Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2216: Chapter 2216: A Tiny Lick

“This is workable.”

An Jiuyue nodded. Now that the little baby has life-saving medicinal pills at hand, she felt she had nothing left to worry about.

“I’ll refine the pills into the size of mung beans, so we can store a few more.” She said.

“Alright.”

Qian Jiyun also thought this was a good idea.

However, seeing their little fool still battling with the little golden box in his hands, he began to wonder if putting medicinal pills in the box might be a bit unreliable.

“This little fool… would he crack the box open and eat the pills like jellybeans?”

He couldn’t help but doubt it. Given their little baby’s current appetite, it was entirely possible for him to do something like that.

“He’s not going to stay a little munchkin forever; he’ll grow up eventually, you know.” An Jiuyue reminded him.

After all, he’s still young now. Once he’s a bit older and more sensible, he won’t stuff everything into his mouth anymore. He’ll soon be able to distinguish between medicine and snacks.

“I’ll redeem a Qiankun Bag from the Points Mall and use it to store his snacks, then.”

She thought about it and figured her son would need to carry some snacks with him. Otherwise, if he kept grabbing random things to eat, trouble would come sooner or later.

“That works.”

Qian Jiyun responded while giving the little baby a firm pat on his little backside.

“Ah-ha?”

The little baby was so engrossed in his struggle with the little golden box that he was taken by surprise when he got swatted. His round, innocent eyes lifted, gazing up at his father with a confused look.

“Little Nuonuo, was the lemon tasty?” Qian Jiyun asked his son.

Hearing this, the little baby tilted his head in thought, recalling how his mother had told him that the thing he’d been nibbling on earlier was a lemon. That sour taste was unforgettable—a truly “unique” experience and definitely not tasty at all.

He shook his little head vigorously, not saying anything, and went back to battling the little box in his hands.

“Stop messing with it already. This little golden box can’t be opened, and even if you do open it, it’s filled with red, spicy chili peppers. Nothing good in there!” Qian Jiyun finally couldn’t bear watching anymore and blurted it out.

The little baby’s small hands paused in their fight with the little golden box. He looked doubtfully at his father, then down at the box in his hands.

Then, he did something neither of his parents had anticipated.

The couple watched as the little baby stuck out his small, red tongue and brought the little golden box to his lips, giving it a tiny lick.

“Lying to your own child! Bad Daddy!”

Not tasting anything, he puffed his little cheeks and pouted at his father, accusing him in his childish voice.

Qian Jiyun & An Jiuyue: “…”

Did they perhaps give birth to a tiny fool? How could their little baby be so utterly adorable?

“This is a bit of a headache.”

An Jiuyue pressed her palm against her forehead.

She couldn’t help but wonder—what if one day someone claimed that the little golden box contained poison? Would their little baby be curious enough to lick it to see what it tasted like?

“This won’t do. It won’t do at all. From now on, we can’t just leave things in the space. It has to stay with us.”

Only if they kept things by their side could they properly teach their little baby what he could and couldn’t do. Otherwise, he’d simply follow his whims as he pleased, like now.

“It’s better to keep it with us in the future.”

Qian Jiyun understood what An Jiuyue was worried about and offered some comfort.

The little baby truly had a knack for staying quiet until he did something outrageous. His courage was extraordinary—almost unnerving!

“Little Nuonuo, you can’t taste this, and you definitely can’t eat it. This is a toy, meant for playing.” He decided to start teaching now. Even though his little baby mostly ignored his teaching,

there were lessons that had to be taught anyway.
