Urban Martial Saint

Old Madame Shen said up to this point, her voice had noticeably weakened a lot, and it looked like she couldn’t hold on much longer.

Seeing Old Madame Shen’s determined look, Ye Qing said no more, approached her, and said: ”Old Madam, if you have any instructions, just give them. Even if I have to risk my life, I will accomplish it for you!”

”With...with your words, I...I’m relieved...” Old Madame Shen showed a hint of comfort on her face, looked at Huangfu Ziyu, and said softly: ”This matter, not only...not only do I ask you, but...but also Zi Yu...”

”Master’s wife, no matter the matter, I promise you!” Huangfu Ziyu immediately replied.

”That...that’s good then...” Old Madame Shen took a breath, coughed up a couple of mouthfuls of blood, weakly grabbed Huangfu Ziyu’s hand, and said in a low voice: ”Ye Qing, Zi Yu, Shen Family Manor has already...already ceased to exist. I...I am at the end of my rope, and the Heavenly Lord’s situation is unknown. The Corpse Ghost Dragon will definitely...definitely try to exterminate our Shen Family. Other members of the Shen Family, after escaping, all...all have the means to protect themselves. But, Qingyi and Ling Wei, those two sisters, not a...not a bit of martial arts skill. If they lose the family’s protection and leave Shen Family Manor, who knows how many people will covet them. Ye Qing, Zi Yu, I...I can no longer protect them. I...I beg the two of you, help me...help me take care of those two sisters. Zi Yu, I know, this...this is a bit unfair to you, but...but I...I...I...”

At this point, Old Madame Shen’s body suddenly started shaking violently, blood kept gushing from the corners of her mouth, and even breathing became extremely difficult.

”Master’s wife!” Huangfu Ziyu grabbed Old Madame Shen’s hand, and said solemnly: ”Don’t worry, I will definitely take good care of Qingyi and Ling Wei. You haven’t wronged me, it’s I who owe the Shen Family!”

Hearing this, Old Madame Shen’s face finally showed a hint of relief. She turned her head to Ye Qing, extended a hand, her face full of expectation.

Ye Qing gritted his teeth, slowly nodded, and said: ”Old Madam, rest assured, I will definitely take care of the sisters with Zi Yu!”

”With...with that, I am relieved...” Old Madame Shen sighed deeply, suddenly began vomiting blood in large mouthfuls, and her body gradually shrunk down.

”Master’s wife! Master’s wife!” Huangfu Ziyu cried out in alarm, continually calling out.

”Quick!” Ye Qing handed over the Devouring Demon Flower, trying to put it into Old Madame Shen’s mouth, but she used the last of her strength to push it away.

”No...don’t waste the medicine, just take care...take care of those two...” After saying this last sentence, Old Madame Shen’s head slumped to the side. A legendary woman of her time, ultimately perished here!

Seeing the lifeless Old Madame Shen, Huangfu Ziyu couldn’t hold back anymore, tears streaming down her face. As for the other members of the Shen Family, many began to sob. Even strong men like Shen Da and Shen Er were full of tears, utterly grief-stricken.

”Corpse Ghost Dragon!” Huangfu Ziyu gritted her teeth, suddenly stood up, and said sternly: ”I will surely kill you!”

The members of the Shen Family all flew into a rage, standing beside Huangfu Ziyu. Though they didn’t dare to speak, their attitudes were firm.

Ye Qing’s eyes were also filled with tears. He slowly laid down Old Madame Shen, turned to look at the members of the Shen Family, and said in a low voice: ”Zi Yu, the priority now is to save people. All of you are seriously injured, not suitable for a direct confrontation. I have healing medicine here, take it first, recover your strength, and then leave Shen Family Manor. Once I’ve saved the others, we’ll meet in Shenchuan City!”

”Ye Qing, we’re afraid we can’t leave!” Shen Da said in a low voice: ”The Corpse Ghost Dragon poisoned us, making it impossible to leave Shen Family Manor. Once we step out, it’s certain death!”

”It’s alright, this medicine can cure all poisons!” Ye Qing took out the Devouring Demon Flower and gave each member of the Shen Family a piece.

”Give me one too, give me one too!” Handsome Fatty Wang hurried over, brazenly trying to snatch one.

”Aren’t you not afraid of poison?” Ding Lianshun mocked.

”Ah, better safe than sorry!” Handsome Fatty Wang shamelessly snatched a piece from Ye Qing’s hand, stuffing it into his mouth and swallowing it in one gulp.

”What is this?” Handsome Fatty Wang smacked his lips, and said: ”Didn’t taste anything, went straight down. Ye Qing, I didn’t taste it, is it effective or not? How about giving me another piece?”

”Get lost!” Ye Qing said irritably: ”You’re eating it like Zhu Bajie eats Ginsengfruit, and still have the nerve to ask for another piece.”

