The Hero Became a Succubus, and the Only Way to Level is to… What?!

The beach started thinning out during sunset. It went from thousands to a few hundreds as people returned home to turn in. Not Kanae and her companions though. They stayed at the beach under blue sky painted over with an orange and purple brush, still wrapped in the ambient heat that lingered. Others around them had raised little tents to camp out for the night, or headed to the taverns along the boardwalk for a drink.

As for Kanae’s group, however, they had piled a bunch of kindling and dug a hole for a fire pit. She watched as her friends roasted the kraken fry to eat. There was still a bucket full of them.

”Kanae, what are you waiting for? Dig in! I didn’t know kraken and a little bit of spice could taste so good!” Arenade brandished a skewered fry in her face.

”N-No… I think I’m good…” Kanae grimaced at the sight of it, unable to reconcile eating what she had given birth to earlier.

”More for me.” Her wife shrugged and devoured another kraken.

While Arenade returned to the fire for more, Kanae rolled her eyes and wandered over to the shore where Theena was gazing out to the sea.

”Not hungry?” Kanae asked.

”As much as I’m a fan of kraken delicacies, eating something that came out between your legs is a little…” Theena shot a look to the others around the fire.

It wasn’t just Arenade. Thored, Renya, Seven, and Kara were happily eating and drinking without a care in the world. What happened with the kraken almost dragging the harpy boy into the depths of the ocean seemed like an afterthought.

Everyone was enjoying themselves. They looked like any other group still out on the beach, enjoying what was left of the night.

”Yeah… I feel the same. So, what’s the plan after this? Can’t imagine it’s going to be safe for a former agent of the Harpy King,” Kanae said.

”Well, I’m not really an agent. Just another adventurer they hired. Paid a little extra to watch Seven. As long as I stay with him, I don’t think they plan to make any moves against us. We’re actually planning to head back into Savir. Not to confront the Harpy King or anything. Monsters are stronger there. We still want to become Veterans together. I can’t say it enough, but… really, thank you. If not for you, I wouldn’t have known what I was about to lose.” Theena smiled thoughtfully at her friends laughing by the fire.

”You can thank me all you want, but you made the choice to stay in the end. All I can say is you made the right choice. I lost Arenade once when she died. I’d do anything just to make sure that doesn’t happen ever again,” she explained.

Theena nodded as she listened intently, then cocked her head.

”Did… Did you say she ’died’?” Theena gasped.

”Hehe. Yeah, our adventures are a little out of your scope.” Kanae grinned.

”I kind of got that feeling from how strong you all are. By the way, I kind of want to address the dire beast in the room. Did you get those tattoos on purpose, or did you lose a bet?” She pointed to the ink on Kanae’s chest and upper right thigh.

Both tattoos showed obscene language, and they were on full display for everyone to see. Kanae put a hand to her face. No wonder people were throwing her salacious looks all day. It wasn’t just because she was a succubus. Her tattoos were quite literally asking for it!

”Guh. Would you believe me if I told you this was enchanted ink?” Kanae asked.

After sharing a laugh, the two returned to the others. Seven and Kara yawned deeply. Playing all day took a lot out of them, and the kraken scare probably didn’t help… despite them so ravenously eating the babies now.

”I think it’s time we head back. We have a long day ahead of us traveling into Savir tomorrow morning,” Theena said.

”Ehhh? But I wanna stay up!” Seven protested from behind Arenade, who was giving him a piggyback ride.

”Yeah, what’s the hurry? We still have a full bottle of wine and a bucket full of kraken,” Arenade added.

Theena turned her attention to Kara, who was beginning to nod off where she sat. The feline beastman could barely keep her eyes open, let alone follow what was going on. Renya was seated beside her, offering a shoulder for the girl to lean on. The adults, on the other hand, were hardly tired.

Eventually, Seven relented. He was also getting tired and couldn’t exactly hide it. Theena picked up Kara onto her back, and together with Seven, said their ’good nights’ before heading to a tavern.

”Wait, those three are leaving tomorrow?” Arenade asked.

”To Savir, apparently. We can go, too. But I think I need to check back with the Grand Eye before we consider another vacation,” Kanae said.

The happiness on Arenade’s face vanished with the mention of going home. Her smile flipped into a frown.

”Ugh. I don’t want to go home! I don’t wanna!” Arenade dropped to the ground and threw a tantrum.

”Seven acted more mature than you!” Kanae groaned.

”Man.” Renya sidled up and rested an elbow on her shoulder. ”I didn’t know those tykes long, but I’ll miss ’em. If you guys need someone to sail you to Savir, let me know. I’m your pira— captain!”

They glared at the dark elf, wondering if she had any ulterior motives for going to Savir. After settling matters with Vizier Duran the other day, Renya had returned to make some backroom deals between Kandis and Rown Company. Whatever those deals were, neither Kanae nor Arenade were privy to. They would just have to hope she wasn’t up to no good.

