Chapter 55: Chapter 15: Fight Fast with Speed

This map is a plain, with not many things to utilize. However, since Fatty came with the purpose of training, he wouldn’t overly rely on other means; after all, the Mythical Army wouldn’t give you a chance to set traps.

Soon, a mecha appeared in front of Fatty. It was a relatively modern Hawke Mecha, considered one of the better ones among the current online mechas.

This mecha seemed to hold a deep grudge against Fatty, charging at him as soon as they met. Fatty had offended too many people and couldn’t recall any specific grudge with this mecha. Regardless, it was a fight, so he also charged forward. The two mechas didn’t exchange any pleasantries before they started battling.

As soon as they clashed, Tian Xingjian immediately sensed a difference. This mecha clearly had very skilled close-combat techniques, unlike the rookies from the Leray Federation. Moreover, the mecha’s performance was being fully utilized under its pilot’s control. The Hawke Mecha was known for its speed, and it was unleashing its speed advantage entirely, circling around Tian Xingjian with a trail of light.

When it came to speed, Fatty had never met anyone faster than himself. Not willing to be outdone, he swiftly sidestepped with his Magic Beast, creating a gap and moving at high speed just like the Hawke Mecha. Both sides exchanged punches and kicks at lightning speed, entangling with each other.

The sound of rapid blows rang out like a chain of machine gun fire; within a moment, the two mechas had exchanged seven punches and six kicks, separating briefly before charging at each other again. The quick back-and-forth made the spectators’ hearts pound with excitement.

The pilot of the Hawke Mecha grew increasingly alarmed. The opponent’s Magic Beast was a modified military mecha! It wasn’t just keeping up with the Hawke in speed; it seemed to be getting even faster. The pilot’s hand speed was reaching its limit, but the opponent seemed to have endless potential.

Fatty, on the other hand, became more exhilarated as they fought. There are so many experts internationally! Randomly encountering one with such skill, where could he find such opponents usually? This kind of fast-paced combat was extremely beneficial for improving mecha control.

Seeing that he would eventually be suppressed by the Magic Beast’s speed, the Hawke pilot gritted his teeth, shifted the mecha’s legs to dodge a sidekick, accelerated fiercely, and leaped into the air, aiming both fists at the Magic Beast’s cockpit. This sudden quick strike had won the pilot many victories before.

However, SM01314 was even faster. Leaning back, a knee strike hit the Hawke’s abdomen hard. Using its mechanical hands to support itself on the ground, the whole mecha clung to the Hawke, flipping it over in a somewhat indecent posture, pinning it beneath.

Having controlled the opponent’s mecha, how could Fatty miss this chance when he was so familiar with mecha’s structure?

With a ”snap”, a pseudo-repair mechanical arm indecently installed under his abdomen popped out. After a few folds to the right, it reached to the left rear of the Hawke, dismantling its electronic transmission board.

Although the entangled posture of the two human-shaped mechas was somewhat maddening, the outcome was clear.

”Wuu... You’re bullying me too much!” A woman’s crying voice came from the Hawke’s speaker, startling Fatty. His opponent, whose speed had almost given him a hand cramp, was actually a female mecha pilot!

Fatty opened the profile to see: Margaret, Major of the Feiyang Republic Army.

The system automatically closed the map. Magic Beast and Hawke were both transmitted back to the observation room simultaneously. Under the eyes of the audience, Fatty awkwardly climbed off the Hawke.

The observation room was filled with gasps. The Hawke’s cockpit, now unable to move, popped open, and a tall blonde beauty with her hair tied in a bun on top of her head jumped out. Her fair skin, swan-like neck, and tear-streaked face looked pitiable.

Margaret shouted at Fatty, ”You despicable shameless scoundrel, get out of there!”

Fatty didn’t even dare to fill in his profile. In this realistic scanned network, how could he dare come out of the mecha? Being seen, his face would likely end up in various digital publications, TV, and online, making him a target of universal pursuit.

”I just won a fight; it happens to be against a major from a superpower, can’t handle a loss,” Fatty grumbled internally, though he knew his last move was indeed a bit cheeky.

Driving the mecha with a swish of its backside, Fatty moved to the side to watch other matches, thinking, ”A good man doesn’t fight with women. I’ll ignore you! Next time, pick my opponents carefully; women are just trouble!”

Margaret was relentless. Seeing SM01314 ignoring her, she simply started crying and saying incessantly, ”Come out, wuu, you’re too bad, come out! You stole my stuff and used such annoying tricks in the match, you’re inhuman, come out. Think you’re so great at modifying mechas, bastard, wuu, are you coming out or not.”

Tian Xingjian felt a massive headache. Once a woman started being unreasonable and crying, it wouldn’t end. He couldn’t even enjoy watching the matches. He finally said, ”Coming out is out of the question, tell me, what do you want so you’ll let me off?”

Crying, Margaret spat out, ”Phooey, I won’t let you go. You damaged my hard-earned Hawke, come out!”

Fatty sighed and said, ”Isn’t it just a busted mecha? I’ll put the circuit board back for you.”

Margaret gradually stopped crying, cautiously and suspiciously asking, ”But how did you remove the circuit board? Isn’t the system supposed to prevent mecha parts from being damaged?”

Fatty thought, ”I chose Mechanical Repair Soldier, fighting and dismantling parts were suggested by me to Milan. If I tell you all this, how could I still mix? What if a master just dismantles my cockpit door and exposes my handsome face to broad daylight; then I’m done for.”

Afraid Margaret would dig deeper, the scoundrel smiled lewdly, ”Beautiful lady, I’m used to stripping women’s clothes; it’s become a talent over time. Using this technique to dismantle a mecha in here feels pretty easy. Why don’t we spar a bit?”

Margaret was both ashamed and angry. Knowing this SM01314 was despicable, she shut her mouth, fearing he would tease her to death. Sulking, she waited for Fatty to repair her Hawke. Once done, she jumped into the mecha and logged off.

Regardless of the blonde beauty causing a ruckus in a luxury villa in the Feiyang Republic, dressed in just her lingerie, the Fatty in the virtual world was already captivated by an ongoing mecha match.
