The Interstellar Queen of Scavengers

Chapter 1153: Chapter 1153: Yue Qiguang’s Progress

”Dad, I...” Realizing who he was talking to, Yue Qiguang abruptly corrected himself: ”Ahem... I... I’m the one to command?” He still couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

”Hmm?” Principal Hong raised an eyebrow slightly, but his face was still full of a kind smile, and he said, ”You’re too low in the seniority; you should call me grandpa. Next time, don’t call me dad, or if your grandpa finds out, he might beat you for being an unfilial descendant.”

”Cough...” Yue Qiguang’s face turned red, and he whispered quietly, ”...My grandpa passed away many years ago.”

”Oh...” Principal Hong’s smile remained unchanged and he said, ”Almost forgot, old Yue’s been gone for 8 years now.” With that, Principal Hong’s expression turned stern, and he opened his mouth to scold, ”If you dare to shout nonsense in front of me again, I’ll beat you on behalf of old Yue.”

Yue Qiguang opened his mouth, angry but dared not to speak.

Principal Hong said, ”Go.”

Yue Qiguang, full of question marks and confusion, stammered, ”But I...”

Principal Hong said, ”Go command.”

Yue Qiguang took a deep breath and said with eyes closed, ”Reporting to Principal, I don’t know how to.”

Principal Hong scolded, ”You’ve got such a big head, is it stuffed with cotton?”

Yue Qiguang said slightly aggrieved, ”But... but I really don’t know.”

Principal Hong said, ”If you don’t know, then go learn, don’t shout in my face, you’re giving me a headache, hurry up and go.”

Ji You, upon hearing this, looked somewhat surprised at the resting area over there. If she hadn’t heard it with her own ears, she wouldn’t have believed that Principal Hong had such a good temper and could speak so kindly to Yue Qiguang.

Teacher Mu is a devil.

Principal Hong isn’t much better.

Both of their mouths are particularly sharp, often not saying anything human.

If Teacher Mu Jianling is typically a sharp tongue with a soft heart, then Principal Hong is a non-typical stinky tofu mouth with a pitch-black sawtooth heart...

In short, as soon as Ji You hears these two teachers talk, she tends to get a migraine.

Now—

Principal Hong didn’t really mock Yue Qiguang?

And then...

Ji You suddenly heard someone behind her ask, ”Very strange?”

Ji You jumped in surprise, quickly turned around, only to find that Principal Hong had somehow wound up behind her without her noticing. Yu Song and Sheng Qingyan, who were in the same room with Ji You studying navigation maps, were obviously startled, even Liu Fufeng, who was silently spreading spiritual power from the corner of the room as a precaution, turned his head in surprise to look at Principal Hong. As Liu Fufeng gazed at the quietly arrived Principal Hong, a touch of surprise and confusion appeared in his pitch-black pupils...

And, Sheng Qingyan tried hard to hold the pen tighter, Yu Song pointed at the corner of the map, and both of them suddenly stopped...

Everyone’s loss of composure only lasted a moment, and they quickly returned to normal.

Ji You squeezed out a smile and said, ”Principal, how come you’re over here?”

”The couches in the resting area are uncomfortable after a while, so I came over to have a look around.” Principal Hong said, as he walked over to Sheng Qingyan and Liu Fufeng, glanced at the key points on their standard navigation map, and said nothing.

Then.

Principal Hong turned back to Ji You, seeing that her face was still filled with a puzzled expression, he couldn’t help but hum, ”What’s so strange? Yue Qiguang’s brain capacity is shallow. If you talk too complicatedly or long-windedly, he won’t understand.”

In the spaceship’s public chat channel, Yue Qiguang’s very dissatisfied voice rang out: ”Principal, I can still hear you.”

Principal Hong said with a smile, ”It’s fine, anyway, listening won’t increase your brain capacity, listen if you want.”

Yue Qiguang: ”...”

By this time, Yue Qiguang was already in the cockpit, tasked with commanding and safely, quickly getting everyone on the spaceship to Nami Star, his whole face was full of confusion.

What to do...

What to do? Should I just randomly assign duties to everyone like that idiot number 4444?

Or?

Or should I simply pick a ready-made plan and directly copy number 4444’s arrangement?

No way!

I finally got to be a commander; am I not planning to make something big happen, to shock Principal Hong, Ji You, and everyone else?

Just as Yue Qiguang was feeling a little headache, he heard Principal Hong implying that he had a low IQ.

Hearing this, Yue Qiguang was naturally unconvinced, so he directly pushed the door open, entered the cockpit, and shouted at Chu Jiaojiao, Shen Changqing: ”You two, for me—”

Chu Jiaojiao turned her head in spare, ”???

Yue Qiguang, full of vigor, said, ”Maintain the status quo for me!”

Chu Jiaojiao: ”...”

Chu Jiaojiao said speechlessly, ”So why are you yelling in such a loud voice?”

Yue Qiguang, full of reason and vigor, said, ”To let you know my voice is loud, listen to me.”

Chu Jiaojiao: ”...”

Ji You and others: ”...”

After that.

In the spaceship’s common chat channel, Ji You, Sheng Qingyan, Yue Qiyuan... everyone heard Yue Qiguang say in an unprecedentedly serious and solemn tone, with an absolutely fierce demeanor, ”Everyone, listen to my command—”

Everyone couldn’t help but hold their breath—

Yue Qiguang shouted, ”Act according to Ji You’s orders just now.”

Everyone: ”...”

Silence.

second.

seconds.

seconds.

...

The silence was like a collapsed mountain, pressing down all at once, almost crushing everyone. After a while, Lou couldn’t help but loudly say, ”What the hell, Yue Qiguang, you made such a big deal out of this just to tell us that?”

Lance tilted his head: ”That’s it? That’s it? That’s it?”

While everyone looked speechless at Yue Qiguang, Chu Jiaojiao couldn’t help but say, ”That’s already enough, don’t you think Yue Qiguang wised up? His IQ has gone up? He chose to keep things as they are, didn’t do any crazy operations, that’s already the best arrangement for everyone.”

”Oh?” Everyone was stunned:

Yeah.

Yue Qiguang, the fool, didn’t make any big moves or crazy operations, and that was already a blessing; what more could we ask for?

Thus, the crowd who broke into a cold sweat, all said to Yue Qiguang, ”Yue Qiguang, I didn’t expect you have some brains.”

Upon hearing this, Yue Qiguang’s face darkened, full of displeasure, ”Be mindful of your words, remember— I’m the Captain now.”

Upon hearing this, Ji You and the others quickly fell silent, not daring to provoke Yue Qiguang anymore.

Watching from the sidelines, having observed Yue Qiguang, Ji You, Chu Jiaojiao... these students’ reactions, Principal Hong smiled benevolently on the outside, and in his heart, was laughing too: Yue Qiguang, this baffoon leader, really has made progress, and quite a bit at that. Though still a bit silly, he’s not beyond hope, at least he knows to maintain stability, hasn’t blindly given out reckless orders. Achieving this is already quite commendable.

Principal Hong, hands behind his back, looked at the students with a kindly face:

—But, only maintaining the status quo, without understanding how to adapt to changes, won’t do.
