Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]

Tian sat beside Yue holding his hand. Just a few minutes ago, Fan Xui stormed out of the hospital, but already she could hear the whispers.

One of the wounded soldiers who was admitted just now started to gossip about what happened near the wall.

Fan Xui apparently tossed someone off the wall, and that person was eaten alive by the zombies.

She did not feel repulsed by this. Rather she felt very proud.

Fan Xui she knew, was very soft-hearted and he did not like it one bit. if one has to live in a zombie apocalypse, they had to be cold and callous.

Instead, he was a soft, teddy bear. It was the only reason Yue was hurt so badly so many times.

In fact, she was prepared to keep the guy away from Yue just because of this reason.

’I guess I might change my mind about that.’ she thought, placing a hand on Trexa’s small pillow.

She repurposed a pillow into a hospital bed for Trexa and placed it close by Yue’s torso. In this way, she can take care of them both. After all, they both were her siblings.

Without Trexa they could have died so many times. She was very very grateful for that.

This was her way of repaying her.

Suddenly there was a loud scratching sound of the iron chair that was dragged close to her and Fan Xui heavily sat down.

”Heard you killed someone,” she casually whispered without taking a look at him.

”Yes, he was the reason Yue’s in this state. If you were in my situation, would you have spared him?”

Tian glanced at him with a huge smirk. ”I would have blasted that guy away until pieces of his body could not be found,”

Fan Xui’s eyes were glowing blue and his whole body was giving off electric sparks.

”You okay? Heard glowing blue eyes is the other Fan Xui taking over.” She sighed. ”I was hoping that Yue’s Fan Xui could act so cold and callus. Guess I was hoping for too much,”

”I am not the other Fan Xui. He is gone now.”

”Huh?”

Tina peered at him.

”Our memories merged. There is just one Fan Xui now,” he gently pulled Yue’s hand out of her hold and kissed his fingertip.

”How did you do that?”

”Effort and a lot of trauma,”

Tian laughed out loud. ”Yes trauma, it’s a great ’hero’ origin story. So..... now that you have portrayed your powers so openly, what are your plans?”

”Till now I have been too complacent. I’m going to take full control of this base as I did in my previous life. There are a lot of things that needed to be changed.”

”That’s good.”

Tian was satisfied with his answer. She silently hummed while touching Trexa’s pillow. The little rat had crawled into the pillowcase and was sleeping so soundly.

As she touched the small bump, she felt a difference.

The shape of Trexa was small.

”What is this,” she pulled the cover up and looked in.

To her shock, there was a small pink rat baby inside there.

”Oh my god!”

”What is it?” Fan curiously looked in as well. ”Did Trexa have a baby?”

”I think so,”

Tian carefully removed the baby rat out and placed it on the bed. She searched for Trexa inside the pillow, but she was gone. ”That’s weird. Where is she? She didn’t just disappear after giving birth, right?”

She peeled off the cover and even shook the pillow a bit.

Trexa was nowhere to be found.

”Fuck! I think she ran away!”

Tina hurriedly ran around searching for the grey rat under everyone’s beds. Some of them were infected and were snarling at her. She simply ignored their annoyance and continued to search.

Fan Xui on the other hand peered at the small pinky on the bed. The baby rat had a heart-shaped mark on her belly.

Even Trexa had this mark.

Suddenly, he remembered something crucial. Qian had once mentioned that Trexa had lived for ten years and every time she got old or sick she would reverse her time and turn young again.

”That explains it. Tian! I found Trexa!”

”Where?!” she hurriedly ran to him. His hands were empty. ”where?”

”Here,” Fan pointed to the baby rat.

”Are you kidding me? Don’t waste my precious time. She could have ran out for all I know,” Tian scowled at him and searched under Yue’s bed once again.

”No this is Trexa. Look at her tummy. She has that mark.”

Frowning, Tian gently lifted the baby rat in her palm. The rat wiggled around opening it’s pink mouth.

Its eyes were closed shut.

With her finger tip, she rolled the little rat over.

