The Hero Became a Succubus, and the Only Way to Level is to… What?!

Headmistress Marnie joined Kanae and Alisyn in the morning cooking class for a special announcement. Every student was present. Not a single one was tardy or absent. Just the day after expelling him, they were already beginning to see Motta’s negative influence vanish before their eyes.

Students were reasonably nervous that the headmistress was here. Some shifted anxiously in their seats. Worried whispers exchanged across the room.

”Don’t fret, students.” Marnie positioned herself in front of the class. ”We only have a minor announcement for you. I haven’t been entirely honest with you. Some of the more keen among you might have already figured it out. Ms. Eileen isn’t a real person. Your cooking teacher is actually Empress Kanae Toyomi, who wanted to surprise you!”

Just like that, the entire class erupted in surprise. The male students in particular, their jaws dropped to the desks. Those that Kanae recognized as part of Motta’s clique and participated in regularly screwing her tensed up. They shrunk a little, though a certain something between their legs experienced the opposite effect.

The headmistress continued, ”This was all the empress’ idea. She wanted to see how the school and students were doing while disguised. And her verdict…”

”I’m very happy with everything I saw here!” Kanae flashed a warm smile. ”It gladdens my heart that so many young people are eager to learn. I also had a lot of fun interacting with some of you.” She winked. ”As a reward, I had the castle cooks prepare a feast for the class. Maybe it will inspire you to continue learning and study harder. Come in!”

Alisyn opened the door to let in a fleet of cooks from the castle. They carried large trays and wooden bowls of food fit for royalty. The savory smell quickly filled the air, eliciting growls from many hungry stomachs. Roasted boar, an orchard of fruits and vegetables, and even sweet desserts. Each and every person in the room was ready to dig in.

”Manners, students. What do you say?” Marnie folded her arms.

”Thank you, Empress Kanae!” they roared back with a resounding answer.

”I’ll be teaching here until the end of the week. I hope we can continue to get along. Now, don’t hold back and eat to your heart’s content!” Kanae urged.

No one at the school ever went hungry. Arenade made sure of that, and Brightwind Academy had a fully-stocked and staffed cafeteria to serve both students and faculty alike. However, it was definitely many students’ first time gorging on delicacies and lavish meals. They were particularly taken by the desserts.

Since the cat was out of the bag about Kanae’s true identity, some students came up to her to reveal that they suspected her all this time, expressed adoration, and asked questions to no end. Word quickly spread through the school and eventually reached Kanade and Suvee’s ears.

The elven daughters came rushing in while classes were still in session.

”Moooooom!” Suvee slammed into Kanae with a hug. ”You were here this whole time and never told us? We could have played a lot!”

”I know, I’m sorry. But this was supposed to be a surprise for your older classmates. If I told you I was here, you would have gone and told everyone. Wouldn’t you?” Kanae grinned.

”N-No…” The dark elven girl glanced away.

”Mom, look. I got another A+ in my math test today.” Kanade showed her an examination paper graded with full marks.

”Your girls have been exceeding every teachers’ expectations. Kanade continues to be a model student, and Suvee has been improving by leaps and bounds,” Headmistress Marnie explained.

”That’s great! You both are doing so great in school, I can’t be more proud! I’ll have the bakers make your favorite ginger cookies and cake as a reward. How about that?” She enveloped them with her wings.

Suvee cheered, and even Kanade’s usual stoney demeanor cracked with glee.

As the period ended, the other classes got their chance to gorge on the bountiful feast. Empty trays were refilled. Anything that had gotten cold was reheated on the in-class stoves and ovens. Empress Kanae’s presence was the talk of the entire school, even among the faculty since only Alisyn and Marnie knew.

After school, the headmistress walked Kanae out to the courtyard. She had a hard time peeling away from female students, who wanted to know all about her romantic escapades. Unfortunately for them, she kept a tight lip on what could appropriately be told to them.

”I can’t thank you enough, Kanae. The students loved you, and in my experience, students don’t love their teachers at all!” Marnie laughed.

”I’m just glad I was able to lift their spirits.” Kanae waved back to the group of students as she left.

”Part of me wishes you could continue being a teacher forever, but I know you have your duties as the empress. On another note, I’m still worried about Motta. I can’t help but feel that the school and I failed him.” She ashamedly casted her gaze to the ground.

”For some people, school just isn’t the right fit for them. You did your best. That’s all that matters. Leave the rest to the army. It’ll shape him up.”

Headmistress Marnie bowed in gratitude as Kanae lifted off into the air for Ehmvier’s barracks. Following Motta’s dismissal from Brightwind Academy, she conscripted him into the army. He wasn’t going to have a room at the school anymore and, without a job, would have been homeless. The alternative was to keep him on a tight leash in the army. At least there, he had a place to stay.

