Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

After stopping the two of them, I explained the situation to the two generals.

Though it was mainly me who explained things, I made sure that the two popes also explained certain things.

If It was just me explaining things, then it would have made things very awkward.

After the explanation was over, the two generals looked at me with even stranger looks. At the same time, I could see the traces of doubt that were in their eyes which showed that they found it hard to believe me.

I wouldn’t have believed me either since it was something that was hard to believe even for me who had experienced it.

So for bystanders were just watching the results of it, it would be hard to believe.

But this was the reality of the situation…

It was a good thing that the popes actually started explaining the oracles that they got related to the situation.

The other bad thing was that they started calling me a hero to the two generals.

When the two generals heard this, they started looking at me like I was some kind of false prophet that had tricked these two popes into calling me a hero.

It wasn’t as if I wanted this in the first place.

I had done all that I could to avoid being labelled a hero, but they were the ones that labelled me a hero all on their own. I really couldn’t do anything about this since they were the ones that just did this to me one sidedly…

The popes naturally also saw the way that they looked at me as well, so they started giving even more explanations.

But the generals were military men, so they were able to pick up the key parts of what the pope said.

”God of Destruction? Does such a god really exist?”

”So the corruption energy is destruction energy controlled by the God of Destruction?”

Though it didn’t seem like they fully believed it, this was certainly information that was quite important. After all, none of the human race had any idea who was the one behind the corruption energy in the first place.

After the popes started talking about this, the generals also made sure that the reporters were moved away.

This was easier than getting rid of them all to silence them.

After all, this was the kind of information that couldn’t be leaked that easily.

When the popes finished, the two generals gave nods of understanding before one of them said, ”So you’re here to seek out this Relic of Destruction?”

It was clear by the look of doubt that was in their eyes that they didn’t fully believe that the Relic of Destruction truly existed. At the same time, it was clear that they weren’t religious people to begin with, so they even doubted the existence of the God of Destruction.

The other gods they could believe in because there were signs of them, but this God of Destruction…

It wasn’t a god that they had heard of, even with the extensive information network of the Democratic Union, they didn’t have any information on this god. So it wasn’t as if they could come to a decision when they didn’t have all the information needed to make a decision.

After knitting their brows to think for a bit, the generals said, ”We’ll bring this up to the president and he’ll decide what to do. Until then, please relax yourselves in our capital. There’s plenty of people that are excited to meet you.”

The way that they said this, it was clear that they were planning on using this as another press opportunity.

The top brass of two of the top four empires mingling with each other, that was a field day for any reporter.

With that, they started leading us into their capital.

Though we already knew the location of the ruins where the Relic of Destruction was located, we couldn’t go there since it was in the territory of the Democratic Union. To sneak into ruins in the territory of another country was equal to invading.

So we had to get permission from them first before heading there.

It was just that this didn’t seem like an easy thing…

After being invited in, I was surprised that they actually had enough space on the roads for our wyverns to pass as well.

But then again, I remembered that this was an empire that had cars and such in the first place. They had to make the roads big enough for all those cars to pass through, so the streets of this capital were bigger than any I’ve seen before.

They even emptied one of their larger parking lots just for us to house the wyverns.

Though it didn’t seem like the wyverns enjoyed the feeling of the parking lot.

It was ground that was completely covered in a black substance that Klein and the others didn’t recognize, but I knew that this was asphalt.

To put these wyverns in a parking lot covered in asphalt didn’t seem like the best thing, but it was only temporary. The generals promised that they would prepare a more suitable space since they weren’t aware that the wyverns would be coming in the first place.

So there was nothing that could be done.

Once the wyverns were settled, we were brought to a luxurious banquet hall where there were already many people gathered.

These people were not nobles of the Democratic Union since the Democratic Union didn’t have nobles. But they were similar to nobles in a monarchy since they were all people that had positions of power.

These were famous generals and merchants that had been gathered.

This was actually the structure of government that I was more used to since it was the kind that I lived in before coming to this world.

I definitely fit in more easily than the two popes, which everyone was surprised by.

But I could still see the strange looks that they gave me.

It was clear that they had heard bits and pieces of what the popes said from the generals.