”Anyway… The evening is still young. Since the kids are gone, what do we want to do next?” Kanae asked.

”You can go do whatever. I’ll be right here soaking what’s left of the sun.” Arenade laid back down on the beach towel and sighed blissfully.

”I wasn’t planning on telling you this until later, but are you sure you stay out any longer?” She folded her arms.

”Of course, I do. Why?”

When no one answered her, Arenade sat upright and stared at them. It took Thored conjuring a thin pane of water that acted like a mirror before she got an answer. Her expression turned to dread, both hands to her own shocked face, and mouth hanging open.

Half a day in the sun had tanned Arenade so much that she looked like a Japanese gyaru. The sun screen gel didn’t do what it was supposed to do. Her deeply tan skin was in stark contrast to the blonde hair and white bikini. It wasn’t a bad tan, where someone turned red or orange. She just looked like a somewhat lighter dark elf now.

”How did this happen?! I was lying under the beach umbrella! The sun screen, too… Kanae, you must have swapped it out with your jizz or something!” Arenade cried accusingly.

”I did not rub jizz on you! You probably got scammed by whoever sold you the sun screen. Don’t try to pin this on me. It’s not my fault you look like a roasted pig,” Kanae fired back.

”Chin up. We look like we could be sisters now!” Renya crossed an arm with Arenade, and their complexions were incredibly similar.

Arenade fell to her knees in despair.

”My beautiful, porcelain skin… Damn the sun!” Arenade raised both hands into the sky and proceeded to curse at the Supreme One for some reason.

Some people just tanned easily. Apparently, Arenade was one of them. Or maybe it was just a high elf thing.

”Kanae, I don’t mean to alarm you, but you have also been sun-tanned,” Thored said.

”I am?” It was harder for Kanae to tell, but she had always been prone to some light tanning when under the sun long enough. She peeled back her swimwear and there were in fact two distinct complexions. Obviously, not as dark as Arenade. The bikini tan was kind of hot though. Because of the slingshot bikini, she probably had a very visible light V compared to the rest of her tanned body.

Arenade though…

Kanae was getting turned on just thinking about how Arenade looked naked with that bikini tan. She needed to know.

”Ugh… My Kanae-is-horny senses are tingling… You keep your dirty paws off me!” Arenade warned, backing away with both arms guarding her chest.

”I just want a little peek. Really quick! We can even go into those changing booths over by the restrooms!” Kanae creeped forward like a predator ready to pounce.

To everyone’s surprise, however, Arenade gave in.

”On… Only for a little bit then…” Arenade said, twirling her hair in one finger and appearing incredibly demure.

Kanae gulped hard.

”Thored, Renya… We’ll be right back!” Kanae grabbed Arenade’s hand and pulled her over to the changing booths.

They were a series of wooden scaffolding with large clothes draped over them. None of them seemed to be occupied at the moment. Everyone was already changed into their bathing suits or were turning in for the night anyway.

As soon as Kanae and Arenade entered, their lips were locked faster than a blink of an eye. Neither of them needed to work hard in getting each others’ bikinis off. They slid right off their shoulders and dropped down to their ankles. Gaps and tears in the booth’s privacy barrier let what little light was left in the day bleed in.

Kanae peeled her lips away first and couldn’t stop staring at Arenade’s tan. The complexion was still porcelain where the strings and fabric of the bikini had covered the elf’s body. That divine skin Arenade always boasted about was mostly gone.

”Are you satisfied now?” Arenade asked, deeply red instead of tan now.

”Not yet. You guys got to eat earlier. It’s my turn.” Kanae kneeled down between Arenade’s snatch.

The contrast of white and tan had a very clear border just above her trimmed patch of pubic hair. Kanae pressed her tongue to the entrance of Arenade’s pussy and licked hungrily. Her high elven wife shuddered. Cute moans erupted in brief quips.

Arenade covered her mouth with one hand and grabbed Kanae’s horn with the other. Very quickly, the booth grew humid with their panting breaths and body heat. She leaked so much. The juices from her pussy tasted like honey. Her clit was engorged and in need of teasing.

It didn’t take long before Arenade climaxed. She was so easy to bring to an orgasm. Unfortunately for her, Kanae wasn’t satisfied yet.

”Wait, Kanae… what are you— aahh!” Arenade nearly jumped when Kanae slid her tail inside the soaking entrance.

”I’m still hungry. Just give me a little more.” Kanae reached up to pinch and tug on Arenade’s nipples.

The high elf’s eyes rolled back.

”Oh, gods… Kanae… Mmmh!” Arenade moaned even louder, completely lost to lust and not realizing they were technically still in public.

