Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 1945: Chapter 1945: Feels Like More Than One

He had to stay vigilant, or else he would give the demonic beast a chance.

“Exactly, young master, it’s those damned things that won’t let us live, what does it have to do with you? Once we fight our way back, we must have the Old Sect Master dispose of those filthy creatures!”

Another man also spoke.

“Everyone, don’t get agitated. Leng Er and Leng San, use poison at the first sign of trouble. Leng Liu and Leng Jiu, keep an eye on the movements outside. There should only be one demonic beast, and we must not give it the chance to get close to us again.”

The elder instructed the huddled group.

As long as they stood firm, even if the demonic beast ate people, it would not be their match.

...
At the very least, they wouldn’t let it gnaw on a single one of their bones!

“Hiss, hiss.”

The beastly roar suddenly changed to another sound, resembling that of a snake, making everyone’s hair stand on end with fear.

The more faint-hearted were trembling, their eyes darting around, unable to find a focal point, incessantly swallowing their saliva.

Even so, they dared not relax in the slightest, afraid that their own relaxation would create a gap in their united front.

With their perception blocked, they could only see and hear within a three-meter radius. They followed the elder’s words, slowly moving their feet, walking forward.

The light from the torches in their hands flickered with the breeze, casting sharp shadows, reflecting the fear in everyone’s hearts.

At that moment, the Light Crystal in their hands seemed useless, darkness pressing in all around, their hearts engulfed in blackness.

Suddenly, a dark shadow attacked from a certain direction.

The person, as if sensing it, let out a cry of alarm, and at the same time, the sword in his companion’s hand cleaved towards the shadow.

Only the sound of ‘crackling’ was heard, the shadow retreated after being struck, without letting out a scream of pain.

Soon after, another person was ambushed in the same manner. Just like before, with the help of a nearby person, the man-eating demonic beast gained no advantage over them.

Time passed amidst such stealth attacks, and the group groped their way down the path, without the shadows gaining any upper hand on them.

After enduring for a long time, they were nearly reaching the next small town.

The shadow knew that if they reached the next town, it would really gain no advantage.

How could it give up on so much ready meat? So in the end, it finally launched a full-scale attack, with several shadows charging in different directions.

“Everyone, be careful!”

The elder shouted, and quickly, due to the shadow’s attack, the previously composed team began to panic again.

“How many demonic beasts are there? It feels like there’s more than one,” someone questioned.

There were definitely more than one. They had been attacked in several places, and the raging roars of the demonic beasts were different from before, as if intent on obliterating their entire team.

Was this the demonic beast getting angry?

But what of its anger? Surely, just because they knew the demonic beast was angry, they wouldn’t just foolishly offer up their heads, right?

“To hell with it, what’s there to be afraid of? If it dares to make a move, let’s fight back together and kill it without leaving a single piece of armor,” someone bellowed.
