Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 88: Fire Yang Flower Bloom

Chang Wenji said with a bashful expression. ”It was my first kiss, so you have to be responsible to me.”

”Huh?” Zhang Fei then spoke with an innocent look. ”Miss, you kissed me first, so I returned the favor, and now you expect me to be responsible to you? Besides, I donʼt even know you, and vice versa.”

”I donʼt care! Anyway, you must be responsible to me!” Chang Wenjie said with a frown, and then she glanced at Liu Hua and the others. ”You should also leave them and come with me to the Central Region!”

Liu Hua and the others darkened at her words, and Chu Qing immediately shouted angrily at Chang Wenji. ”You shameless woman! You kissed Fei yourself, and you are now asking him to leave us!”

”Humph! So what!?” Cang Wenjie snorted at Chu Qing. ”All of you are just weak women; if he comes with me to the Central Region, then my Chang Clan can help him become stronger quickly!”

Hearing that, Ye Lian took out his sword. She herself had disliked Chang Wenjie for a long time. But before he could do anything, they heard Zhang Fei shouting.

”Enough!” Zhang Fei shouted at Chang Wenji as he used his Demon Eyes for a brief moment.

Even if it was only for a brief moment, it was enough to make Chang Wenjie feel extreme fear; she broke out in cold sweat, and her body trembled violently. ”You-!”

”You what?” Zhang Fei looked at her coldly and snapped at Chang Wenjie in a rising tone. ”I know that your Chang Clan is strong, but I will never allow anyone to insult and demean my women!”

”Hey, you damn brat!” Chang Wenhao shouted from afar, then he dashed towards Zhang Fei. ”Who do you think you are to dare to yell at my little sister? My Chang Clan can destroy your clans like ants! You guys-!”

Howeve, Chang Wenhao hadnʼt finished speaking yet; a dagger was already stuck to his neck, and he froze at it. ʼShit! Sheʼs really fast!ʼ

Chang Wenjie was horrified to see that. She opened her mouth to say something, but the fear that Zhang Feiʼs Demon Eyes instilled in her made her unable to speak, and her body trembled even more violently.

Liu Hua stood behind Chang Wenhao, and she pressed her dagger against his neck, causing blood to drip from his neck, as she coldly said. ”You are just an ignorant little brat who can only rely on your clan name to suppress others. Unfortunately, you are wrong if you think that I dare not kill you just because you are a member of the Chang Clan.”

Chang Wenhao was speechless, and he felt a chill down his spine. Moreover, he could sense that Liu Hua was not joking with her words, as he also felt blood dripping from his neck.

Seeing the commotion between them, Gu Zhan and the Heavenly Sect disciples smiled while laughing in their hearts, especially after they heard about the Chang Clan and the Central Region from Chang Wenhaoʼs mouth.

ʼSigh, this is really troublesome; they donʼt know the Liu Clanʼs true strength. I have to stop them, or else things will get messy in the future.ʼ Zhang Lingxue inwardly sighed; she didnʼt expect that Chang Wenjie would insult them, plus Chang Wenhao also brought his clan name; then she stood up and walked over to Liu Hua. ”Please spare him, Liu Hua.

He is just an ignorant little brat, and it will tarnish your reputation if you kill a little brat like him.”

”Hey, did you forget that I never cared about my reputation, Lingxue?” Liu Hua said as she pressed her dagger harder against Chang Wenhaoʼs neck, and more blood dripped from his neck.

ʼShit!ʼ Chang Wenhao could only curse in his heart.

”I know, but-”

But suddenly Zhang Fei spoke. ”Huaʼer, just let him go; thereʼs no point in killing a coward who can only rely on his clan name. Moreover, the Fire Yang Flower will soon be in full bloom.”

Liu Hua and Zhang Lingxue looked at Zhang Fei with raised eyebrows; they didnʼt understand how he could tell that the Fire Yang Flower was about to fully bloom soon. Before they could ask him, a pillar of fire shot up into the sky from within the crater.

All of them turned towards the pillar of fire, then Liu Hua and Zhang Lingxue turned to see Zhang Fei again. They were really shocked because his words were so accurate; even they themselves couldnʼt guess as accurately as him.

”Iʼll only spare you this once, but if it happens again, then Iʼll kill you straight away.” Liu Hua said as she put away her dagger, and she then returned to Zhang Feiʼs side.

Zhang Lingxue let out a sigh of relief and used her qi to lift Chang Wenjie to her feet, and she led them to the edge of the crater.

Gu Zhan and the Heavenly Sword Sect disciples also rushed to the edge of the crater. The Desolate Sect disciples also did the same. As for the Hai twins, they still didnʼt move from their seats, and they seemed to be waiting for Zhang Feiʼs next move.

Chang Wenjie continued to stare at Zhang Fei with mixed feelings; she felt restless, annoyed, angry, and scared.

Chang Wenhao was also the same; he kept glancing at Zhang Fei and Liu Hua in turn, and his eyes were full of hatred and hostility.

Zhang Lingxue couldnʼt help but shake her head seeing them like that, but then she also glanced at Zhang Feiʼs group, and she raised her eyebrows in confusion, because they still looked so relaxed. ʼIs there something that I missed?ʼ

Zhang Fei ignored their gazes; he then whispered to Liu Hua and the others very quietly. ”You quickly take them away from this place, Huaʼer. The divine beast has awakened from its slumber, and it is angry with our presence.”

”But Fei-!”

”Entrust everything to Fei, Qingʼer.” Liu Hua immediately interrupted Chu Qing, and then she asked the women to follow her.

The women turned to Zhang Fei, and he nodded to them with a confident smile. ”Iʼll catch up with you guys soon.”

”Be careful, Fei!” Chu Qing and the others said in unison, and then they followed Liu Hua and the Wen twins down the Blazing Volcano.

Even though the women did nothing, the trip to the top of Blazing Volcano had actually strengthened their bodies, thanks to the high gravity at the top.

Zhang Lingxue and the Hai twins were taken aback by their actions, but they also wondered in their hearts because Zhang Fei looked so calm and relaxed, and they were thinking the same thing. ʼWhat exactly is that young man thinking? What does he really know that we donʼt? And why did he tell Liu Hua and the others to come down first?ʼ

Heavenly Sword Sect disciples and Chang Wenhao smiled upon seeing Zhang Fei alone, and they said the same in their hearts. ʼHehe, without Liu Hua by his side, I can definitely kill that damn brat easily.ʼ

Seeing Zhang Fei alone, Chang Wenji became worried about him because she knew for sure that her big brother would definitely do something to him, plus those Heavenly Sword Sect disciples, and she inwardly said so. ʼPlease be safe, Fei.ʼ

”Letʼs pick the Fire Yang Flower now!” Gu Zhan said to his fellow disciples, and they immediately jumped into the crater, the Desolate Sect disciples following behind them.

”We also have to go down to the crater.” As Zhang Lingxue enveloped Chang Wenji and Chang Wenhao in her qi, they leapt into the crater.

Zhang Feiʼs lips curled up as he noticed the Hai twins still sitting and waiting for him; he then used his teleportation ability to vanish from before them.

”Damn it!” The Hai Twins cursed in shock and mobilized their Qi, and they jumped into the crater directly.

However, in the next second, Zhang Fei reappeared some distance away from his previous location and sat leisurely on top of a big tree branch, as he said with a chuckle. ”Now we just have to wait for the Yin-Yang Pavilion group to arrive and let them take on that Boitata first. After they get beaten up by it, only then will I snatch that Fire Yang Flower from them.”

Mei giggled. [You are really as cunning as a fox, Master.]