Shlick! Shlick! Shlick! Shlick! Shlick! Shlick! Shlick! Shlick! Shlick!

Kanae pistoned her tail into Arenade’s pussy like it was a dick. She leaked so much, it might as well be a broken faucet. Even so, Kanae slurped up every last drop.

”Come on, be honest with me~ When the dryad made you answer truthfully, you said you like my cunnilingus the best, didn’t you?” Kanae asked teasingly.

”Yes… I like it… Your tongue is driving me up the wall with pleasure! I’m seeing stars! I’m cumming! Your tongue is making me orgasm agaaaaaain!” Arenade howled.

The climax was so powerful, Arenade squirted. Kanae moved away just in time as she wetted the sand beneath their feet. Her knees gave out, and she fell to the ground on her butt first, then onto her back. Kanae climbed on top, tail still inside her pussy, and kissed the trembling kiss.

They exchanged spit, and Kanae gave Arenade the taste of her own juices. The sand was getting everywhere, even to their unmentionable places. That didn’t stop Kanae’s hunger, and she nibbled on Arenade’s nipples which brought her to another climax.

”You’re… insatiable— mmh…” Arenade couldn’t finish the rest of her sentence with Kanae making out with her again.

”And you’re so cute when you turn into jello in my hands,” Kanae cooed affectionately.

”Hmph. You should be telling me I’m amazing, talented, and the most capable high elf in the world. Not cute.” She pouted.

It had been a while since Kanae got head. They exchanged kisses for a few more minutes before she wanted Arenade to return the favor.

”Just a little bit?” Kanae asked.

”Fine. I get you off, then we go back to the others,” Arenade said.

Score!

Arenade remained lying on the ground, waiting for it. Kanae got up and brushed some of the dirt off her lap. She was about to sit down on Arenade’s face when her wife shouted ’wait’. Too late. Kanae had planted her muff down. When she got up and saw a layer of sand all over her mouth, it made sense.

”Ptooh… peh! A mouth full of sand definitely killed my libido,” Arenade groaned.

Both of them figured they had enough. Until they got back to a room at least. They dressed in their swimsuits again but couldn’t hide how disheveled each other were. It was obvious what happened.

Thored and Renya were waiting back at the beach spot, still munching on the kraken. The former Necro Lord had a very big erection, and he was hiding it poorly with one leg crossed over the other.

”You two sure know how to put on a show. The whole beach heard!” Renya laughed.

”Eh?” Kanae and Arenade scanned the beach, and some people were throwing them embarrassed looks.

The pirate lord jumped up and threw an arm around each of their shoulders.

”Hearing you go at it like animals got everyone all hot and bothered. Why don’t we grab a room over at one of those hotels to continue with all four of us?” Renya asked.

”What? Me included?” Thored gaped.

”If you horny bunch want to keep going, be my guest! I’ve got better luxuries to enjoy!” Arenade pushed Renya’s arm away.

”Arenade and I are still on our honeymoon, so I’m going to stick with her. Maybe another time.” Kanae winked.

A look of disappointment washed over Thored. At least until two Renya clones grabbed an arm each.

”Come on, big guy. I’m enough for my own orgy!” Renya, with her clones pulling Thored along, headed to a tavern on the boardwalk.

Kanae left them to their fun and followed Arenade into the water to wash the sand off their bodies. The waters, even though it was getting dark, were still nice and warm.

”Oh, you can actually swim? Figured you were as scared as a cat being on land all day.” Kanae joked.

”What do you take me for? I can swim perfectly fine! I just have little reason to. I’m probably a better swimmer than you,” Arenade challenged.

”I’m not falling for another race and risking a kraken showing up.” She shook her head.

Arenade swam a little farther ahead. The setting sun was sandwiched between the cove’s rocky entrance. Its distorted form stretched across the waters. Kanae hugged her from behind when she caught up. Together, they drifted in the water in each others’ arms.

”Hey, so… I’m sorry for getting us caught up in another international crisis during our honeymoon. Should I have told Vizier Duran to screw off when we had dinner with him?” Kanae asked.

”You’re still in hot water, but I forgive you. It just means you need to make it up to me on our anniversary next year. I’ll need a heavy dose of being spoiled, pampered, and complimented at least five times a day, every day while we’re on vacation. Understood?” Arenade turned to face her.

”Yes, dear…” She expelled a long, drawn-out sigh.

Anniversary, huh? Kanae couldn’t help but feel giddy. They really were a married couple now. The two cuddled while drifting listlessly in the calm waters. As the sun set, stars began to show themselves by the hundreds with the blanket of night pulling across the horizon.

”You know, I’m kind of amazed we’re able to stay afloat like this,” Kanae said.

”Kanae, I swear to the Supreme One… if you make a joke about the buoyancy of my boobs, I’m drowning you.” Arenade’s threat shut her right up.
