School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 723: Chapter 800 The Junior Sister Has Arrived

After leaving the mansion, Chen Nan didn’t drive.

For him, within such a short distance, driving was not the fastest means, so the chicken should be able to carry him and fly, right?

Chen Nan turned his gaze towards the Black Feathered Chicken on his shoulder.

Feeling Chen Nan’s eyes on it, the Black Feathered Chicken got the sense it was being stared down by a venomous snake, sending shivers down its spine, ”What are you looking at, kid? Get moving!”

”Brother Chicken, let’s discuss something.”

Watching Chen Nan’s grinning face and his sudden change in calling it, the Black Feathered Chicken felt even more that something was not right, ”You brat, are you plotting something sneaky again?”

”How could that be? I felt a kindred spirit with Brother Chicken from the start, close as limbs, how could I ever deceive you?” said Chen Nan with an air of righteous indignation as he grabbed the Black Feathered Chicken from his shoulder, ”Come on, transform into your true form.”

The Black Feathered Chicken landed on the ground and turned into a giant rooster, as tall as a table.

”What on earth are you up to, kid?” It eyed Chen Nan warily.

Chen Nan chuckled, bent down to stroke its back feathers, and said, ”Brother Chicken, in the future, we will have to fight side by side. If we encounter a strong enemy and I can’t fly, I’ll have to rely on you.”

”What!”

The Black Feathered Chicken burst into an angry flutter.

It pecked at Chen Nan, cursing, ”Your sister, you actually want Chicken Lord to be your mount, no way!”

”Don’t get so worked up. Think about it, we’re like a team now, as close as brothers. If we encounter an enemy, of course, we’ll fight together. But what if the enemy can perform Sky-controlling Flight? Are you going to face the enemy alone, leaving me to watch from the ground?”

Chen Nan appealed to the chicken’s emotions and reasoned with it.

The Black Feathered Chicken shook its head and said, ”If we really encounter a strong enemy, that’s another story. Chicken Lord might consider giving you a lift, but now you want a ride? Don’t even think about it; Chicken Lord may be a beast, but even beasts have their dignity.”

Chen Nan shook his head, ”That’s where you’re wrong. If we don’t practice now, how can we coordinate perfectly in the future?”

The Black Feathered Chicken tapped its head with its wings, pondering.

After a while, it shook its head, ”No, absolutely not. Chicken Lord won’t carry you for nothing. You have to give me something good in return.”

”Why are you so stubborn? You perch on my shoulder all the time, and I’ve never asked you for anything in return!” said Chen Nan, ”How about this, I have some explosive news. If you carry me for a bit, I’ll tell you what it is.”

Upon hearing this, the Black Feathered Chicken curiously asked, ”What news?”

Chen Nan smiled without a word.

The Black Feathered Chicken glared with its chicken eyes, said irritably, ”Quit the dilly-dallying, hurry up and get on.”

Chen Nan leaped onto its back.

Since the Black Feathered Chicken wasn’t very large and its back wasn’t too wide, Chen Nan had to sit cross-legged, so as not to impede its wing flapping.

Of course, standing was also possible, but sitting was simply more comfortable.

”Let’s go.”

The Black Feathered Chicken flapped its wings, creating a whirlwind of dust and sand, and soared into the sky with Chen Nan.

After reaching a height of a hundred meters, the Black Feathered Chicken asked, ”What’s the explosive news? Spill it to Chicken Lord now, or I’ll do a few somersaults and have you fall and break your shell, you damned turtle.”

Chen Nan was speechless for a moment.

This damn chicken was really sly; no wonder it chose to fly so high, it was to threaten him.

”I encountered a magician this morning.”

The Black Feathered Chicken Spirit was thrilled and excitedly said, ”A magician from Western legends? Are you sure?”

Chen Nan said, ”Of course, I’m sure. He admitted himself that he’s a magician, and I’ve fought with him too. It’s exactly like what the ancient texts describe.”

The Black Feathered Chicken was greatly surprised and said, ”Wasn’t that cultivation system extinct a thousand years ago? How can there still be someone practicing it now?”

Chen Nan shook his head, ”You ask me, who do I ask?”

”Ask your master!” the Black Feathered Chicken clamored. ”Chicken Spirit has an intuition that the old man’s cultivation is even stronger than mine was back in the day, and he definitely knows a lot more.”

”Why do you feel that way?” Chen Nan was a bit surprised.

The Black Feathered Chicken shook its head, ”I can’t explain it exactly, but I just have this feeling. Maybe... he’s even older than I am.”

”Older than you?”

Chen Nan was greatly surprised. This chicken was already more than six hundred years old, could that old fellow be even older?

Chen Nan felt it was unlikely, but he couldn’t deny the possibility. Although he had grown up with Xuan Tianji, he never knew his age, only that since he could remember, the old man’s appearance had never changed in the slightest.

”This is just my guess, but you should ask that old man when you get the chance,” the Black Feathered Chicken said. ”Also, the sudden appearance of a magician definitely isn’t as simple as it seems on the surface.”

Chen Nan felt that the Black Feathered Chicken made some good points.

Driven by curiosity, he pulled out his phone and dialed Xuan Tianji’s number.

But, as usual, just as the call connected, Xuan Tianji hung up and rejected it.

Feeling helpless about his worthless master, Chen Nan could only send him a text message: ”Old man, I saw a magician today. Could there be some conspiracy hidden behind this?”

After a good while, Xuan Tianji finally replied with a message: ”I figured it out long ago, you little rascal. Don’t fucking disturb me when I’m chasing girls, or else you’re going on the blacklist.”

Chen Nan was speechless.

This dead old man was really full of vigor, still chasing girls at his age.

From his fiery text message just now, who knows on which sleeping girl’s bed he was exerting himself this time.

”Ah, at such an old age, still visiting prostitutes, too inattentive to his health.”

Chen Nan sighed and told the Black Feathered Chicken about the text message. He thought it would sympathize with him, but to his surprise, the chicken showed deep respect and even clamored that the old man was its idol, and that tomorrow it would also go find some hens to enjoy a happy life, aspiring to be a chicken with pursuits and dreams...

Chen Nan couldn’t be bothered to despise it and, pointing in the direction of Huo Xinya’s house, quickly flew off towards there.

Upon arriving at Huo Xinya’s door, Chen Nan waved at the Black Feathered Chicken, making it clear that he didn’t need it anymore, and that it could leave. This pissed the Black Feathered Chicken off so much that its feathers stood on end as it cursed Chen Nan for being disloyal because of beauty and finally, after crowing a few times to the sky, it flew away.

”Xinxin, I’m here.”

As soon as Chen Nan knocked on the door, it opened with a ”crack,” and when Chen Nan looked up, the person standing at the doorway was not Huo Xinya, but—

”Yi... Yiyi, you’re here too!”

Chen Nan was visibly taken aback. Although his relationship with Huo Xinya had been earnestly facilitated by his junior sister, he still had the odd sensation of being caught red-handed in an affair.

Ye Yiyi beamed with a smile, ”What, you’re not happy to see me?”

”Happy, of course, I’m happy!”

Chen Nan hugged her tightly and laughed, ”It’s just that suddenly seeing you, it’s like you caught me and Xinya in an affair, the excitement is overwhelming.”