The Ehmvier barracks wasn’t very big. Situated on the northwestern fortifications, it consisted of a single garrison for officers, two barracks that housed around several thousand soldiers from across the Commonwealth, and a modest training field. During the Ortesian invasion, it was the first place hit when Petyr besieged the city and thoroughly crippled the army.

Soldiers stopped sparring when Kanae landed. They saluted her or dropped down to one knee until she motioned for them to be at ease. She entered the main garrison, which was buttressed against the city’s fortification wall. A patrolling guard escorted her up to the command post, where her friend turned orc Manabe was reading books at his desk.

”I never thought you would read anything other than a manga,” Kanae teased.

”Oh, hey, Kanae! I’m surprised, too.” Manabe scratched the back of his head. ”But after the last two wars we fought, I realized just how terrible of a military leader I am. It really isn’t anything like in movies or books. I have actual lives in my hands. So, I figured the least I can do is study as much as possible to make up for my lack of experience. Estaline gave me a lot of military and history books to learn from. God forbid if there’s ever another war, I’ll be ready!”

”Sounds like the Commonwealth is going to be in good hands. I know I put a heavy responsibility on your shoulders, but you were the right choice after all. Maybe I should be visiting more often to express my thanks.” She came around the desk and rubbed up against him.

Running a hand gently across Manabe’s chest turned him into jelly. The outline of a big orc dick formed on his pants. With her other hand, she traced a finger along his earlobe, then leaned down until her breasts were pressed to his trembling back.

Feeling mischievous, Kanae slipped underneath the desk and tugged Manabe’s pants down. A large cock sprung up to her face, smelling of strong masculine musk. Her tongue rolled out to lick the pale green pole.

”Commander! Weekly report” a soldier shouted from the other side of the door.

”Crap! I completely forgot! K-Kanae, we have to stop… This is… ooohhh… important” Manabe shuddered.

”Why don’t you let him in. No one has to know I’m in here. Haaumpph~” Kanae lowered her head to get a few inches in.

”Okay… Uhm, come on in! I’m ready for your report!” he announced back.

Two pairs of footfalls entered the room.

”Task Officer Tolley and Grunt Isan reporting!” they exclaimed, heels clicking together.

”Tolley, Isan… Make it quick,” Manabe said.

Kanae went deeper until she was deepthroating the orc cock. Her hands massaged the throbbing balls. He trembled even more, threatening to expose what they were doing.

”Not very exciting news this week, Commander. Latrines are backed up. The city should consider constructing a sewage system, especially as Ehmvier’s population continues to grow,” Tolley said.

”We’ve ordered new equipment. They should be here by the end of the month. Enlistment is up after the war in Savir. Commonwealth patriotism is at an all time high,” Isan added excitedly.

”That’s good! That’s… oh… good…” Manabe squeaked.

”Commander, are you okay?” one of the soldiers asked.

”Y-Yeah! Just a little under the weather. Is there anything else?” He tried to hurry them along.

It was obvious Manabe was getting close. Kanae bobbed faster. She ran circles around his glans with her tongue. His legs were shaking and feet curling.

”There is one problem. The issue with the new recruit. Motta, the incubus. The guy just lazes around. He’s been hitting on female soldiers, and many of them aren’t having it. During training yesterday, he tried to flirt with Captain Rissanne instead of following orders, so…” Tolley hesitated to continue.

”Rissanne is… nnh… the dark elf, if I recall?” Manabe wondered aloud.

”Yeah,” Isan confirmed. ”Strictest officer we ever had the pleasure of serving under. She, uh… didn’t take his insubordination well, and beat the crap out of him.”

Kanae fastened her lips and tightened her throat around Manabe’s cock. He exploded with an incredible amount of cum, which she had a hard time swallowing every last drop.

”Oh, god. Oh, goooooooood!” Manabe grabbed the back of her head, forcing it down even deeper.

”I know, right? I had the same reaction! Captain Rissanne’s always calm and collected,” Isan said.

”Er. You know what, Commander? You’re not looking too hot. Why don’t you get some rest. Isan and I will come back later to finish the report…” Tolley suggested nervously.

”Sounds good.” He took his hand off her head and waved them off.

When the door closed shut, Kanae emerged from under the desk and wiped the cum dripping from her chin.

”I think the Task Officer realized,” Kanae said apologetically.

”You think?” Manabe sighed, then rose from his seat to show that he was still rock hard. ”Now look at what you’ve done! What are you going to do about this?”

”I’ll let you fuck me later tonight. Show me to Motta. Sounds like he’s having a hard time fitting in.” She headed for the door.

Manabe sulked and followed after.

Unlike the school which had communal quarters and private bedrooms, the barracks did things a little differently. Soldiers were divided into companies, and each company had their own barracks wing. In each company, they were split further into squads of 20-30. Squads occupied a sub-dormitory within each wing, encouraging unit cohesion and companionships.

