Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

Not long after the replies were sent, the envoys from the different kingdoms started to arrive.

Many of them came rushing to our Kite Kingdom, as if they were afraid that they would miss the event.

Many of them were even treating this as if it was the event of the century.

That was why when they arrived, they all had such fervor in greeting us that I couldn’t help feeling a bit scared.

After all, facing these people was like being prey being stared at by a predator.

It was an intensity that was hard to be not put off by, but I knew that there was a reason for this.

It was a reason that I didn’t want to see.

”Are there any of your other race friends that have arrived yet?”

”We were wondering if we could have a little chat with them.”

”We just want to deepen our relationship with the friends from the other races.”

It sounded like they wanted to be friendly on the surface, but the reality of the matter was that they were looking out for their own benefits. It was clear that they were only trying to approach the other races to gain something from them.

This was something that we had already considered when inviting these countries, but it wasn’t as if this was something that could be changed that easily.

So that was why we just had to accept that this was a reality.

But at the same time, there were far more of them than we had expected and they were far more enthusiastic than we thought.

It was all because there were far more smaller countries that were allowed to come to this wedding.

These were smaller countries that normally wouldn’t have had the chance to even approach those from the empires of the human race. So there was no need to mention them being able to approach the other races.

Since this was their first time, they didn’t hold back at all.

But for the four empires of the human race, they were far more restrained.

It even seemed like they weren’t interested at all in the other races, but that was also because they had plenty of contact with them already.

Most of them had already made a deal with the dwarves and there were deals that were being made with the elves and the mermaids that were being facilitated by Haley.

As such, there was no need for them to do something like what the representatives from the other races were doing.

After dealing with them, even I couldn’t help feeling a bit tired.

I was someone that had faced the forces of Destruction before, but I felt like I would rather face them than these representatives from the different countries. After all, I could at least hit them instead of having to hold myself back against them.

I only got a break when those from the other races arrived.

Specifically, it was when those from the mermaid race and the giant race arrived.

They were the other sides of this wedding, they were the in laws.

That was why when they arrived, the representatives from the other countries had no choice but to give us some space. It wasn’t as if they could keep talking to me about what they had been talking about before in front of them.

”You saved me.” I said to the Merman King and Merman Queen when they stepped up in front of me.

The two of them looked at me with faint smiles on their faces before the Merman King suddenly stepped forward.

I was a bit caught off guard when I saw him step up like this, but I didn’t take a step back as I faced him properly.

After all, this was the man that was about to become my father in law.

Before saying anything, he suddenly reached his hand out towards me as if he was waiting for a handshake from me.

I slowly reached my hand out since I had no idea what he was doing, but then he suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me in close.

However, he didn’t do that to give me a hug.

Rather, he pulled me in so he could whisper in my ears.

”If you do anything to my daughter, I won’t forgive you.” The killing intent that was in his voice was very clear.

When I heard this, I couldn’t help revealing a bitter smile.

But I quickly straightened the look on my face before saying with a serious look, ”I won’t let her down.”

The Merman King didn’t say anything, he didn’t even move as he looked at me with that same serious look on his face.

After a long moment of silence, he finally gave a slow nod as his expression relaxed a bit and he moved away from me. When he had fully moved away and everyone could see the look on his face, he had already changed it into a smile.

”I’m glad that you’re the one that she chose.”

Then that smile faded a bit as his expression became a bit serious again, ”Thank you for taking care of her.”

I grasped his hand at this and shook it hard before saying, ”You can count on me. I won’t let her down.”

The Merman King’s response was a single nod.

To the side, the Merman Queen revealed a wide smile after seeing this.

Other than these two, there was the group from the giants that I had to deal with.

Specifically, it was the group from the Vale Tribe.

Isra’s father came forward just like the Merman King had done, but there was a size difference there. At the same time, he didn’t come forward alone as several other giants also came to surround me.

Once they were around me, they revealed that they were Isra’s brothers.

I was surprised since she had never mentioned them to me before and I didn’t even see them when I went to the Vale Tribe.

But that wasn’t the important thing.

With the brothers and Isra’s father, they surrounded me and threatened me like the Merman King did. But in the end, I was able to convince them like I had done with the Merman King and they moved away.

At least it seemed like I had their blessings on this matter.
