Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!

Chapter 377: Chapter 377 - Marrying Dimitri - Eieneos Style

After my hour-long meeting with Touya, we both teleported back to my palace for dinner with the other people currently living there. I am quite sure the other guy chose to teleport right in the middle of the living room to boast about his swollen lip but as for me, I have to prioritize something else. I teleported right inside my room to take a bath and clean up my body from any lingering scent from my previous tryst with Touya.

After about a quarter of an hour, I slowly made my way down to the lowest floor to have dinner. While alighting the stairs, I caught side of Dimitri’s standing with his back facing me. He looked restless pacing back and forth at the base of the stairs seemingly waiting for... Oh! He should be waiting for me, isn’t he?

I stealthily made my way down the stairs and when he was just a step away from him, I jumped and hugged him tightly around his waist from behind and covered his mouth with my other hand as I whisked him away to the room of beginnings. I also sent a telepathic message to my father to make it quick so we can complete everything before dinner.

As we reappeared right in front of the door of the room of beginnings, I finally let go of Dimitri who just finished his muffled scream a few seconds ago. He briskly turned around and started running after me. I purposely let him hit my back a few times while scolding me while I just ran back and forth the corridor laughing. This was the scene that my parents saw when they arrived.

My mother coughed to get our attention and the both of us stopped running. My father, not able to take his curiosity asked us, ”What is this running around all about? I thought we had something we need to do urgently.”

I looked away still giggling, not intending to explain. Dimitri stared at me wide-eyed then to my parents. He then softly recounted what happened from the time he was waiting for me at the base of the stairs and me grabbing then whisking him away here which scared him to death.

In reaction to the very detailed story that Dimitri recounted, my mother shook her head with a smile on my face. While my father was laughing while saying that I am very similar to my mother when they were younger. She liked whisking away my father randomly for quick trysts.

I smiled meaningfully at my parents and then looked at Dimitri with great fervor in my eyes after hearing such a great idea. Dimitri looked at me nervously and he even stepped back twice to maintain some distance between us. I giggled at his reaction as he stepped back a few more times.

My father broke our teasing session by inviting us inside the room of beginnings. I think I have told Dimitri about the ritual before but I have forgotten to tell him about this place so this should be another surprise for him today.

As the doors were opened and the four of us entered the room, I could see Dimitri’s eyes wander around the area. It looked old and dilapidated at first since my father has not enabled the runes yet. We all continued walking until we reached the only black stone stele in the middle of the empty looking room.

My father went down to business immediately and gone was his goofy attitude as he completed the work that he was assigned to do. He started educating Dimitri about the history of our people and what is expected of an official consort of the queen. Once all the knowledge and expectations have been imparted, my father asked for Dimitri’s hand and placed his palm on the surface of the stele. The golden runes started lighting up from the place where the stone stele was as it radiated outwards till the whole floor, the walls and even the ceiling was filled with the runes.

Dimitri’s mouth was agape as he saw the magical scene that also took my breath away the first time I saw it. He then saw a ring with my family crest on it appear on his right index finger out of nowhere which made him gasp as his soul connected to mine. He looked back to where I was standing and he gave me a sweet smile.

After the ritual, the other magical tools inside the room of beginnings were activated. We gave Dimitri a tour around the now grandiose and magical room while telling him what each tool or machine was for. My father simplified many of the things by giving them very direct names such as ”seed bank”, ”milk maker” and ”orb incubator”. Well, they make things easier to remember too, I guess.

Lastly, I showed Dimitri how the other option for making children looks like and how it works. He looked closely at the orbs that are resting inside the incubators. I identified the race from which each child is from. I also told him that if he preferred, we can also keep our children here as an option. He looked at me as if I said something ridiculous and declared that he would carry our child to term.

I raised my hands up and told him that it was just an option and he will still be the one deciding how to go about with his future pregnancies. When he heard that I am giving him the choice on how to go about it, he visibly calmed down.

Now that the ritual has been completed, Dimitri finally looked happy and contented. Gone was his sulking and scowling face earlier when he requested to go back to the palace on his own. We went down with his hand in mine to eat dinner with everyone else at the dining hall.

When the four of us arrived at the dining hall, everyone else was already waiting and seated. All the food has been served and it stayed warm with no issues due to magic spells casted on them. My cute babies are currently sitting in their customized baby chairs that were made based on the memory on what mothers used for their children back on earth. It is no longer a surprise that my children have already started eating earlier than expected when they already know how to teleport with no issues.

The table was quite noisy with a lot of people blabbering at the same time. The children are just happily giggling as their father took his time to play with them while waiting for the dinner to start. As usual, it seems like Touya really paraded his swollen lips for everyone to see. The reaction he was vying for was clear to see on the faces of Luxiel, Samir and Altair as they looked at my direction with questioning glances when I arrived at the dining hall.

Ioannis clearly heard what the other four were arguing about but he ignored it and kept himself busy with the twins. Dimitri stared at Touya’s face, specifically on his lips for a few seconds but ignored it. He simply took a seat next to me and observed all the food that is currently on the table. I also took a seat as if their issue has nothing to do with me.

Samir scoffed and angrily looked away. I guess he was the one that was most affected by Touya’s bragging since everyone knows that it would be his turn next but suddenly, a newcomer and the youngest swooped in and got kissed till his lips were red and swollen, In this light, I totally understand where all his annoyance comes from.

All the noise died down, now that everyone was here. The meal was surprisingly quiet as each one of them ate a bit and excused themselves to go back to their territories. Samir looked like he anted to talk but he knew that this was not the proper time. He also left and went back to his own room in the palace. My parents went back with Ioannis and the twins so Dimitri and I ended up as the only ones left at the table.

(Author’s Note: The other three mystique fiancés have their own rooms in the palace too but their pride is stopping them from using it since they believe it is improper since they aren’t married to Luna yet.)

Dimitri stared at me as if wondering why everyone left in a hurry. I smiled at him naughtily and he immediately realized why as he suddenly stood up from his chair. He bolted out of the dining hall and went straight up the stairs. I shook my head as I realized that he totally forgot I could freely teleport.

I teleported out of the dining hall and reappeared at the based of the stairs. I saw him running with all his might up the stairs. I teleported again and this time I was only a few steps behind me as I grabbed him by the waist again with my hand on his mouth as I whisked him away, a muffled scream echoing in the middle of the palace hall. This time, I will make sure to keep him entangled with me inside that room with a red door. After I am done with him, he wouldn’t even have the energy to even stand, much less run away like this.
