Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2072: Chapter 2072: Illnesses Caused by Eating

We’re almost at our destination, and he hardly knows anything about the Silent Snow Plane. This time he’ll have to take a good look and find a few people to ask about the Xue Family, there’s bound to be something to be found.

“Go tell the two lords before leaving,” he said.

…

That night, as they were preparing to travel, Yuu Rong discovered that Leng Yikun was curled up in bed. Although he made no sound, Yuu Rong still noticed.

Because they needed to be on their way to Tufeng Cliff.

“What’s wrong?”

He straightened Leng Yikun’s body and looked at his pale complexion.

At first glance, something was not right—he must be sick. But why like this? There hadn’t been any issues all along the journey. Why had it turned into this upon arrival here?

And this morning, everything seemed fine, and he hadn’t noticed anything unusual about Leng Yikun.

“I’m not…”

Leng Yikun covered his stomach with one hand, trying to say he was fine, but Yuu Rong was quicker.

“I’ll go get sister-in-law.”

Seeing him like this, Yuu Rong immediately thought to bring An Jiuyue over. This young master, they had to be extra careful with him now, not a single bit of negligence was allowed.

“Wait, I just…”

Leng Yikun tried to stop him after he’d spoken but couldn’t catch him in time.

He just wanted to say that the local food was too disagreeable for him, causing his stomach condition to flare up. There was nothing else, why didn’t Yuu Rong wait for him to finish speaking?

…

In the room, after An Jiuyue took Leng Yikun’s pulse, she withdrew her hand.

“Did you eat the food from the Silent Snow Plane?”

She looked at Leng Yikun and asked.

“Mhmm.”

Leng Yikun replied.

He hadn’t anticipated that simply eating some food would cause such stomach pain that he’d want to curl up completely.

“I only ate a little, not much at all.”

He further defended himself, which was indeed less compared to Yuu Rong.

“Ah?”

Only then did Yuu Rong realize what was going on.

“Is this an illness caused by the food?”

He was shocked, as he himself had eaten a lot without any issues. Leng Yikun only ate a bit more, and he ended up sick?

However, considering Leng Yikun’s life-long frailty and very particular diet, it was not so strange after all. The food from this plane tastes good, but it is indeed quite challenging to eat.

Hearing this, An Jiuyue glanced up at Yuu Rong.

“Did you forget something?” she asked softly.

“What thing?”

Yuu Rong asked blankly. Did he forget something?

“Oh, I understand now. I won’t take Yi Kun to eat outside anymore; it’s too unsafe.” He hurriedly made a promise.

He must be cautious about diet, not letting his own cravings bring harm to Leng Yikun.

Hearing his statement, Qian Jiyun took a deep breath.

“Yuu Rong, you are a pharmacist!” he reminded his foolish younger brother.

What a fine pharmacist, indeed. Faced with a patient, his first thought wasn’t to examine the patient himself but to look for someone else. What kind of practice is that?

“Eh.”

Yuu Rong’s face turned crimson with embarrassment.

He was too anxious at the time, only thinking of the formidable sister-in-law and forgetting for the moment that he himself was a pharmacist, capable of treating Leng Yikun.

“This… it slipped my mind for a moment, sorry about that. I’ll remember it from now on, and I won’t forget it again.”

The three of Qian Jiyun: “…”

Why are they finding it so hard to believe?

Especially Leng Yikun, recalling how Yuu Rong had hurried out to find An Jiuyue, probably already cast the fact that he was a pharmacist to the back of his mind, didn’t he?
