School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 748: Chapter 825: The Brave One Against a Hundred

After taking the call from the Poison Wolf, Chen Nan went back inside the house.

He greeted Han Haihe and the others, said he needed to go out for a bit and would be back soon, then left the house.

According to the detailed information Poison Wolf had found, Chen Nan headed straight for a restaurant three miles away. According to the information, the place had been booked today by Hero Zhang Da, who was treating his younger brother Zhang Xiaoxia and the gang members under him to a meal, celebrating his takeover of the businesses that used to belong to Han Haihe.

Arriving outside the restaurant, Chen Nan strode inside.

As soon as he entered, he was blocked by a door-watching gang member: ”Hey, kid, we’ve got a private event here today. Go eat somewhere else.”

”Who said I’m here to eat? I’m here to find something,” Chen Nan said, heading straight inside.

Two gang members hastily reached out to stop him: ”What are you looking for? Come back tomorrow.”

”How can I do that when my pet scorpion that I’ve had for many years has gone missing? Somebody saw it enter this restaurant, and I must find it; what if it hurts someone?”

A scorpion?

The two gang members were stunned for a moment, then understood.

This ”scorpion” the guy was talking about was certainly an insult aimed at their boss, Zhang Xiaoxia, known as the Poison Scorpion. ”You fucking asking for death, picking a fight on purpose?”

The two gang members cursed and swung their fists at Chen Nan.

As the fists were about to hit Chen Nan, the eyes of the gang members showed a ferocious look. But at that moment, a figure flashed, and Chen Nan was gone.

The gang members’ faces changed dramatically.

The one on the left was utterly bewildered, scanning the surroundings for traces of Chen Nan, while the one on the right was struck with terror, pointing behind his companion and shouting, ”Watch out, behind you!”

However, his warning was a step too late.

”To hell with you.”

Chen Nan kicked one of the gang members in the butt, sending him stumbling forward and face-planting on the ground in a solid dog-eats-shit fall.

Several teeth were knocked out, and he screamed in agony while clutching his bloody mouth.

”Fuck you, motherf...”

The other gang member cursed while lunging at Chen Nan, but before he could finish his sentence, Chen Nan slapped his words away and, grabbing him by the neck, lifted him off the ground like he was picking up a chicken, carrying him inside.

The commotion outside had already alerted those inside, and a leader with more than a dozen gang members rushed out, while in the main hall, over a hundred more gang members were eyeing menacingly.

”Kid, who the hell are you to come here looking for death?”

Chen Nan glanced at the leader, a fat man in his thirties, and with a flick of his right hand, he threw the gang member he was holding towards them. The fat man didn’t dodge in time and ended up sitting on the ground with a curse.

”Where’s Zhang Xiaoxia? Tell him to get his ass out here,” Chen Nan said indifferently.

”Damn it, that hurt! Beat him up! Beat him to death!”

The leading fat man bellowed, his face twisted with ferocity. Instantly, more than a dozen gang members swarmed toward Chen Nan, as if they were going to devour him.

The fat man sneered, seemingly already enjoying the sight of Chen Nan battered and bruised.

However, the outcome he was anticipating didn’t come to pass. Instead, as they came closer, a surge of black Qi swept the gang members off their feet, sending several of them crashing into the walls and vomiting blood, their injuries severe.

The fat man’s expression turned ugly, and he began to tremble.

Could this kid possibly know some sort of sorcery?

As he tried to get up and flee, Chen Nan flashed forward, grabbed him with one hand, and walked into the hall. Over a hundred gang members, who were dining, stood up, cracking their knuckles and staring at Chen Nan.

Chen Nan glanced at the crowd, fearless: ”Anyone with sense, get out of the way.”

”Brothers, let’s go together and cripple this son of a bitch!”

A gang member with higher status barked an order, and instantly, more than a hundred gang members charged at Chen Nan.

The current Chen Nan, after reversing his demon techniques, already possessed the cultivation of the Fourth Level of Taoist, comparable to the combat power of Nine Layers of Imperial Path. Back in the day at Sky Sword Mountain, not even the Beidou Formation of forty-nine people could trouble him. Now these hundred or so ordinary people stood even less of a chance against him.

Qiankun Great Shifting!

Chen Nan, holding the fatty with one hand, swept the other hand through the air, releasing waves of Demonic Qi that surged like the vast ocean, enveloping all the hundred-plus people within it.

The hundred or so underlings felt their bodies suddenly constrained, unable to move in the slightest.

”Rise!”

Chen Nan raised his palm upwards, and the power of the Qiankun Great Shifting lifted the hundred-plus people into the air.

In an instant, all the underlings were suspended mid-air, a full three meters off the ground, with their screams ceaseless in their terror.

”Overestimating yourselves.”

Chen Nan threw his hand downward, and the powerful Demonic Qi roared down, smashing all the hundred-plus people onto the ground.

There was a chorus of agonized screams as these underlings fell from mid-air, seriously injured, with some unfortunate ones even breaking their legs.

In the restaurant, there was a pathetic wailing as everyone looked at Chen Nan with eyes filled with fear.

Is this guy even human?

How could one person have such immense strength!

And the fatty held in Chen Nan’s grasp had turned deathly pale, so frightened that he was close to wetting his pants.

”You... you practice sorcery, you demon, let me go! Big brother, I was wrong, please let me go...”

The fatty kept shouting, everything that had just happened seemed mythological to him, which is why he was convinced that Chen Nan must be a demon who had used sorcery.

”If you don’t want to die, then shut up.”

Chen Nan smacked his ear, continuing to walk, and said, ”Tell me, where is Zhang Xiaoxia?”

The fatty, trembling, said, ”Inside... inside the big private room.”

”Lead the way.”

Chen Nan set him down.

Shivering all over, the fatty led the way very reluctantly. Inside the hall, the hundred or so underlings lay on the ground, watching but not daring to make a sound.

Standing outside a private room, the fatty’s voice trembled: ”Big... big brother, it’s in here.”

”Bang!”

Without a word, Chen Nan kicked the door in.

There were six people inside the private room, besides the Zhang brothers, the rest appeared to be the ringleaders of the thugs. Someone cursed, ”You fat pig, are you looking for death?”

The fatty, scared out of his wits, quickly shook his head: ”Boss... it wasn’t me who kicked it.”

”If it wasn’t you, was it me then?”

Chen Nan glanced at him, then threw him into the private room, knocking over the table, angering the six people inside to jump up.

Chen Nan walked in, pointed at the one who had spoken earlier, and said, ”You must be Poison Scorpion Zhang Xiaoxia, right?”

”Yes, it’s me, grandpa, what about it?”

”Nothing much, take this!”

Chen Nan kicked Zhang Xiaoxia, sending him flying against the wall; his head spun, and as he rolled his eyes, he cursed incessantly.

...
