A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 699: Chapter 699: Want to Have a Child?

After a few times, Mu Yan felt somewhat exhausted. She pushed the man who was tirelessly over her and said hoarsely, ”Stop fooling around, I want to sleep.”

”Who was begging me just now?” Jiang Jingheng teased.

Mu Yan’s face was warm, and she playfully pounded his chest with her fist.

”Who asked you to be so difficult?”

”But Mrs. Jiang likes it a lot.”

Mu Yan glared at him, thinking how shameless he was with his words.

She grabbed his misbehaving hand and said, ”I want to talk to you.”

Jiang Jingheng looked at her fixedly for a few seconds, then suddenly turned over, pulling her into his arms, and said, ”What do you want to talk about?”

”I was wrong today.” Mu Yan immediately admitted her fault.

After what just happened, he should be in a good mood and would probably forgive her.

”And then?” Jiang Jingheng asked in a flat tone.

”I promise I won’t do it again in the future,” Mu Yan said.

”You’ve said this before, it’s not very credible.”

Mu Yan was taken aback and explained, ”I really wasn’t thinking about dying, I just wanted to find a quiet place.”

”Dying?” Jiang Jingheng’s tone grew heavier. He suddenly turned her face to make her look at him.

His expression was extremely serious, ”That word, don’t even think about it or say it.”

Mu Yan’s heart trembled, and she obediently said, ”I understand.”

Jiang Jingheng furrowed his eyebrows and looked fixedly at her for a few seconds. The feeling of despair when he couldn’t find her by the river earlier resurfaced in his mind.

He said in a deep voice, ”I am your husband. I hope you’ll consider my feelings before making any decisions.”

Not knowing what he was thinking, he suddenly laughed at himself, ”Of course, if you don’t consider me the closest, most important person to you, I have nothing else to say.”

”It’s not like that!” Mu Yan quickly refuted, ”Of course, you’re the closest, most important person to me. It’s my fault this time for making you worry. I promise there won’t be a next time.”

She actually lied just now. When she first went to the river, her heart was dead as ashes, and there was indeed a moment when she wanted to jump and finish what she didn’t do five years ago.

But as soon as the thought arose, she extinguished it.

She thought of Mu Chen, who had no one to care for him, and also her husband.

These were the two most important men in her life. What would happen to them if she just died like that?

And could she really let go of them?

No!

She only had them, and they only had her.

She had been selfish once and lost Mom. She couldn’t let them be sad or grieve anymore.

Jiang Jingheng lowered his head and kissed her lips softly, murmuring, ”You’re not just appeasing me, right?”

”No.” Mu Yan snuggled closer to him, ”As long as you don’t abandon me, I’ll never leave you.”

”Abandon? Already dreaming before sleeping?” Jiang Jingheng arched an eyebrow.

Mu Yan was amused by his words. She rubbed his face and laughed, ”I wouldn’t have such nightmares. If I dream, it’ll be sweet dreams where we grow old together and our children and grandchildren fill the house.”

A vision flashed in Jiang Jingheng’s mind, and a dark light flickered in his light brown eyes.

Suddenly, he asked, ”Thinking of having children?”

Mu Yan paused, realizing she indeed had such thoughts.

The more she grew fond of him, the more she anticipated having a love child with him.

Best if the child looked like him.

”Hmm?” From above, his probing voice came.

Mu Yan came back to her senses, looked at him, and asked, ”Do you want them?”

He suddenly bit her earlobe, whispering, ”You’re still young, you can play for a few more years.”

If he were facing Mu Yan, she would surely see the coldness in his eyes.