Ehmvier might be the most diverse city in the world, but races thrived being amongst their own. These squad divisions facilitated that while also keeping them close to those of other races. Since Motta was the sole incubus living in the city, as far as Kanae knew, Manabe had no choice but to put him in with a squad unit that didn’t mind mixing.

When they arrived at Motta’s squad room, he was the only one around lying in bed and had an ice pack pressed to his right black eye.

”Oh, it’s you. Unless you’re here to fuck, I don’t want to hear shit.” Motta laid back down.

”No sex. Looks like you tried propositioning someone, but that didn’t work out.” Kanae sneered.

”Yeah, well… That bitch was lucky I lost interest!” he fired back.

”Kanae says you’re from Earth like us. Is that true?” Manabe asked.

Motta gave him the side eye, then finally sat up to face them.

”What about it?” Motta glared.

”I mean, you’re not alone! There’s a few of us here, too. Who were you before?” Manabe sat on a nearby bed.

”Ugh. I’m not here to make friends with guys, but fine. I’ll humor you. Judging by your names, you’re both from Japan. Same. 42, never had a job in my life, just delivered food for a living around town, no girlfriend or wife, and lived alone for most of my life. I was on my usual route when some truck ran a red. Woke up to this dwarf demigod, who offered me a new lease in life,” he explained.

Similar, sure, but they came to this world very differently compared to Motta. Kanae wondered if a lack of excitement in his previous life led him to acting this way. Living alone was very hard, and she knew that very well having been the same.

”Yeah, we didn’t like our past lives either. But we all carved out a nice life for ourselves. Ichi has a big family with three draph wives. Takumi’s married to Ingrid, and they have a kid. I get to regularly have sex with Kanae when she’s around!” Manabe exclaimed.

Kanae rolled her eyes.

”I had a harem of my own until you guys got in the way. Now, I’m some stupid grunt? I should be some kind of hero or ruler! Where’s my kingdom?” Motta complained.

”I didn’t come to found a nation just sitting on my ass. How about you stop trying to seduce women and give working on yourself a try. I’m not going to give you special treatment, but as an incubus and being crowned gives you a huge advantage over a lot of people. My army also pays well, and you do need a new place to sleep,” Kanae said.

”Fuck it.” He threw his hands up. ”I’m stuck here anyway. But I get to hit on chicks whenever I want in the city, alright?”

”Sure, sure. You’re of adult age anyway and not in school anymore after Marnie expelled you,” she relented.

They got Motta started on training right away. Kanae and Manabe supervised him. The trio descended to the training fields, handed the incubus a sword, and had a Golemancer create a stone golem for him to fight.

Suffice to say, Motta was a terrible fighter. He slashed and hacked away at the golem’s tough exterior, succeeding only in horribly chipping the sword.

”Hey, what level did you create the golem at?” Kanae leaned over to lamia Golemancer and asked.

”It’s only level 5, Empress. This is the second to lowest summon I have,” she whispered back.

Level 5, and Motta was having trouble destroying it?

”Have it fight back,” Kanae said, hoping the danger would make him take it seriously.

The golem, which had been nothing more than a mannequin and punching bag, came to life. Motta took a step back, taken by surprise from it moving. He looked at them for help.

”Don’t look at us. Kill it!” Kanae shouted.

”What does it look like I’ve been trying to do?!” Motta cried, only to get punched in the gut by the golem.

The incubus dropped and hurled out his breakfast. Before the golem made another attack, its creator ordered it to stop.

”He’s a lot weaker than I expected…” Manabe murmured.

”To be fair, I was the same way. When I was level 1. But I noticed something. Motta, what class are you crowned with? And at what level?” Kanae asked.

”Ow… I’m a level 10 Duelist…” Motta replied while still in agony.

”Wait, what? You’ve lived here for years, and you’re only level 10?! Incubi gain experience from having sex like me, right?” She cocked her head.

”Yeah. Least, I think so. What level are you?” He stood up, groaning.

A lot had happened since the last time Kanae checked. She brushed the sigil on her wrist to bring to the menu.

”You’re 289?! HOW?” Motta’s jaw hung open.

”I pretty much have sex with anything and anyone that has legs.” Kanae thought for a moment longer and added, ”Without legs, too, I guess. You hooked up with how many women and still haven’t crossed triple digits?”

”Dunno. They were all just regular people. I considered joining an adventurers hall for the sole purpose of having sex with adventurers, but I get kicked out of groups after just one quest.” He clicked his tongue.

Well, with that level of fighting skill, it was no wonder groups didn’t want him. He was practically deadweight.

”Maybe don’t do it with the intention of having sex with adventurers… And stop hitting on your superior officers and fellow soldiers. Give it some time, and we’ll see where you’re at then. If this doesn’t work out, we can find something else more up your alley. Keep training. Manabe and I are going to have a… meeting,” Kanae said, linking arms with the orc.

”Finally!” Manabe cheered.

”Oh, come on. You bastards don’t have to rub it in my face!” Motta cried deflatedly.
