that they were already very familiar with the information that were on these reports. At the same time, it seemed that they already knew what they should split it by.

Once they were done, the right minister also took out a map of the entire Mofu Mofu Kingdom for us.

With this map, I could tell that the reports were arranged in a way that demonstrated where they came from. That made it easy to tell which location had the most number of reports of people falling ill.

The right minister reminded me of the prime minister with the way that he took care of things.

It seemed like King Kashou was in a similar position to mine, which just made me wonder why he became the king in the first place. It wasn’t as if the crown was that easy to take even if this was the Mofu Mofu Kingdom that didn’t have as much power struggle.

Not having as much didn’t mean that there was no power struggle at all...

But when I came over to the reports, I threw this thought out of my mind and focused on the report in front of me.

”No, this isn’t what I’m looking for.” I said as I put the reports back on the pile.

Though this area had the most number of cases, that didn’t mean that this was the place where the corruption energy should be. The reason why there were all these cases was because of how many people lived in this area.

Just because there were a lot of people becoming ill in this place, that didn’t mean that it was actually here.

After going through several more piles, I finally said, ”This is it. This should be one of the places with the corruption energy.”

Everyone immediately came over to see what was special about the place I pointed out.
