The Strongest Urban Son-in-law

Chapter 353: Chapter 352 Liu Wenbin

At that moment, the crowd parted to make way for a man in a suit, wearing gold-rimmed glasses, walking out from among them. This man had a refined and cultivated air, giving off a profound feeling. Two subordinates followed behind him, both of them radiating a heavy Blood Qi.

Feng could tell at a glance that these two subordinates of the scholarly man were powerful experts with Inner Strength at Great Perfection, possessing formidable strength.

The scholarly man walked into the crowd like a crane standing among chickens, exuding an invisible sense of oppression.

Upon seeing the scholarly man, Zhou Biao, Fang Yuan, and Zhang Hang all tensed up, revealing worry in their eyes.

The blonde young man who had been beaten by Shi Fei and Liu Ji was right beside the scholarly man.

At this moment, the blonde youth stepped forward, pointing angrily at Shi Fei and Liu Ji, ”Brother, it was these two jerks who hit me earlier!”

The scholarly man nodded slightly, his eyes showing disdain, ”You, always told to study Martial Arts properly, but you just don’t listen. Now look, you’ve been bullied by two little brats.”

The blonde man looked helpless, ”Brother, you know my personality. I don’t start trouble; why do I need to learn Martial Arts?”

”Tell me, what happened?” the scholarly man asked the blonde youth.

Just then, Liu Ji stepped forward, ”Mr. Liu, it’s me, Liu Zhengxong’s son, Liu Ji!”

”Big Brother, do you know him?” Shi Fei excitedly asked Liu Ji.

Liu Ji nodded lightly, ”Of course, I do. He is the owner of the Dragon Ascending Hotel, Liu Wenbin, Mr. Liu I told you about previously, understand?”

”That’s great! He’s Mr. Liu!” Shi Fei got even more excited, embracing his girlfriend, ”Qianqian, there’s no problem now, if Mr. Liu knows the person, there’s nothing to worry about.”

At that moment, Liu Ji approached Liu Wenbin, ”Mr. Liu, there was a misunderstanding today, I really am sorry. How about this...”

”Slap!” Before Liu Ji could finish his words, Liu Wenbin raised his hand and delivered a heavy slap to Liu Ji’s face.

The crisp, loud sound clearly reached everyone’s ears, leaving Liu Ji stunned.

”Mr. Liu, what do you mean? It’s me, I’ve had dinner with you and my dad before!” Liu Ji said anxiously.

Liu Wenbin nodded nonchalantly, then raised his right hand and delivered another backhand slap.

”Slap!” The crisp sound echoed once again, and everyone was stunned.

Liu Ji’s face swelled up, his eyes showing surprise, never expecting Liu Wenbin to show him such disrespect and slap him twice in a row.

Liu Wenbin looked at Liu Ji indifferently, ”Kid, of course I recognize you, I’m not that forgetful! My younger brother will tell us what happened. Did I ask you to speak?”

”I...” After hearing Liu Wenbin’s words, Liu Ji closed his mouth, not daring to speak further.

Liu Wenbin turned to the blonde youth, ”Tell us, what exactly happened?”

The blonde youth nodded, ”Here’s what happened: I was in the bathroom smoking, flicking ashes too hard and accidentally sent my cigarette flying, which landed on this woman, burning a hole in her clothes. I apologized immediately and offered to compensate her.”

The blonde youth swallowed hard before continuing, ”But then, she said I couldn’t afford it, I offered her five thousand yuan, but she demanded a hundred thousand! Brother, look at her clothes, they’re not even a famous brand, how could they be worth a hundred thousand yuan? Isn’t this just trickery? I dropped the five thousand and was about to leave, but she slapped me.”

”At first, I let it go since she was a woman, and one slap was enough for me to bear. But she tried to slap me again, so I blocked it and grabbed her wrist; who knew she’d start screaming for help? Then these two scumbags rushed up and beat me, even tearing my clothes and trousers!”

”Is that so?” Liu Wenbin’s expression grew exceedingly dark after hearing the blonde youth’s story.

If this was the case, the blonde youth wasn’t entirely to blame; after all, he had apologized and made restitution and still got slapped. But Qianqian was unrelenting, which seemed excessive.

In the end, Shi Fei and Liu Ji had brutally beaten him, ripping his clothes and trousers.

At this point, Liu Ji’s expression completely solidified, turning extremely ugly. He didn’t expect Qianqian to be so unreasonable, she had already taken advantage, yet she still couldn’t let it go.

Liu Ji looked at Qianqian and asked, ”Qianqian, is what he’s saying true?”

”That’s right! He simply can’t afford my clothes,” retorted Qianqian indifferently, not yet realizing the gravity of the situation. ”This dress was the first gift Shi Fei gave me, it holds significant meaning for me. Besides, he’s just a petty thug, what’s wrong with slapping him twice?”

”Bitch!” Liu Wenbin immediately slapped Qianqian across the face.

Instantly, Qianqian was dazed by the slap, tears swirling in her eyes, she screamed loudly, ”Shi Fei, you jerk, you see I’m getting hit, what are you stupidly standing there for?”

”Waste him!” Liu Wenbin coldly ordered, and all of a sudden, several men rushed towards Shi Fei. Bottles flew at Shi Fei’s head, and with cries of pain, his blood flowed freely as the men closed in, beating him like a storm, Shi Fei screaming all the while.

Finally, Qianqian’s expression turned ugly, and she hurriedly pleaded with Liu Ji, ”Liu Ji, isn’t Shi Fei your good brother? Help him quickly!”

Liu Ji’s face was pale with embarrassment, never imagining that such a thing would happen.

”I... I can’t afford to mess with them...” Liu Ji said with difficulty.

”What!” Qianqian was stunned. Usually, with Liu Ji’s backing, Shi Fei would bully others at school, fearing no one but the top four young masters, but now he had finally met his match.

Liu Ji helplessly said, ”Mr. Liu, can you please spare my classmate for my dad’s sake?”

Liu Wenbin scoffed coldly, ”You shouldn’t have mentioned your dad; that just makes me angrier!”