There was a mark on its tummy similar to Trexa’s

”But... how?..”

”Trexa’s special. if you understand her powers, you will get it,”

Tian sat there in complete shock. ”Youa|. ’you think she can ’go back in time’” she whispered ever so softly.?

”I know for sure. Even in my past life something like this happened. You might not know this but Trexa is the first rat to survive the virus sample. she was a testing rat. Qian was the one who was testing the virus. After ten years Trexa escaped out of there and somehow was found by Yue.”

Tian peered at et baby rat with a look of shock. ”That explains why she hates doctors,”

”She just hates Qian,”

The baby rat twitched every time he mentioned his name.

”Fuck, wait here I might have to go and beat the shit out of Qian,” she hurriedly stood up, cracking her knuckles.

Fan stopped her. ”Don’t blame him. He was doing was to help others. Even before the apocalypse, he was trying to save cancer patients. After, he was trying to undo his mistakes. He is already plagued by guilt...”

Tian hesitantly stood there. ”But he hurt Trexa.”

”Maybe you can slap him.. Once. Not more than that. It must be an ordinary slap with only your hand. No damage to his jaws and teeth.”

Tian grumbled and plopped down. ”You’re no fun. How can be slap someone without damaging their teeth? Are you insane?”

”You’re the one who is crazy.”

Tian became silently after that.

Fan Xui silently regretted saying that. ”Sorry. Are you going to tell your parents?”

Tian frowned even more. ”I have to. But I don’t think I want to. My mum.. she’s slightly sick... just slightly. She might get worse if she sees Yue like this...”

Fan Xui nodded and sat back.

Surprisingly, they both had a very good conversation about guns.

Tian, as a contract killer, had ample knowledge of the topic. And Fan Xui who retained his past life memories, shared all the favorites he used when he was fighting zombies.

This was exactly what Juda heard when she walked in.

Lui next to her glanced at her in surprise. ”is Tian actually talking to Fan? I thought she hated him,”

”She does hate him. I guess that changed,”

Juda just woke up an hour ago all healthy and energetic. She wanted to see Tian’s face the first thing, but Tian was not home.

So she got ready and walked all the way over to the barracks.

Tian’s mum was slightly aggrieved that she was walking around so soon.

But Juda assured her that everything was okay.

Both she and Lui’s injuries were nonexistent. Their bodies were healed super well.

”Who’s on the bed?” Lui frowned slightly.

There was a privacy curtain separating the view.

Juda stood on her tippy toes and looked in. she saw a familiar face. ”I think... that’s Yue!” she hurried in. ”Tian...”

”J-Juda!” Tian stumbled up and hugged her tightly. ”Why are you here? you must take rest. You must not be walking! Both of you!” she glared at them.

”I wanted to surprise you,” Juda clung to her neck. ”What happened to Yue?”

Tian stammered...

”Is he in serious condition? Tian! Why didn’t you let us know?”

Juda pushed the chair out of the way and checked his pulse. It was slightly weak.

She then opened his eyelids. His response was slow. ”It’s slow.. ? What happened to him?”

”He was poisoned,” Fan Xui said with a cold look on his face.

”Poisoned! Oh my god! Did they pump him yet? We have to do it fast!!”

”They pumped him,” Tian gently pulled Juda away. ”The doctor said the poisoning was low. He is okay.”

”What about...’Trexa’” she softly whispered into her ears.

”She’s sick,” Tian said with a worried look.

Fan Xui held up the baby rat. ”She’s here. She’s good and alive. Can you please unhand Yue? I want to hold his hand.”

Juda just gave him a look. ”What happened to him?” she shook her head and gave all her attention to Yue. ”This is no time to joke around...Yue’s response is slow. The poison definitely affected his brain. I’m not sure how much, but we have to reverse it. ’Only Trexa can do that,” she whispered once again.?

Tian and Fan Xui looked at her worriedly. ”is it bad?”

”I don’t know. Without CT scans and brain scans, we can’t say for sure. But he will have lasting effects on his body. That is for sure,”
