School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 646: Chapter 721: Broken Bones

After their intimate encounter, all the medicinal power of the Lingzhi was absorbed by Gongsun Yudie’s body, suppressing the damage inside her organs.

Chen Nan held her as they lay on the grass, feeling somewhat exhausted from transferring a great deal of Inner Strength to her.

”From being enemies to reaching this point today, it’s also a kind of fate,” he said.

Chen Nan’s fingers brushed over her cheek, intending to get up and dress, but at this moment, Gongsun Yudie’s eyelids twitched, and her eyes, filled with slight confusion, opened.

Seeing the scene before her, her face suddenly changed, and she let out a sharp scream—

”Ah! What are you doing!”

Chen Nan’s eardrums almost burst.

He hastily grabbed the clothes on the ground and threw one piece over himself and another over Gongsun Yudie’s body.

Seeing Chen Nan’s actions, Gongsun Yudie then realized she wasn’t wearing a single piece of clothing!

At this point, even an idiot would understand what had happened.

Gongsun Yudie’s expression turned extremely cold, her eyes filled with resentment as she pointed at Chen Nan, ”You...you beast!”

She cared about Chen Nan deep down, and could even say she liked him, but being possessed by him while she was unconscious was something she truly couldn’t accept, making her disappointed in his character and resentful that he did not respect her.

”Yu Die, listen to me,”

Chen Nan had anticipated this reaction and hastily explained, ”I did it to save you out of necessity; you were grievously injured, your body instinctively rejecting the Inner Strength I was giving. This was the only way I could heal you.”

Gongsun Yudie felt a bit better inside.

But she was still somewhat angry, saying, ”You should have asked if I was willing, how could you decide on your own to do this to me!”

”I did ask you, but you were unconscious and barely alive at that time, how could you have possibly responded?” Chen Nan said helplessly, sighing, ”If you really feel wronged, then I’ll let you ’sleep’ with me once as well.”

”You!”

Gongsun Yudie, who had just managed to stabilize her condition, was nearly made furious again.

As the Chief Disciple of Sky Sword Sect, her public conduct was meant to represent the sanctity of the Sect, yet now she had been compromised by Chen Nan...

Gongsun Yudie felt an urge to cry.

The man before her, she wanted to kill him yet couldn’t bear to, wanted to scold him but found herself unable to say it, her heart full of grievances.

Seeing her calm down a bit, Chen Nan smiled and said, ”I’ve even agreed to let you ’sleep’ with me once, so stop shedding tears now, women are made of water, and if those tears dry up, you’ll age.”

Sleep with him once...sleep with him once...

These three words, like a knife, constantly pricked at Gongsun Yudie’s sanity.

”If you say it again I’ll kill you!”

Gongsun Yudie gritted her teeth, quickly wrapping a jacket around herself, and then turned to put on her undergarments.

But when she finished dressing and looked up, she found Chen Nan had moved five meters away from her, smiling merrily at her, his gaze quite lecherous, ”What are you hiding for? I saw everything.”

Seeing Chen Nan’s lecherous gaze, Gongsun Yudie felt overwhelmed.

This jerk was so infuriating! If you’ve seen it, you’ve seen it; knowing it internally is enough, why must you stand there flaunting as if fearful you’re not angry enough?

Staring at Chen Nan with an icy expression, Gongsun Yudie’s eyebrows furrowed deeply.

Chen Nan chuckled and scratched his head, ”Anyway, I’ve already seen, so stop staring at me like that. Someone who didn’t know better would think our enmity runs deep!”

Gongsun Yudie clenched her fists tightly, really wanting to rush over and make him spit teeth.

”I’ve told you to stop staring, how about this, if you really feel wronged, I’ll strip naked right now, so you can have your fill of looking,” said Chen Nan as he began to undress.

”Shameless!”

Gongsun Yudie covered her eyes, exasperatingly saying, ”Stop it, I won’t stare anymore.”

”Isn’t this much better?” Chen Nan smiled, glanced at Su Qingqing, who was still unconscious, then sat down next to Gongsun Yudie, ”Honestly, why did you intervene earlier to help me? And you were just in time.”

Gongsun Yudie turned away, indifferently said, ”There’s nothing to ask; it was just a coincidence.”

”You think I’m a three-year-old? Can it really be that coincidental?” Chen Nan extended his hand to her shoulder, completely ignoring Gongsun Yudie’s expression, and said, ”Come clean, were you secretly following me?”

Gongsun Yudie did not confirm or deny.

