Chapter 110: Chapter 88: Super Vinewhip!

Such an adorable and petite Pokémon, yet why does it use such ferocious moves?!

The Miltank felt a wave of confusion, bewilderment, and doubt about life.

Meanwhile, Naoki fell into deep thought.

Was that move just now Frenzy Plant? Or Power Whip?

But upon considering the descriptions of those two moves, Naoki felt that it resembled neither. Instead, it seemed more like an extreme manifestation of Vine Whip.

”Perhaps it’s influenced by the abundant Grass Type energy inside the Skiddo,” Naoki speculated in his mind.

A quantitative change leads to a qualitative change.

Looking at the three glowing Skiddo, Naoki sensed they were on the verge of evolving.

The glow might be a sign of their imminent evolution.

Having accumulated substantial Grass Type energy during their Skiddo phase, Naoki couldn’t even fathom the level they would achieve once they evolved into Gogoat.

Gradually, the Grass Type energy inside the Skiddo depleted, and the green glow on them began to fade away.

Only then did Naoki tell them the purpose of coming here.

He glanced at the Miltank beside him and introduced: ”This is Miltank, who just arrived at the ranch yesterday and hasn’t adapted to the environment here yet. I entrust it to you for care.”

”Meeh!”

The three Skiddo happily accepted the task.

They will surely take good care of their new companion!

”Mm, very good.”

Naoki nodded in satisfaction.

After entrusting the Miltank to the Skiddo, Naoki planned to head to town and inquire about the availability of an automatic milking machine.

If not, with more Miltank coming in, milking them would take up several hours of his time.

With this thought in mind, Naoki placed the tools back in the storeroom and saw Cyclizar in the grass field chasing butterflies.

Upon seeing this, he approached and said, ”Cyclizar, accompany me to town.”

Cyclizar paused and obediently lay on the ground, transforming into its motorbike form.

”Gaa-oo~”

Just as Naoki was about to ride it, he suddenly heard a loud roar.

”Ah-ga-si!”

Naoki and Cyclizar turned their heads and saw Koraidon appear there at some unknown time.

It ran over aggressively, but upon getting closer, appeared quite aggrieved, and accused, ”Ah-ga-si!”

Naoki: ”...”

Only then did he remember that he rode Cyclizar yesterday, which means today it should be Koraidon’s turn.

Naoki slapped his forehead and apologized with a smile, ”Sorry, with so much going on at the ranch, I forgot.”

”Ah-ga-si!” You’re forgiven!

Since Koraidon was transporting milk earlier, it changed from its sprinting form to its battle form for convenience.

Now, to escort Naoki to town, it switched back, showed a domineering signal to Naoki to get on, and turned around.

While Naoki climbed on, Cyclizar showed a disappointed expression.

”Gaa-oo...”

Naoki: ”...”

At this moment, Naoki was immensely grateful that Dragonite wasn’t as clingy as Cyclizar and Koraidon; otherwise, choosing between three modes of transportation would have been no easy feat.

Maybe this is the annoyance of having too many Pokémon around?

Luckily, he didn’t have any Pokémon obsessed enough to try and monopolize their trainer, which would be a true disaster.

For now, Naoki could still barely manage everything.

Faced with Cyclizar’s disappointment, Naoki consoled it for a while until it spirited back up and went off to catch butterflies in the grass.

Naoki sat on Koraidon, sapped of energy, and said, ”I’m about to work myself to death.”

Koraidon moved its sturdy paws and began to run towards Porto Marinada Town.

Upon hearing this, it turned its head, ”Ah-ga-si?”

”Koraidon, do you think humans could learn Double Team?” Naoki mused aloud.

Some people say humans in this world are actually a type of Pokémon, right?

And there have been instances of humans marrying and having children with Pokémon...

So scary.

Regarding this matter, Naoki could only suggest that although one’s preferences are their own, it might be a good idea to consult a doctor.

Even Koraidon couldn’t offer a definitive answer to such a question.

However, Naoki was merely asking and didn’t take it to heart.

At present, his attention was more focused on his arms.

Busy with ranch work daily, drinking high-calorie milk, and eating sizzling, oily steak had considerably increased his weight compared to when he first crossed over.

Long-term assistance with milking the Skiddo effectively trained his arm muscles, making Naoki feel that at this rate, he might turn into a burly countryside farmer.

Just then, a boy wearing a baseball cap with a Fuecoco perched on his shoulder ran past on the roadside.

Oddly enough, are young people nowadays able to run with their heads held high, not watching the road?

Naoki turned back to watch his energetic demeanor and couldn’t help but sigh: Time races on, and alas, he’s no longer a youth!

————

”Xiao Dai, did you see something run past just now?”

The boy in the baseball cap halted, slightly puzzled, and turned back to look down the country road.

The Fuecoco on his shoulder opened its mouth, releasing a wisp of flame from its nostrils.

”Strange, was it just an illusion?” Muping muttered, then refocused his attention on the leisurely flying Fletchling: ”Oh well, better prioritize chasing Fletchling!”

Fletchling, the Tiny Robin Pokemon, is Normal and Flying type, with Talonflame as its ultimately handsome evolution.

Today marks the third day since Muping set off from Orange Academy, encountering this dear Fletchling during his travels in Porto Marinada Town.

Fond of Talonflame, he pursued this Fletchling here.

This country road exuded rustic charm, with sparse trees and grass lining its path.

While some Pokémon waywardly inhabited there, Muping was uninterested, focusing solely on that Fletchling.

At this moment, Fletchling perch itself on a large tree.

Witnessing this, excitement surged within Muping.

He, disregarding his gasps for air, exclaimed, ”What a chance! Fuecoco, use Ember!”

With the command set, Fuecoco aimed, concentrating a flame in its mouth, then shooting it towards Fletchling.

”Swish!”

Ember missed, and the noise alerted Fletchling, causing it to quickly scrutinize its surroundings before flapping its wings to fly off.

”Ah! I failed!”

Biting his lip, Muping felt a pang of discouragement.

Still, images of him gliding on a majestic Talonflame across the Paldea Region uplifted him anew.

Continuing the chase!

With Fuecoco in tow, Muping dashed ahead.

Soon, a ranch enclosed by fences appeared in the distance.

Fletchling flew inside, perching atop a wooden house.

Muping halted at the ranch gates, gazing upward where the plaque read ”Naoki Ranch.”

Looking further in, he saw a Pokémon using Rain Dance beside the field.

Gazing at its silhouette, Muping’s eyes widened in disbelief.

That’s... Dragonite?!
