A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 576: Chapter 576 Birthday Wish!

Ning Shishen looked at the girl’s shocked expression, his face wore a gentle smile, but inside he was like a stormy sea.

As expected, he guessed right.

She left when she was seven years old, even if her identity information changed, she would still celebrate her real birthday.

He smiled slightly, ”It was Liu Yun who told me.”

Mu Yan’s eyes showed even more surprise, did Liu Yun know today was her birthday?

Her relationship with Liu Yun didn’t seem to be that close.

However... she remembered there was a year in college when she participated in a competition on her birthday, could Liu Yun have been there at that time?

Being wished a happy birthday by a friend was not a bad thing, Mu Yan didn’t think much of it and smiled, ”Thank you, Brother Ning.”

”Fortunately, Liu Yun didn’t deceive me, otherwise there would have been a mix-up today, as your personal information shows your birthday has passed,” Ning Shishen said seemingly unintentionally.

Mu Yan explained, ”I heard from my mom that it was a mistake when it was registered, and it was delayed by ten days.”

Ning Shishen smiled, ”Is that so?”

Mu Yan looked at the cake and suddenly thought of a question.

”Brother Ning, did you specifically go to the flower shop today to find me and celebrate my birthday?”

Otherwise, his timing was too perfect, and this cake, this Western restaurant, seemed specially arranged.

Being seen through, Ning Shishen still looked composed, not showing a hint of embarrassment.

He looked at her and said candidly, ”Yes, and no.”

Mu Yan was stunned for a moment, somewhat not understanding his meaning.

Although she was friends with Ning Shishen, their relationship wasn’t that close...

As if seeing Mu Yan’s thoughts, Ning Shishen explained, ”I noticed your birthday because you share the same birthday as someone I know.”

”Huh?” Mu Yan was puzzled. Just for this reason? It seemed a bit far-fetched.

However, sharing the same birthday, that was quite a coincidence.

Ning Shishen explained further, ”I lost contact with her many years ago and couldn’t celebrate her birthday. Just happened to know you both share the same birthday and happened to pass the flower shop today, so I decided to celebrate both of your birthdays together.”

Mu Yan saw the sorrow on his face and could feel that girl was very important to him.

She thought it was inappropriate to doubt his intentions, especially since she was the one benefiting from this.

”Thank you, Brother Ning!” Mu Yan said sincerely.

Ning Shishen looked at her and asked, ”Aren’t you curious about who that girl is?”

Mu Yan was taken aback, instinctively looked at him, and asked, ”Who?”

”She is my fiancée,” Ning Shishen replied.

Mu Yan knew he had a fiancée, so they had lost contact.

She asked, ”How long have you been apart?”

”It’s been sixteen years,” Ning Shishen sighed.

Mu Yan pursed her lips, sixteen years, that’s quite a long time.

She said earnestly, ”I believe you will definitely reunite.”

Ning Shishen looked at her clear eyes, a sense of melancholy surfaced in his heart. It seemed she really didn’t remember him.

He smiled, ”We will, make a wish!”

”Okay!” Mu Yan nodded.

She looked at the birthday cake, closed her eyes, and wished that Ning Shishen and his fiancée would reunite soon, then blew out the candles.

The two continued to chat casually, and Ning Shishen suddenly asked Mu Yan, ”I think I saw the Jiang Family’s car parked near the flower shop today, were they looking for you?”

Mu Yan paused her action of cutting steak, looked down at the steak on the plate, was silent for a moment, then put down her knife and fork, looked at Ning Shishen, and asked, ”Brother Ning, can you tell me about the Jiang Family?”
