Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!

Chapter 355: Chapter 355 - Last step to make it official (Part 8)

The next morning after the eventful night with Helios, as expected, he opted to stay in his room. I decided to request for the breakfast to be served to him in bed as well. Before I left him to eat my own breakfast with the others, I made sure he has been well fed, bathed and healed up. The only thing left of what happened last time were the marks on his skin that I purposely left behind.

I was about a quarter of an hour late for breakfast and earn confused looks from everybody around the dining table. I ignored those looks, greeted everybody a ”good morning” and started eating.

After about half an hour since the breakfast have been served, somebody finally voiced out the question running in their hands as they asked where Helios was and why he is not at the dining table eating with us. Since the question was raised to no one in particular, I just continued eating as if I did not hear it.

Eventually, one of the attendants who is in charge of serving meals replied to the question that has been hanging around the dining table for several minutes. The attendant nonchalantly replied that Helios opted to sleep in a bit more and have his meal served in his bedroom today.

From the looks on the other people’s faces, they seemed to be totally confused but simply let it go since some people just have those days I guess. After the meal, I stood up, gave my men a brief kiss on the lips each and went my way back to my room.

I planned to use my free time doing some reading, experiments and manufacturing items in my room. I would need to get out unless it was for the meals so I have set a goal to make most of my free time for my other important tasks.

Helios decided to have all meals served in his room today. I decided not to visit him throughout the day so he can rest as much as he wanted. I also do not want the others to figure out that it was my fault why he did not get out of bed or meet anybody.

Lunch and dinner came so quickly that before I knew it, it was evening again. It was my time to fulfill some of my nightly duties to the next husband on the list. It was one night early based on the earlier schedule but it was Calyx’s turn tonight.

I waited till it was about an hour after we went back to our respective room after finishing lunch before I knocked on Calyx’s bedroom door. Unlike Helios, I heard Calyx hurry from the inside of his room to answer the door. Once he opened it and saw me, he froze and his face was full of confusion. He seemed to want to ask why I am here but his mouth was just agape and did not have the courage to ask it.

I smiled at him and asked, ”May I come in and stay here for the night?” It took him several seconds to react to my question as he absentmindedly nodded his head. He opened the door a little bit wider and let me in.

Once we are inside the room he finally asked a question, ”Umm... I am not saying you are not welcome here but is it not supposed to be Helios’ turn tonight? I think you visited the wrong room or was the order of visits changed without me knowing about it?”

I laughed a bit and answered teasingly, ”I know the map of the whole palace. Do you think I will get the rooms I knocked on wrong? As for Helios, he already had his turn last night.”

He looked at me for several seconds and I saw his face changed in to one of surprise with his mouth forming an ”oh” as the realization set it. He nodded his head, looked down and murmured softly, ”That explains why he did not come out of his room the whole day.”

I cut his train of though before his imagination runs wild and asked, ”Don’t think about the others. Tonight is about you so the question is, are you ready to be with me tonight?”

His head snapped at attention and looked at me after he heard my question. He realized at an instant how loaded my simply worded question was. He stared at me and his face turned red gradually. For someone who has been facing a lot of people as Aurum’s head butler, he has turned mute in front of me.

He nodded once again and then slowly pointed to the bathroom. He murmured, ”I will take a shower first” then slowly walked away from me. He seemed to be very distracted as he stumbled on his way to opening the bathroom door.

I followed him to the bathroom to make sure he doesn’t fall down or hurt himself from being too flustered and absentminded. He even left the door open as if inviting me to watch him bathe.

I just stood at the door while he hurriedly removed all of his clothes and tossed them on the floor. Instead of using the tub, he went under the shower and scrubbed himself frantically as if making sure he is clean. He scrubbed too much that his skin has turned red. I had to grab his wrist to stop him from hurting himself.

I called his name and assured, ”You are just fine as you are. You don’t have to scrub that hard. Your skin has turned red. Don’t you feel that your skin has started to sting?”

His shoulders jumped as he felt me grab his wrist and heard me call his name. He then looked at his arms and chest that he has been rubbing so hard a while ago. When he saw they were red, he started to tear up and murmur, ”I am so sorry. I- I was a concubine’s son so- My mother always said that I was dirty so I thought- I needed to- I don’t want you to dislike me. I just-”

I held the back of my neck as I felt my blood pressure going up my head in anger. How much abuse did he get from his mother that he thought he was dirty and no woman would want him just because he was born from a concubine?

I pulled Calyx out from the shower and wrapped him up in a robe. He obediently followed me while I was pulling him out of the bathroom. I sat him on the edge of the bed, grabbed his face with both my hands and looked him straight in the eyes.

I started the little pep talk he needs the most right now by saying, ”Calyx, you are not dirty. Your mother is wrong and you know yourself that she was a bad person. You should not listen to anything she says. You listen to me from now on, okay?”

He looked at me intensely and I saw him nod his head once. I smiled at him and praised him for smelling so good after his bath. He smiled a little bit but I know that it will take a lot more than just this pep talk to fix such mental trauma.

I changed the topic and told him that I already took my own shower back in my room so that I do not need to do it in his room. I kissed him gently on the lips out of the blue and I felt him stiffen in surprise.

I chuckled a bit at his reaction and teased him that he has to get used to kissing me from now on. I saw him licking his lower lip slowly with his tongue as he smiled as if he received an amazing gift. He then whispered, ”Can I have more?”

Since my goal is to take care of him tonight, I gave him what he requested. I kissed him gently again and he slowly copied how I did it. After a few minutes, the kisses became more possessive and intense. I waited patiently for him as he learned how to kiss me back and get used to the intensity. Eventually, my tongue slipped in between his lips which he welcomed with no qualms and before I knew it, he was matching my pace.

As he was focusing on learning the nuances on the different kind of kisses, I slowly untied his robe and undressed him. I don’t know when but we ended up lying on the bed with me on top of him. As for his hands, he did not know where he put it so he simply grabbed on to the sheets tightly.

I paused the kiss a bit and whispered to Calyx, ”I want to see and taste every part of you. Would you let me?” He nodded almost immediately but in a very shy manner. He then whispered back, ”I’m all yours from now on. You don’t have to ask for my permission every time.”
