Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2065: Chapter 2065 A Bunch of Silly… Distinguished Guests!

He’s encountered some wealthy customers, Sky Snow Silk clothes, and they’re asking for several sets from the get-go?

Even the wealthiest people he’s met don’t buy Sky Snow Silk clothes like this; they haggle, hesitate, and after much deliberation, they might just end up ordering one piece. That’s quite common indeed.

“Um… dear customers, since Sky Snow Silk is extremely precious, our shop only has three bolts available. You are asking for several sets at once, and we really can’t meet such demand.”

Qian Jiyun and his companions: “…”

It turns out they didn’t even have the clothes they wanted.

“Big brother, let’s make clothes for sister-in-law using the Sky Snow Silk, and we can use something else,” Yuu Rong whispered to Qian Jiyun as he leaned closer.

Qian Jiyun glanced sideways at him.

Isn’t that obvious? The good stuff should naturally be considered for his own wife first. Could it be that Yuu Rong thinks he would favor his younger brother with the best items?

“We’ll take all three bolts of Sky Snow Silk and make them into women’s clothing; the three of us will take Ice Lotus Silk instead,” he said.

“Ah, alright.”

Upon hearing this, the shopkeeper was overjoyed.

They didn’t even bother to bargain and settled on such a large order; this was certainly a huge deal. Since he had opened this ready-to-wear shop, he had never encountered such a group of foolish… distinguished customers!

After they agreed on the number of clothes needed, Qian Jiyun paid a deposit.

“When can we pick up the clothes?” Yuu Rong asked the shopkeeper.

“This many clothes, if my embroideresses do the sewing, it would take about two days; two days should be enough,” the shopkeeper calculated.

“No,”

Leng Yikun frowned and shook his head.

“We will be leaving at night; please hire a few more embroideresses to expedite making our clothes. Otherwise, we’ll just take one set each.”

As he spoke, he turned his head and looked at Qian Jiyun.

“Sir, we are always on our way to the next town, and we can also buy clothes there, what do you think?” he asked.

“That’s fine.”

Qian Jiyun nodded in agreement.

“Ah, don’t worry.”

How could the shopkeeper be happy to hear that? It took such effort to gain this business.

“You need them by tonight, but that’s okay. I can find a few more embroideresses to sew the clothes in time.”

This is a significant amount of income, how could he let it slip by? Having a chance to earn money and not taking it would be foolish, isn’t it just about hiring a few more embroideresses and paying a few more copper coins?

“Oh, so it turns out it can be done after all,” Yuu Rong remarked sarcastically, looking at the shopkeeper.

“Uh.”

The shopkeeper choked on his words.

“Dear customers, it’s not that it can’t be done. Indeed, my shop only has two embroideresses, but if the customers are in urgent need, I can hire a few more from outside to sew the clothes.

Generally, shops run by families won’t go outside to hire workers.”

They are all family businesses, a few family members manage a shop, and of course, there’s no need to hire external embroideresses unless there’s an urgent job.

However, he had never taken such urgent orders all year round because for ordinary fabric clothes, an embroideress could make several pieces a day.

Only for this Ice Lotus Silk clothing, which is too delicate, a tiny mistake is unacceptable, and it can only be done slowly.

Moreover, not every customer who comes in orders so much Ice Lotus Silk clothing; most families come in to buy just one or two pieces, even that would be considered generous.
