Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2432: Chapter 2432 What are you doing?

“This servant wouldn’t dare, Miss. Shall I go fetch the wontons for you?”

She swallowed a mouthful of saliva, thinking that when she went to fetch the wontons later, she could secretly eat a few or drink a few sips of the soup, which would be quite nice.

After all, the Miss was too busy taking care of the two young masters to count how many wontons were in the bowl.

“Alright, go ahead and bring them over.”

An Jiuyue didn’t think that Lan’er would have such thoughts in her mind, so she gestured for her to go fetch them.

After all, she’s just a maid, it wouldn’t be right for her, the Miss, to do everything herself, and for a maid to do nothing at all.

“Yes, Miss.”

Lan’er happily went to the kitchen and saw the pot of wontons still steaming.

“How fragrant!”

She swallowed another mouthful of saliva and quickly picked up a large ladle, scooping all the wontons from the pot and placing them into a big bowl.

“So many wontons, can Miss finish all of them? I better eat a few more. Just now, washing those mushrooms took quite a bit of effort.” As she spoke, she picked up a spoon, scooped up a wonton, and blew on it a few times.

Then, she took a small bite.

“They’re really fragrant, but Miss is so stingy. Knowing I love to eat too, yet she makes so few, this one bowl isn’t even enough for me.”

While she was eating large mouthfuls of wontons, she quietly grumbled about An Jiuyue, completely unaware that someone had been standing at the kitchen door watching her for quite some time.

“What are you doing?”

An Jiuyue’s face darkened, asking in a cold voice at the person inside the kitchen.

If she hadn’t heard the mumblings, she might have thought the maid was just eating her own food. But now, clearly not, she was eating the Miss’s food—An Jiuyue’s food?

“Ah!”

Lan’er was so startled by the sudden voice that she let out a scream, and the large bowl in her hand fell to the floor with a crash.

She thought that since the Miss was in the room watching the two young masters, no one would catch her sneaking food in the kitchen, because she knew the secret guards were always at some distance. They would only appear when the Miss needed them.

But who would tell her why there was someone else in the treehouse?

“Who are you?”

“Lan’er, what are you doing?”

Two voices sounded at the same time. Hearing the commotion, An Jiuyue first called out before turning around, only to see two familiar faces standing in front of her.

“Big brother, sister-in-law, you’re back?”

She blinked, thinking she must be seeing things—these were her brother and sister-in-law, right?

“Jiuyue, we’re back.”

An Jiuyue first reached out and patted An Jiuyue’s shoulder, then turned her gaze back to the person inside the kitchen.

“Who is she to you, a maid serving you?” she asked.

An Jiuyue didn’t understand, took a few steps forward, glanced at Lan’er in the kitchen, and also noticed the broken bowl at her feet. Of course, she didn’t mind, if it was broken, she’d just make another serving later.

Moreover, since her brother and his wife were back, she’d definitely want to cook more dishes to welcome them.

“Yes, she’s my maid, Lan’er.”

“Maid!”

An Jiuyue’s face turned even darker.

A maid, eating the master’s food, and secretly criticizing the master?

At this moment, Lan’er was already too frightened to speak, her body trembling like a sieve, only daring to look down at the broken bowl of wontons on the floor.
