Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2425: Chapter 2425: What Does Third Brother Look Like?

”Miss, why are you standing here?”

An Jiuyue’s maid had not seen her mistress return by noon, so she came looking for her.

”Why did you come? Didn’t I ask you to stay home and look after the children?” An Jiuyue heard the maid’s voice, frowned slightly, and asked her.

”Fourth Young Master and Fifth Young Master are both asleep, so I came to look for you. Don’t worry, Miss, the secret guards are watching over them, nothing will happen.” The maid replied.

”Let’s go back.”

Of course, An Jiuyue was not at ease, so she quickly lifted her foot, ready to return to the treehouse.

The Fourth Young Master and Fifth Young Master mentioned by the maid are Yi Zhou and Yi Xing. These two children especially love to cry, and when they were in the capital, they would cry for several hours a day.

No matter how many batches of servants were changed to care for them, it was of no use. They invited physicians and even the imperial physicians to take a look, but nothing worked.

Later, it was when they listened to the older generation suggest that maybe the children were yearning for their parents, that she decided to have the two little ones return to An Clan Village to live in the treehouse.

It turned out to be true, ever since they stayed in the treehouse, Xiao Zhou and Xiao Xing stopped crying and slept soundly every day.

Though they’ve grown quite a bit now and no longer cry wherever they go, she is reluctant to leave this place, as she has already grown accustomed to living here.

If she had to return to the bustling and splendid capital, she might not get used to it.

...

”Oh, Xiao Zhou, Xiao Xing, you’re awake?”

Back at the treehouse, she saw the children who were supposed to be asleep already awake, sitting on the bed looking at the books in their hands.

”Little Aunt.”

The two little ones saw An Jiuyue return and placed their books aside, rushing toward her.

Nearly five-year-old children are already quite sensible. With An Jiuyue teaching them, they have learned many characters and have quick minds, memorizing texts swiftly. In their free time, they don’t play but read books.

”Little Aunt, you’ve gone gathering mushrooms again? Next time Xiao Xing will go with you.”

”I’ll go too, Little Aunt, I’ll accompany you too. We’ll gather lots and lots of mushrooms, and wildflowers too. There must be many wildflowers on the mountains.”

”Alright, you can accompany Little Aunt.”

An Jiuyue sat at the bedside, holding the two little ones in her arms, one on each side.

These two children are practically raised by her. Sometimes she thinks, does it matter if she doesn’t get married? Bringing up the children like this is quite good too.

But she also thinks about their parents, her brother and sister-in-law, who are prominent figures. It’s not good to keep them in this small place forever.

They should have a broader world to explore.

”Xiao Zhou, Xiao Xing, you’ve grown up too. When will Little Aunt take you back to the capital to see your Third Brother, okay?”

There is still An Yilu in the capital. He is a bit older than the two little ones and studying diligently at Ding Nuo Academy. At only six years old, he is already keeping up with the teenage students at the academy.

Every time she hears such news, she can’t help but marvel if her sister-in-law specifically picked smart children when adopting them back in the day, because each one is incomparable to others.

”To see Third Brother? What’s Third Brother like?”

The two little ones have always heard about Third Brother, but they don’t remember what he looks like at all.

After all, when An Jiuyue brought them here, they were still swaddled infants, what could they remember? Naturally, they remember nothing at all.
