A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 457: Chapter 457: Extremely Rare Good Man

At the event, Mu Yan was dressed in a white lace gown, her hair curled in waves, looking ethereal.

She stood among a group of new actors, like the moon surrounded by stars.

Today was the first promotion after the release of ”Hope,” and there were many reporters on site.

Director Meng Xing, who was only in his twenties, was not very tall, wore glasses, and looked like a typical tech guy.

He stood next to Mu Yan, facing the media, repeatedly affirming Mu Yan’s acting skills and her character.

”Honestly, I didn’t expect to be able to cast Miss Mu Yan in the lead role, since she’s too beautiful.”

Laughter erupted from below; Mu Yan hadn’t expected the usually serious director to have such concerns.

In fact, during the filming in the mountain village, Meng Xing was very silent and rarely communicated with her, except when discussing the scenes.

A reporter asked him, ”Director Meng, with so many actors, why did you choose Mu Yan?”

Meng Xing answered, ”Actually, Mu Yan wasn’t my first choice. Before her, I had invited several actors, but they refused because the pay was too low. I approached Mu Yan just to try my luck, and she agreed after reading the script.”

The reporter shifted the topic to Mu Yan, ”Mu Yan, why did you agree to star in this movie?”

Mu Yan replied, ”Director Meng’s words moved me. He said he wanted more people to know the story behind ’Hope’ and hoped that the children in the mountain areas would truly see hope. I didn’t do this movie for the pay; I liked how the female lead was such a positive person, and I wanted to do something for those children in the mountainous areas.”

”Like what?”

”I want more people to learn about the plight of those mountain village children through this movie, hoping kind-hearted people would help them, and I will donate a sum of money to these children myself.”

As soon as she said this, applause erupted from below.

With the movie discussion over, the reporters began to gossip about Mu Yan’s love life.

”Mu Yan, do you have a boyfriend now?”

Mu Yan calmly replied, ”No.”

Song Cheng’an said that a boyfriend and a husband are not the same.

”Then the gentleman who accompanied you to watch the movie on the premiere night of ’Hope’ wasn’t your boyfriend?”

Mu Yan looked at him with some surprise, ”I think I’ve answered this question before.”

”What?”

”I don’t have a boyfriend.”

Reporter, ”...”

”Then who was the person who accompanied you to watch the movie that night?”

Mu Yan slightly smiled, ”I think my agent has already clarified this.”

”Your agent said that person wasn’t your boyfriend.”

”That’s right.”

Reporter, ”...”

How did we end up back here?

”Then, was that person you on the night?”

Mu Yan replied, ”If I say it’s not me, would you believe it?”

”This... not really.”

Mu Yan looked helpless, ”Then since you don’t trust me, I don’t think I need to answer, right?”

Reporter, ”...”

Is this a damn interview or a tongue twister!

Seeing the reporters running out of patience, Mu Yan suddenly relaxed and said, ”Actually, my requirements for a future boyfriend aren’t very high.”

With these words, the reporters instantly perked up.

”What kind of boyfriend do you have in mind?”

Mu Yan replied, ”Good looks, good physique, good cooking, good temper, doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke, cares for me, loves me, isn’t unfaithful, spends money on me without a second thought, and yes, his salary card must be handed over.”

Reporter, ”...”

And those requirements aren’t high?

A young and beautiful star like Mu Yan is definitely looking for someone rich; together that forms an extinct perfect man.

But since he’s extinct, it means he doesn’t exist.
