Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 1946: Chapter 1946: Not Afraid of Us

“Yes, everyone, don’t be afraid. Even if it’s powerful, it’s still a demonic beast. Isn’t it just taking advantage of the fact that we can’t see during Eternal Night Time? Just because we can’t see doesn’t mean we’re necessarily weaker than those demonic beasts. Pick up your Swords and let’s fight it.”

When facing death, the burst of strength is often very powerful. With everyone’s courage bolstered, no one was afraid anymore. Feeling a shadow rushing towards them, they would raise their Swords and strike, even if they couldn’t harm the demonic beasts at all. But at least, they could make the beasts retreat obediently, right?

And so, the battle between the demonic beasts and humans began, and for a while, it was quite a heated struggle.

Just when everyone was ready to go all out in a fight with the demonic beasts, suddenly, the surroundings quieted down. Those beasts that were attacking the crowd seemed to have disappeared without a trace, their ferocious roars no longer to be heard.

“They ran away?”

“Did we scare the demonic beasts off?”

...
Everyone couldn’t believe it. The demonic beasts that had been following them, wanting to eat them, were scared off by them?

Why did it feel so unreal? Just moments ago, the premonition of death was so pressing, so how did it suddenly vanish without a trace?

“Could it be preparing a powerful attack? Everyone be vigilant, and don’t give the demonic beasts a chance!” An elder, with a thought, cautioned everyone.

No matter what, they couldn’t give those man-eating demonic beasts an opportunity. With so many people, even if they couldn’t gain the upper hand, they couldn’t let their own people get hurt again.

Reminded by the elder, everyone became jittery, and their alertness increased as they looked around nervously.

Planning to alert everyone the moment there was any movement.

However, after waiting for a while, they no longer felt the oppressive sense of a demonic beast attack approaching. Instead, the surroundings became much more relaxed, and everyone suddenly found it strange.

It was at this time that a strange voice came from not far away.

“Brother, sister-in-law, what exactly were those things just now? Why do I feel like they were afraid of us?” Yuu Rong’s voice was heard. He hadn’t seen what those things were either.

But he had a feeling that those creatures had run away en masse because of their arrival.

If they hadn’t come, this group of people in front of them would probably be in real trouble, and it was possible that none would be spared. It was like they had indirectly saved these people.

“So, it means we saved them, right?”

“No.”

Qian Jiyun spoke softly.

“No?”

Yuu Rong, holding a Light Crystal, furrowed his brows.

Why did he feel that was the case? If they hadn’t arrived, would there be any survivors among this group?

Although he didn’t see what those things looked like, he too had felt a bit of that domineering oppressive sensation.

Moreover, as they traveled, although they occasionally felt something was watching them, nothing had overtly attacked them.

Therefore, he had come to a conclusion early on—these things hiding in the dark were afraid of them.

“They’re not afraid of us, but of one of us.” Qian Jiyun said.

“Uh.”

Yuu Rong felt choked by his words.

Alright, including himself was a bit of self-inflation.

“So, brother, are they afraid of you?”

“Heh.”

Qian Jiyun chuckled lightly, without answering his question.

“This is indeed interesting.”
