Picking Up a Gorgeous CEO for a Wife

Chapter 1114: Chapter 1114: One Side of the Story

Su Ziyan, you little vixen, floundering now, are you?

Su Ziyan’s expression remained calm, as she said in a deep voice, “My dear uncle, anything is possible before it actually happens! Let’s discuss the matter of the new chairman at tomorrow’s board meeting then!

Let’s move on to the next item on the agenda. Vice Chairman Tian, what is the second issue you wish to raise?”

Tian Peng did not want to have a falling out with Su Ziyan, but she had shown him no respect. Last night, his brother-in-law had complained to his sister!

After being berated by his wife, Tian Peng put all the blame on Su Ziyan’s head! Tian Peng said solemnly, “Miss Su, the second issue is about you.

At the time, I was the one who recommended you for the position of Executive President, but as it turns out, I was wrong, terribly wrong!

I suggest that Miss Su be removed from her position as Executive President!”

The whole meeting room suddenly fell silent! Damn, this was going to be a showdown!

Only Su Xinglei and Yang Qian knew what was going on. Su Xinglei gave Yang Qian a look, and Yang Qian immediately cleared his throat and asked, “Vice Chairman Tian, why do you propose to remove Miss Su from her position as Executive President? It’s only been one day since she took office!”

Tian Peng said solemnly, “Miss Su practices nepotism and favoritism. She’s only been in office for one day and already caused a complete mess at the beverage factory!”

“Oh? How so?”

The shareholders’ interest was piqued, and even though the beverage factory was nearly bankrupt, if Su Ziyan could wreak havoc there, she could do the same in other factories!

This was going to hurt the shareholders’ interests!

“Here’s what happened: Miss Su placed a confidant as a security guard in the beverage factory. However, within less than a day, this confidant sent the head of the security team and the warehouse manager to the hospital!

This person is not only unaddressed by Miss Su; instead, she coddles him and unjustly accuses the warehouse manager and the head of the security team of being the cancer of the beverage factory!”

Zhang Junqing feigned a puzzled look and said, “I’m not very familiar with the head of the security team, but I am very familiar with the warehouse manager! I remember very clearly.

Last year the beverage factory’s warehouse manager was commended by Chairman Su as a model worker. How has he suddenly become the cancer of the factory under Miss Su?”

“Miss Su, please explain!”

“My dear niece, what in the world is going on?”

“Miss Su, could it be that you are questioning Chairman Su?”

…

Once again, the guns were all pointed at Su Ziyan! Su Ziyan was not the least bit flustered as she calmly said, “Dear shareholders, you have only heard Vice Chairman Tian’s side of the story. How can you question me?

I’ve always believed in a saying, a saying my mother also often repeats: ‘No investigation, no right to speak.’

Because of this, I went to the beverage factory myself to investigate!

The head of the security team and the warehouse manager made the beverage factory a place filled with grievances. When the workers mentioned them, they cursed; they indeed were the cancer of the beverage factory.

I have no objections to Qin Yu’s actions! What he did was completely in the best interests of the beverage factory! As long as we remove these malignancies, the beverage factory can return to profitability within a month!”

The neutral shareholders closed their mouths, thinking that they had only listened to Tian Peng’s side of the story!

If Su Ziyan could revive such a near-bankrupt business, what would it matter if she became the chairman?

Seeing the wavering among the shareholders, Tian Peng was not perturbed and spoke indifferently, “Miss Su, indeed, you have great skill in sophistry! Do you think that by claiming it’s for the good of the beverage factory, you can just gloss over the issue?
