School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 739: Chapter 816: Ou Yifei’s Request

Chen Nan chuckled and let go.

Ou Yifei thought he was just kidding and didn’t take it seriously; they walked into the cafe together.

Because Ou Yifei had already reserved a private room, after giving their names, the staff led them inside.

Inside the private room, they sat opposite each other.

Having just met and now alone together, Chen Nan suddenly had the feeling of being on a blind date and laughed, ”Did you notice, when you entered the lobby just now, you startled so many men that they spilled their coffee down their fronts?”

Ou Yifei took a sip of coffee, propped her hands on the table, and looked at him: ”Are you indirectly praising me for being beautiful?”

”Your beauty doesn’t need my compliments,” Chen Nan glanced around with a teasing smile. ”This is a couple’s private room, right? I somehow feel like we’re here for a matchmaking session.”

”Stop teasing me.”

Ou Yifei smiled lightly, joking, ”I chose this room because it’s smaller and not very expensive.”

After some idle chat, Chen Nan said, ”I heard from that crazy woman that you seem to have run into some trouble?”

”Crazy woman?”

”That’s Qin Yixuan, the lunatic,” Chen Nan explained. ”That’s what we usually call her, I’m used to it.”

”I also feel she is quite crazy,” Ou Yifei nodded and said, ”I do have some trouble. Xuanxuan couldn’t help, and she said you were the only one who could help me.”

Chen Nan said, ”What is it? As long as I can handle it, I will not refuse.”

”Then I thank you in advance.”

Ou Yifei, somewhat agitated, fell silent for a while before saying, ”Actually, I just want to investigate a case. I used to have an older sister, but she died three months ago. The police said it was a car accident due to drunk driving, but I suspect she was murdered because she never drank. She would feel sick just from the smell of alcohol.”

Chen Nan listened attentively and asked, ”Do you have any other clues?”

Ou Yifei nodded, took out a USB drive from her bag, and placed it on the table, saying, ”I found this in my desk when I was clearing out my room the other day. It belonged to my sister.”

”What’s inside?” Chen Nan inquired.

Ou Yifei looked at the USB drive, paused for a bit, and then said, ”Don’t laugh at me when I say this, but my sister had a rather open private life. Inside here, there’s a video of her sleeping with the mayor of Ningjiang City, Fang Qinghai. So, I suspect her death has a lot to do with Zhao Qinghai.”

Chen Nan scratched his head, ”But why would Fang Qinghai want to kill her?”

In the video, there’s also a conversation between my sister and Fang Qinghai. It seems like my sister had some dirt on him and was asking for ten million. Fang Qinghai didn’t seem too keen and said he needed to think it over,” Ou Yifei explained. ”I think that’s the motive for Fang Qinghai committing murder.”

”Your analysis makes sense.”

Chen Nan looked at the USB drive on the table and asked, ”Can we watch the video?”

”This...”

Ou Yifei hesitated for a moment before nodding, ”Alright, then.”

Chen Nan stood up, ”Wait here for a moment, I’ll get a laptop.”

”No need, I have a tablet here,” Ou Yifei said as she took out a ten-inch tablet from her bag and plugged in the USB drive.

Sitting across from each other was not convenient for viewing, so Chen Nan moved to sit next to her.

As the video started, a man and woman were seen walking through a few rooms, kissing and groping each other, their clothes falling off piece by piece.

The woman bore some resemblance to Ou Yifei but wasn’t quite as beautiful, probably a ninety-percent beauty—definitely Ou Yifei’s sister, Lu Fei. As for the man, he looked to be in his forties, probably the Mayor Fang Qinghai.

Watching the two people in the video undress completely and roll around in bed intertwined, Ou Yifei’s face turned crimson with shame.

Chen Nan also felt a rare bout of embarrassment.

After all, he had just met Ou Yifei not long ago, and now they were sitting in the same room watching this kind of material. Although it was in search of clues, it was definitely an excruciating experience for the young people.

To avoid the awkwardness, Chen Nan subconsciously took out a pack of cigarettes, thinking about lighting one up.

But on second thought, considering the enclosed box and Ou Yifei right beside him, he refrained.

”Go ahead and smoke, it’s fine.”

Ou Yifei said, even more embarrassed than Chen Nan, her tone somewhat harsh.

Chen Nan shook his head: ”Better not, I don’t want to bother you with the smell.”

By now, the two in the video had begun their intense battle, and the breathless sounds accompanied by embarrassing moans kept coming out: ”That feels so good... ah, harder...”

Ou Yifei, her face already crimson to the base of her neck: ”How about... we fast forward?”

”Don’t, you might miss an important clue just by fast-forwarding,” said Chen Nan earnestly. He wasn’t watching this to flirt with Ou Yifei but to look for clues.

The atmosphere was more awkward than ever.

Apart from the sounds coming from the video, there were only the breathing sounds of Chen Nan and Ou Yifei.

Fortunately, the video wasn’t very long, just two or three minutes of work. As Fang Qinghai let out a low roar, looking like he was about to finish, Ou Lu Fei suddenly clung tightly to him, preventing him from moving, and said: ”Darling, can you give me ten million?”

”Baby, let me finish first, and we’ll talk afterwards,” Fang Qinghai said.

Ou Lu Fei held on tightly and wouldn’t let go: ”No, you need to give me an answer now. Are you reluctant to let go?”

”Baby, you want to suffocate me, don’t you?”

Ou Lu Fei asked: ”Are you going to agree or not?”

Fang Qinghai hesitated for a moment, then said: ”Let me think about it.”

Ou Lu Fei snorted, pushed Fang Qinghai off her, and pointed at him: ”Don’t forget, you still have vulnerabilities in my hands.”

”Lu Fei, don’t be like this.”

”It’s not what I want, but having been together with you for so long, you’ve given me nothing, not a bit of security,” Ou Lu Fei said. ”You don’t have to give ten million, as long as you divorce your wife and marry me, I can do without the money.”

Fang Qinghai emphasized: ”Ou Lu Fei, don’t be unreasonable.”

”With your vulnerabilities in my hands, what can you do about me being unreasonable?” Ou Lu Fei snorted coldly. ”I believe that if I sell what I have in hand to your political enemy, someone would definitely be willing to pay ten million.”

Fang Qinghai’s face changed: ”Don’t, let’s talk nicely. Give me some time to gather the money.”

”Fine, I’ll give you three days. If the money isn’t in my account in three days, then prepare to be disgraced!” Ou Lu Fei said fiercely.

That’s where the video ended. It was clearly edited, leaving only this part in the middle.

”This is my sister’s room. She must have secretly installed a camera to film it,” Ou Yifei looked at Chen Nan and asked, ”Did you find any clues?”

Chen Nan nodded, very confident: ”The murderer is Fang Qinghai.”

(That’s all for today; I need to organize a bit and will update earlier tomorrow.)
