Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 92: First Beast Contract

Zhang Fei spoke to Boitata. ”I give you two choices: submit to me or die.”

Zhang Lingxue and the other women were dumbfounded when they heard Zhang Feiʼs words. They didnʼt know where his confidence came from, but for some reason they didnʼt doubt his words.

”Hiss~ Hahaha.” Boitata laughed out loud at his words, and all eyes on its body stared at Zang Fei with disdain, then it mocked him. ”Do you think you can kill me with your cultivation in the 1 Star Foundation Realm, brat? Youʼre really good at boasting; even that woman with a 9 Star Earth Realm cultivation canʼt hurt me.”

”Heh,” Zhang Fei snorted at the Boitata as he transformed into a half-fox, then released his Heavenly Fox aura to suppress it, and his eyes turned blood red at the same time.

This was Zhang Feiʼs first time trying to combine the abilities of his two bloodlines, and obviously, his experiment was successful; the auras of his Heavenly Fox as well as his Demon Eyes instantly suppressed Boitata.

Boitata immediately slumped to the ground, all eyes on it as its body trembled violently; it could only stare at Zhang Fei in fear.

”What the hell? Heʼs a demihuman?” Zhang Lingxue and the other women exclaimed in shock; they were really shocked to see Zhang Feiʼs half-fox form, and they were even more shocked to see Boitata so frightened of him.

Only Shen Yu was not shocked to see Zhang Feiʼs half-fox form, and she was only slightly surprised because he was a fox beast, but she was unable to recognize the type of his fox race. ʼIʼve never met a fox beast whose aura was as terrifying as his before; even the auras of the moon foxes werenʼt as scary as his. If my assumption is correct, he must be a mythical fox beast.

Zhang Fei walked in front of the boitataʼs head, jumped on its mouth, and then stomped his feet hard, as he said evilly. ”Now tell me; do you think I can kill you now?”

Boitata was already terrified by his Heavenly Fox aura, as well as the fear effect of his Demon Eyes, which made her truly fearful of Zhang Fei.

”Now choose; submit to me or die.” Zhang Fei said that as he released his killing intent, it was Liu Hua and the Wen Twins who taught him how to use his killing intent to intimidate his enemies.

Boitata continued to stare at Zhang Fei in horror, even though it had the pride of being a divine beast but was also aware that Zhang Fei was a mythical rank fox beast. In the end, it resignedly said. ”Hiss~ I will submit to you, Master.”

”Great!” Zhang Fei then pressed his forehead against Boitataʼs head. ʼDo it, Mei.ʼ

[Aye sir~]

After Mei answered, the next second, a white light appeared on their foreheads, and the light was so bright that it blinded them. A few minutes later, the white light disappeared, and a notification suddenly popped into Zhang Feiʼs mind.

[Ding]

[Hidden Quest: Taming a Divine Beast]

[Status: Completed]

[Rewards: Beast Function Unlocked, Beast Space Unlocked]

Zhang Fei was surprised by the notification, because all this time he had never gotten any other quest other than his daily quest, and the reward made him wonder in his heart. ʼHmm? Beast Function? Beast Space?ʼ

[Soul Connect: By using it, the Master can increase his personal power by 50% of the Beastʼs power, and vice versa.]

[Mind Connect: The Master can see and hear what beasts see and hear, and both can communicate with each other from great distances.]

[Beast Space: A special space for beasts, if the beasts stay in it, they can recover their qi quickly, and all the wounds they suffered during battle can also heal very quickly.]

Mei then said so excitedly. [Both are really good for you, Master. With Soul Connect, you can use 50% of Boitataʼs power; that way, you can face cultivators in the 10 Star Core Realm or maybe the 1 Star Soul Realm easily.]

ʼEn, they were indeed useful.ʼ Zhang Fei nodded in agreement, then he jumped down from above the Boitataʼs mouth, and asked. ”Can you turn yourself into a human?”

”Not yet, Master. In order to transform into a human, I must first break through to the Sovereign Realm.” Boitata answered with a shake of its head.

Zhang Fei sighed. ”Rest in my beast space first.”

After Zhang Fei said that, he immediately sent the Boitata into his Beast Space and returned to his human form, then he walked over to the women.

As soon as he was in front of them, Zhang Lingxue spoke directly to him. ”In the end, you won big against us; not only did you get the Fire Yang Flower, but you also got a Divine Beast as your contract beast.”

”But how did you know in the first place that there was a divine beast in there?” Hai Dongyin asked curiously.

Zhang Fei shrugged casually, then replied with a wink. ”Everyone has their own secret.”

Zhang Fei certainly wouldnʼt tell them anything; moreover, they werenʼt his women. He even kept the existence of Mei and the system from his women.

Zhang Lingxue and the Hai twins couldnʼt help but frown at his answer, but they also couldnʼt force Zhang Fei to reveal his secret to them, especially now that he had the Divine Beast as his protector and could kill them whenever he wanted.

”Since everything is over, I will take Ning Xiang and Du Yuan back to the Yin-Yang Pavilion now.” Shen Yu said as she walked in front of him. ”Anyway, I will be waiting for you in Southern River City, Zhang Fei.”

Zhang Lingxue was shocked to learn Zhang Feiʼs name. ʼZhang? Heʼs also surnamed Zhang? But I never heard of Zhang Feiʼs name within my Zhang Clan before.ʼ

”Yes, I will definitely visit you in Southern River City, Shen Yu.” Zhang Fei replied with a smile, then cupped her cheek and kissed her forehead. ”I hope you thought about my words earlier.”

Ning Xiang and Du Yuan were stunned to see their intimate actions, and they glanced at each other in confusion, as they knew about Shen Yuʼs true status.

Chang Wenjie looked at them with jealousy, even though she had already given her first kiss to Zhang Fei, who had rejected her instead.

”Yes, I will definitely think about it.” Shen Yu nodded to him, then she gave two spare returning jades to Ning Xiang and Du Yuan, and they disappeared immediately after breaking them.

Zhang Fei turned to Zhang Lingxue and the Hai twins. ”Since we have nothing else to do, we split up here.”

”Wait, Zhang Fei! I still want to talk to you.” Before Zhang Fei used his teleportation, Zhang Lingxue immediately stopped him.
