Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]

Zou Nui sat in front of Qian with a small bowl of soup. ”Try this,”

Qian hesitantly took it from her. ”Thank you...”

”How have you been Qian? It’s been so long since I saw you. Are you eating well? You look like you lost a lot of weight.” She nagged at him with a slight frown.

”I bet he does not sleep well as well. Qian I know research is important but you should not waste your youth on things that don’t matter. Just take a rest and spend some time with your boyfriend.” Yue’s dad said with a small smile.

Qian peered at him. Now that he was here he had could not comprehend what to ask. ’Where should it start?’

”You’re dating Peng Peng right? That’s amazing. That kid really needed someone stable in his life.” Yue’s mum whispered gently patting his head.

Somehow her motherly touch felt very comforting.

Tears welled up. Clearing his throat he held the bowl of soup tightly. ”Misses Zou.. I.. I wanted to ask something.. It’s personal and I feel like you will feel offended. But I need to know. My head is bursting. I barely get any sleep. Please..... Don’t take this rudely. If you don’t want to answer its okay,”

”Kid you’re trembling and sweating a lot,” Yue’s dad suddenly stood up and wiped at his sweaty forehead. ”Take a deep breath. Come on,”’

Qian panted. He felt a mini panic attack. He gulped the soup down. The hot soup scalded his tongue.

”Ah!”

”Oh my god, Qian! Honey, bring the burn cream. Why did you gulp it down like that? Shit, I should have cooled it down a bit,” she whispered, looking at him worriedly.

When Yue’s father left the room, Qian took the chance to whisper. ”Why did you have Tian?”

Yue’s mum’s face changed drastically. ”W-what?”

”With my father. Why....”

Her hands trembled slightly. She hurriedly placed the bowl on the table. ”I.. I don’t know what you mean,”

”I know. I know about Yue too. They are my siblings.”

Tears rolled down his face uncontrollably.

”Were you and my father....”

”No! no! We weren’t! I.. I can explain it....”

”Honey I think this burn cream can only be applied topically.” Frowning, her husband came out of the room. ”Maybe I should get him a block of ice,” he left for the kitchen nearby.

Yue’s mum anxiously looked at him. ”Qian, I’ll explain it all to you. But remember this. I never cheated nor did your father,”’ she held his hands soothingly.

”I want to know more,” Qian looked visibly relaxed.

”I..”

A loud band on the main door startled them both.

”Who?!” Yue’s dad walked over to the door with a baseball bat. The pea vine crept close to the door, ready to attack.

”Uncle! Uncle it’s me! Lui! Juda.. Juda….open!” a familiar girl’s voice came from outside.

Yue’s dad opened the door immediately. Outside, a bleeding girl stood there sobbing.

”Lui!”

She collapsed on the foyer hugging her stomach. ”Juda... they took her... they took her uncle!..” she cried.

Qian rushed to her. ”Lay back down.” He helped her down and held down her struggling shoulders. ”You will make it worse if you more a lot,” he lifted the t-shirt a bit. There was a huge stab wound there.

The bleeding was bad. He immediately pulled off his shirt and rolled it up and placed it on the wound putting pressure on it.

”Where’s Juda?” Yue’s father held her hand.

”Took her... took her....” was the only thing the young girl’ deliriously whispered.

Qian frowned deeply. ”We need to take her to the barrack. She is bleeding too much.”

”It will take too long.….can you sew her up here? We have medical supplies.” Yue’s mum suddenly added.

Qian nodded. ”Get me everything you have. Morphine or painkillers will do,”

She hurriedly came running with a huge box full of surgical stuff. Everything was there.

”A tray to disinfect the tools please, some hot water and cotton. Uncle please hold the cotton in these forceps and wipe it away when it drips down.”

He cleaned the surgical instruments and started to stich her up. the wound was deep and one of her arteries was damaged badly.

Qian was not taught all this. he only knew how to do basic stitches. ’it’s too late. This girl won’t survive even if we take her to the base.’

Gritting his teeth, he proceeded with the surgery.

He had dealt with cadavers before. Just thinking of this young girl as one, he performed the surgery.

The bleeding stopped right after he stitched up the artery. He closed the wound up.

He applied some healing cream and bandaged the wound. ”Lift her up. she needs rest.” He checked her pulse. It was normal. The girl’s eye movement was also normal.

”She’s good now. Just need to take good rest,” he lifted her up gently and placed her on the bed in one of the rooms.

Yue’s mum softly sobbed. ”Wei, Juda what are we going to do about her.. she said she was taken,”

”I’ll go check it out. Stay here. I’ll leave Peachey here.” Zou Wei took only blackie and walked out of the house.

”Uncle wait, I’ll come with you,” Qian ran after him. ”Aunty stay in. Don’t let anyone in. Don’t open the door, okay? Get some glucose and electrolyte in her if you can,”

They both hurriedly ran to the street.

There was a small trail of blood on the road.

Yue’s father frowned deeply. ”if we follow this, we can find where she was attacked.”

They followed the blood trail.

Right after they entered a nearby street a jeep drove past.

Yue excitedly hummed, drumming the steering wheel. ”Guys I’ll get off here. You guys can drive the jeep back to the base. Tian, say hi to Juda and Lui for me,”

”Sure,” Tian casually sat in the seat braiding her hair and cleaning up her face ready to meet her lover.

His eyes hurriedly searched for his house in the familiar street. Seeing the door firmly closed, he smiled.

The car stopped. He hopped off of the driver’s seat.

But right then, he noticed something...

There were bloody handprints on the front door.

”What....mum! dad!” he shouted hurriedly kicking on the door. ”mum! Mum! Dad! Open the door! Is everything okay! Are you hurt!!”
