Picking Up a Gorgeous CEO for a Wife

Chapter 1024: Chapter 1024: Take Me to the Security Room

As soon as Su Ziyan set off, Zhang Hao was informed of her impending visit and quickly drank some hangover soup, personally going to the gate to greet Su Ziyan!

Zhang Hao was very nervous, unsure why Manager Su was coming to the beverage factory.

While waiting, Zhang Hao’s heart was hanging by a thread, fearing that Manager Su’s first act would be to set fire to the beverage factory.

Zhang Hao made several phone calls in a row, instructing the workers to conduct an emergency cleanup, ensuring that all departments looked presentable, especially the finance department where they prepared the false accounts.

After considering every aspect meticulously, Zhang Hao finally felt relieved, hoping to evade any disasters.

In Zhang Hao’s anxious wait, a black Mercedes-Benz van slowly drove up.

Since it was his first time driving for Manager Su, the driver, Xiao Chen, drove very steadily regardless of speed.

Su Ziyan didn’t feel any bumps and even took the opportunity to nap.

How beautiful! Chen continuously stared at her through the rearview mirror as he wondered who could win her favor, observing Su Ziyan dozing in the back seat.

“Manager Su, we’ve arrived.”

“Hmm.” Su Ziyan, who wasn’t sleeping deeply, was startled awake by Xiao Chen’s voice and nodded gently.

Xiao Chen courteously opened the car door for Su Ziyan, who gracefully alighted.

As soon as she got out, Su Ziyan saw a middle-aged man with a beaming smile; “Manager Su, welcome to guide our work at the beverage factory.”

Su Ziyan slightly furrowed her brow; wasn’t this visit to the beverage factory known only to Wang Rui?

Her frown sent a shiver down Zhang Hao’s spine, wondering where he might have offended Manager Su.

“I just came to have a look without prior notice, how could I have dared to trouble Manager Zhang to personally receive me?” Su Ziyan said expressionlessly as she walked past Zhang Hao.

Zhang Hao instantly understood that this was the cause of Manager Su’s displeasure.

Zhang Hao quickly explained, “Manager Su, when you inspect subordinate factories, the secretariat sends out a notice to the factories, which is why I’m here to greet you.”

Like that? Su Ziyan’s expression softened slightly and she nodded, indicating she understood.

Seeing Su Ziyan’s mood improve slightly, Zhang Hao, eager to please, asked, “Manager Su, would you like to visit the workshop or the finance department first?”

The workshop? The finance department?

Su Ziyan gently shook her head; since Zhang Hao had already been informed ahead of time, she was certain she wouldn’t see what she wanted to see.

Originally, Su Ziyan had thoughts of making an unofficial inspection incognito, but with her movements leaked, her interest faded, and she casually said, “Take me to the security room.”

The security room? Zhang Hao’s face turned green in an instant!

Heaven help him!

He had made complete preparations, yet forgot about the security room!

In Zhang Hao’s eyes, Su Ziyan was a delicate young lady, why would she care about these stinky security guards?

At this time, the guards were either playing cards or drinking! What if Manager Su saw this, wouldn’t it be tragic?

“Manager Su, what’s there to see in the security room? Aren’t you here to guide the factory’s work? Why not visit the workshop or the finance department first?

Our workers would be very pleased to see you.”

“Take me to the security room, I don’t want to say it a third time.”

Su Ziyan’s expression was cold, but she was smiling inwardly, wondering what the scene would be like if her naughty husband suddenly saw her.

“Okay… okay.”

Zhang Hao was sweating profusely; it was over, it’s either a blessing or a curse that can’t be avoided! If those stinky guards angered Manager Su, even if it meant offending Yang Guang, he would have to fire Zhu Wenlong!
