Picking Up a Gorgeous CEO for a Wife

Chapter 1013: Chapter 1013: Making a Hole?

This process had no issues, and Qin Yu nodded along, indicating that Liu Yao was doing well.

Seeing Qin Yu nod, Liu Yao let out a breath of relief, but he did not dare to relax because installing the central bearing was only the first step. After the central bearing was installed, it was necessary to correct the gears, which was both a physically demanding and delicate task.

Eager to perform in front of his teacher, Liu Yao didn’t rest. He wiped the sweat off his forehead with his greasy sleeve and started to look for the problematic gear.

This time, Liu Yao was not just going through the motions; he carefully checked all the gears, making sure everything was perfect before jumping down from the machinery.

“Teacher, please check my work,” he said.

Wu Wen nodded, “It’s not bad, it reaches the peak level of a senior technician. However, there’s still some distance from the level of a special skilled technician.”

“Please give me your guidance,” Liu Yao requested.

“You’re only adjusting the gears that are in contact. You haven’t considered that gears not in contact also have a certain relationship. Right now, it seems like you’ve got all the gears fixed, but in truth, there will be deviations within two months at most.”

Qin Yu nodded slightly, thinking that what Wu Wen said made sense.

The words of Wu Wen lit up Liu Yao’s eyes; it was as if he saw a brand new path!

Liu Yao bowed deeply, “Thank you for the guidance, teacher! Please demonstrate for me.”

“Alright! This old man will embarrass himself in front of Qin,” Wu Wen said.

Wu Wen climbed onto the machine with ease, not resembling a man in his seventies at all. Based on his experience, he made fine adjustments to the interconnected gears.

While adjusting, he explained, “This gear and the main gear may seem unrelated, but its vibration will affect the amplitude of the main gear.

So, we must reduce its amplitude.

The shaft driven by this gear affects the rotation of the main gear, so this too needs adjusting…”

After making adjustments, Wu Wen jumped off the machine, clapped his hands, and looked at Qin Yu for feedback, “Qin, could you give me some pointer?”

Qin Yu smiled and said calmly, “Wu, you are very close to being an S-level technician. The adjustments were very good, and with your work, this machine should not have any problems for at least half a year.”

Just close to an S-level technician?

A trace of disappointment appeared on Wu Wen’s face. If anyone else had said such a thing, Wu Wen would have surely contested, but these words came from Qin Yu.

Seeing disappointment on the teacher’s face, Liu Yao said somewhat unconvinced, “Qin, the teacher’s adjustments are already perfect, how is it just close to an S-level technician?

Moreover, to verify the work, we must test run the machine. Without even starting it up, how can you make such a statement?”

“Then, let’s start the machine,” Qin Yu gestured.

Liu Yao hurriedly started the machine, and it roared to life, the sound noticeably quieter and smoother than before. Liu Yao knew that after the teacher’s adjustments, the machine’s load had significantly decreased!

Soon, the raw materials were ground into chips and fell into the waste area. Liu Yao’s eyes went wide with astonishment!

“Good heavens! Medium grinding! The teacher actually adjusted it to achieve medium grinding effects! This is absolutely the standard of an S-level technician! Qin, you must admit you were wrong now, right?”

Qin Yu gently shook his head, “Wrong? Ha… If turning a machine with only rough grinding capability to perform medium grinding is indeed an S-level technician’s standard.

But this machine had the medium grinding feature to begin with; it just fell to rough grinding due to poor maintenance. Restoring it to medium grind quality is merely the level of a special skilled technician.”
