Wrong Flirt, Right Trouble: His Uncle Pulls Me Close

At that moment, Silas Blackwood wasn’t having it.

”What are you begging her for? Wait, ’tell me’? So, Ivy Sherwood, you know a lot about Anna Nash, and I’m the only one in the dark?” This time, Silas Blackwood refused to stand for it.

Silas Blackwood yanked Anna Nash away and said, ”Go on, talk. I want to hear just what other ways this bitch has wronged me!”

Silas Blackwood’s face alternated between pale and livid. The biggest mistake he ever made was getting involved with this woman!

Even as Anna Nash was pulled away, she kept her arms wrapped tightly around her stomach.

”Ivy Sherwood, don’t say it! I’m begging you!”

Silas Blackwood raised his hand and slapped Anna Nash twice. ”You don’t get a say in this! Someone, throw this woman out!”

The nearby servants didn’t dare approach. The scene was far too dramatic; how could they possibly get involved?

Ivy Sherwood said, ”Wait. Before you throw her out, there are a few things I need to make clear.”

Ivy Sherwood took out her phone and held the hospital surveillance footage in front of Anna Nash. Everything was perfectly clear.

Ivy Sherwood said, ”When you were talking, Sylvia Blackwood was right there. You were the one who exposed the fact that the child wasn’t Silas Blackwood’s. You were also the one who let it slip that you’re pregnant again.”

”If you don’t believe me, Sylvia Blackwood and Silas Blackwood are right over there. You can ask them. You’re the one who doesn’t trust me. Whether it was back when I considered you a friend or now, you’ve never once believed me.”

Ivy Sherwood never went back on her word, even for someone like Anna Nash.

Unfortunately, Anna Nash had been too anxious and exposed her own secrets in just a few sentences.

Anna Nash looked at Sylvia Blackwood in disbelief. Sylvia’s eyes darted away, and she didn’t dare say a word.

Quentin Blackwood’s hand twitched. ”Speak. What exactly happened?”

Sylvia Blackwood, on the verge of tears from fright, blurted out, ”So what if I heard it? Anna Nash was having another man’s baby behind my brother’s back! That’s why I told my brother to get it checked, and it turned out the baby really wasn’t his!”

”And now Anna Nash is pregnant again! She’s already ruined my brother, and she’s been cheating on him. The nerve of her to get pregnant again! It’s outrageous!”

In her anger, Sylvia Blackwood completely forgot about the livestream, wanting only to vent all her frustrations.

’What did I do wrong?’ she thought. ’All I did was tell my brother the truth. Otherwise, the Blackwood Family would still be completely in the dark.’

Anna Nash collapsed to the floor. ’So it really wasn’t Ivy Sherwood who said it... Didn’t I just shoot myself in the foot?’

All of this was being broadcast live. In a short time, the number of viewers in the livestream had already surpassed half a million.

”Oh my god, are all you high-society types this messy? What did I just hear?”

”So Silas Blackwood can’t get it up, and the kid isn’t even his... This is too... Oh my god!”

”There’s so much drama with this Blackwood family. And the one dropping these bombshells seems to be Ivy Sherwood, right? His former fiancée, the one who kept insisting on breaking off the engagement. Good thing the pretty lady got out of it, otherwise she would have been miserable.”

”I’ve been following this drama from the beginning. I always said the Blackwoods were no good. Caleb Blackwood pretends to be some philanthropist while his son is out sleeping around like a total sleazebag. Looks like they’re finally getting what they deserve.”

”I don’t know why, but am I the only one who finds this incredibly satisfying? Remember how this family bullied Miss Ivy? Silas Blackwood was cheating left and right but refused to break off the engagement, and then this Anna Nash character tried to force a marriage by getting pregnant. And after all that, it turns out the baby wasn’t even Silas’s.”

...

Ivy Sherwood watched the scene unfold with a smile. ”Silas Blackwood, aren’t you the least bit curious whose baby is in Anna Nash’s belly right now?”

”Whose?” Silas Blackwood asked.

Nearby, Caleb Blackwood was still struggling, while Anna Nash immediately shrieked, ”Ivy Sherwood, please, don’t say any more! I’m begging you!”

But Silas Blackwood had already called someone over to cover Anna Nash’s mouth and throw her out.

’Why is Anna Nash so agitated?’ he wondered. ’What is it about this baby that can’t be said?’

”Just use your head for a second,” Ivy said. ”Anna Nash just finished her postpartum confinement. She barely ever leaves the house. So how could she possibly have had the chance to go out and find another man? In this family, just because you can’t perform doesn’t mean others can’t.”

The moment Ivy Sherwood’s words came out, the expression on every Blackwood family member’s face changed.

They might not be geniuses, but they weren’t idiots. The implication was so obvious, how could they not guess?

Silas Blackwood froze. Sylvia Blackwood covered her mouth, and Mrs. Blackwood’s expression was even more priceless.

They all turned in unison to look at Caleb Blackwood on the floor. ’Could this child be...?’

”MMPH... MMPH...” Caleb Blackwood’s mouth was gagged, and he couldn’t say a word.

Anna Nash was an ambitious and calculating woman. There were other male servants in the house, but she wouldn’t necessarily look twice at them.

Only Caleb Blackwood...

”Impossible! That’s absolutely impossible!” Silas Blackwood refused to believe it.

His own wife and his own father... How could he possibly accept that?!

Just the thought of it was nauseating and repulsive.

Ivy Sherwood directly presented a series of evidence. ”This is hotel surveillance footage. The day you kicked Anna Nash out of the house, she checked into this hotel. Not long after, Caleb Blackwood followed her in. By the time Caleb Blackwood left, it was two hours later. What do you think they were doing during that time? Just chatting?”

”And here are videos from the last few days. Caleb Blackwood went to this hotel every day. Every day, he went to see Anna Nash.”

”As for the rest, why don’t you go through your wife’s phone? You might find another surprise,” Ivy Sherwood reminded him amicably.

Anna Nash’s phone was lying on the floor. Silas Blackwood hesitated for a moment, then picked it up.

He didn’t know her passcode. It seemed like Anna Nash was always changing it. ’Does she have some ulterior secret hidden in there?’

Although he didn’t know the passcode, phones now have facial recognition. He went outside, had someone restrain Anna Nash, and simply scanned her face with the phone. It unlocked instantly.

Silas Blackwood opened her chat history. Anna Nash was cautious; she had deleted all the records.

There was only a single encrypted album on the phone.

”What’s the password?” Silas Blackwood tried several times without success, so he had to ask Anna Nash.

Anna Nash just shook her head, refusing to say anything.

’That album has the videos of me and Caleb Blackwood. I absolutely cannot let anyone else see them!’

From the side, Quentin Blackwood clicked his tongue. ”Tsk. How troublesome.”

”For the sake of you being my dear nephew, your uncle will help you out one more time. You,” he ordered, ”go crack the password for him and recover the chat history.”

The men Quentin Blackwood brought with him were all-around experts. Since they came to watch a show, they weren’t about to let the drama end here.

Silas Blackwood also wanted to know the whole truth, so he handed the phone over directly.

He couldn’t be bothered with propriety anymore. His father and Anna Nash were the shameless ones first!

He wanted to know what else this family was hiding from him. He had been played for a fool. It turned out he was the most naive one in this house.