Beside them, Shen Da and the others vomited shortly after eating the Devouring Demon Flower. What they expelled was black water, which seemed to indicate that the flower had detoxified them. Handsome Fatty Wang was the same; after vomiting, his spirit improved markedly.

”Alright, now you go into the tunnel. We’ll go out and rescue the others, bring them to this dungeon, and you take them with you!” Ye Qing whispered.

The Shen Family members didn’t delay. They knew their situation well, staying here wouldn’t help much. So, everyone followed Ye Qing’s instructions, sneaking into the dark passage with Handsome Fatty Wang, and leaving Shen Family Manor from underground.

Once everyone departed, Ye Qing and the other two quietly slipped out of the dungeon. At this time, the manor was still noisy. The group summoned by Corpse Ghost Dragon seemed like a bunch of hooligans, treating Shen Family Manor as their playground.

Ding Lianshun whispered, ”There are still two Peak Masters stationed here, plus so many Top-Level Masters. Quietly rescuing people won’t be easy. If these people are alerted, it’ll be troublesome; rescuing won’t be that easy!”

”I do have a solution!” Ye Qing whispered, ”If we can gather all these people together, it will make rescuing much easier.”

”Gather them together?” Huangfu Ziyu looked at Ye Qing, whispering, ”What do you mean?”

”In a moment, Mr. Ding and I will go in through the front gate, pretending we know nothing, and we’ll confront these people head-on. After causing a commotion, the masters will surely come to support. This way, we’ll attract them all to the front.” Ye Qing looked at Huangfu Ziyu, ”Mr. Ding and I will buy time at the front, while you sneak to the back to rescue people when everyone is at the front. Won’t it be much easier this way?”

”This plan is good!” Ding Lianshun nodded and said, ”I think it’s feasible!”

”But it shouldn’t be you and him buying time at the front gate.” Huangfu Ziyu said sternly, ”I’d better go with him over there. I have the Sun Shooting Bow and can float in the air. These people can’t defeat me easily.”

Ye Qing’s heart warmed. He knew that Huangfu Ziyu was thinking of his well-being by saying this. After all, Ding Lianshun was a Peak Master, and Huangfu Ziyu, with the Sun Shooting Bow, also had peak-level skills. While Ye Qing had inner strength of a Peak Master, he couldn’t exert the skills of one. He was naturally less skilled compared to these two. If he were to clash with these people at the front gate, he’d certainly be in more danger.

”Miss Huangfu is quite right!” Ding Lianshun said sternly to Ye Qing, ”I have the Carefree Movement, there’s no problem with speed. The two of us at the front gate will definitely buy more time. Ye Qing, you wouldn’t have any advantage in buying time, it’d be better for the two of us to go!”

Since Ding Lianshun said so, Ye Qing sighed, grabbed Huangfu Ziyu’s hand, and whispered, ”Zi Yu, be careful!”

”I will!” Huangfu Ziyu nodded to Ye Qing, paused slightly, and whispered, ”Remember, you must save Qingyi and Ling Wei!”

”Mm!” Ye Qing nodded firmly, in fact, he was very concerned about Shen Qingyi and Shen Lingwei.

”In that case, it’s settled then!” Ding Lianshun whispered, ”Miss Huangfu, the two of us will go out through the dark passage, come in through the front gate, and attract everyone to the front. Ye Qing, wait for our signal. Once you see everyone gathered at the front gate, start action immediately!”

”Alright!” Ye Qing nodded, and the three set the plan. Ding Lianshun and Huangfu Ziyu immediately returned to the dungeon and exited through the dark passage.

Ye Qing hid in a tree outside the dungeon. During this time, he quietly observed the situation inside the manor. Now, being close, he finally saw the sights Handsome Fatty Wang had mentioned. In a few courtyards, indeed some people were surrounding a few girls and venting their animalistic instincts. These girls were either part of the Shen Family or the family maids, now turned into tools for these people’s venting, which ignited anger just by looking!

At the same time, Ye Qing also noticed that some courtyards were especially well-guarded. Especially at the courtyard where Shen Qingyi stayed, there were a dozen people at the door, clearly marking it as a heavily guarded place. Inside the courtyard, several women seemed to be busy. From this situation, this courtyard was likely where Shen Qingyi was imprisoned.

In this brief time, Ye Qing became somewhat acquainted with the layout inside Shen Family Manor, waiting for the opportunity to act. It wasn’t long before a shout sounded from the front gate of Shen Family Manor.

Ye Qing’s heart moved; he knew that Ding Lianshun and Huangfu Ziyu had executed the plan and reached the manor gate. He immediately hid his body within the leaves to prevent being discovered by anyone passing by.

The chaos at the manor’s front gate indeed attracted many people over. Ye Qing could clearly see from the tree that people were emerging from several heavily guarded courtyards. Among them emerged a beautiful woman, none other than Yin Xianzi!

Upon seeing these people, Ye Qing suddenly realized these heavily guarded courtyards were mainly with masters inside. Apparently, the important people weren’t inside them after all.