She brushed off Chen Nan’s hand, stood up, walked to the side, picked up the Heavenly Sword broken in two, holding it in her hands with a somewhat sad affection.

The Sect had placed great expectations on her, entrusting her with the Heavenly Sword, the Sky Sword Sect’s most revered treasure. They ordered her to kill Chen Nan, but because of her emotions, she defied the Sect’s command, saving him and nearly losing her own life in the process. Even the Heavenly Sword was destroyed because of it.

The turmoil in her heart was something no one could understand.

Chen Nan walked over and looked at her, asking, ”How did this sword break?”

Gongsun Yudie glanced at him, remained silent for a while, and then said, ”When I fell off the cliff, I stabbed the Heavenly Sword into the rock wall, hoping to slow my descent. But the cliff was too high. By the time I was about to hit the ground, the Heavenly Sword couldn’t withstand the force and broke.”

”This was a major treasure of your Sky Sword Sect, and now it’s destroyed. Won’t your sect elders blame you?” Chen Nan was quite aware of his relationship with her and worried about her situation.

Gongsun Yudie shook her head. ”It’s just a weapon, it’s alright.”

Chen Nan took a Xuan Tie Sword from his storage ring, the hilt engraved with the word ”Unrivaled,” and handed it to her, saying, ”Although the Unrivaled Sword cannot replace the Heavenly Sword, its might is considerable. Take it.”

This was something he had looted from the Black Feathered Chicken’s weapon store, on par with the Fangtian Hua Ji he held in his left hand. Although it couldn’t compare with artifacts like the Demon Sword, it was still a superior blade.

But Gongsun Yudie turned away and shook her head, ”No need. The Heavenly Sword is broken, but I can still use the half that remains.”

”If I tell you to take it, just take it. Why argue?”

Chen Nan forcibly put the Unrivaled Sword into her hands and said, ”If it weren’t for helping me, you wouldn’t have ended up in this situation, so take this sword. Don’t feel like you owe me anything, it’s I who owe you.”

After hesitating for a while, Gongsun Yudie accepted the Unrivaled Sword.

She looked at Su Qingqing not far away, staring at Chen Nan and asked, ”Is she your girlfriend?”

”Why would you say that?”

”Because you like her.” Gongsun Yudie gazed towards the setting sun in the west and said, ”And I can tell, she likes you too. She would even give up her own life to prevent you from being dishonored.”

Chen Nan smiled and said, ”Then what? Continue your analysis.”

Gongsun Yudie’s expression turned somewhat forlorn as she said, ”Since you both like each other and care so deeply, I guess she must be your girlfriend.”

”Just because people love each other, does that make them a couple?”

”Isn’t that the case?”

”Not really.” Chen Nan shook his head. ”Then I like you too, and you like me. Why aren’t we a couple?”

”What are you babbling about, who likes you? Don’t flatter yourself.” Gongsun Yudie turned away, her heart pounding, and retorted stubbornly, ”Keep talking nonsense like that, and we won’t even be friends anymore, doomed to never deal with each other again.”

Chen Nan gave a resigned smile. ”Alright, I’ll stop talking. Happy now?”

Gongsun Yudie gave him a glance and sat down on the nearby grass.

Afterward, the two remained silent for a while.

Not until the sun was nearly setting did Gongsun Yudie finally speak. ”Once we leave here, I must return to the Sky Sword Sect. I can’t fulfill the mission to kill you and won’t come to see you again. If my Sect sends other disciples to kill you, they surely won’t be your match; I hope you will show them mercy then.”

Chen Nan frowned heavily.

He grabbed Gongsun Yudie’s slender hand. ”What do you mean you won’t see me again? Do you really want us to never deal with each other again?”

”What difference does it make whether we see each other or not?” Gongsun Yudie pulled her hand back, striving to calm her heart, and said, ”We are fated to be enemies. If there truly comes a day we meet again, it will be because I’ve resolved to kill you, to take your life. It will be either your death or mine. So I hope never to see you again because I don’t want you to die, at least not now.”

Chen Nan looked at her and said, ”Now that we are about to part ways, won’t you admit you have feelings for me?”

Gongsun Yudie remained silent.

After a long while, she shook her head and said, ”It doesn’t matter anymore. Even if I truly have feelings for you, we are destined to be enemies, and there can never be any outcome between us.”

”Are you so sure about that?”

Gongsun Yudie sank into silence again, but meanwhile, Su Qingqing, who was nearby, awoke. ”Idiot, my chest hurts so much.”

Chen Nan hurried over, anxiously asking, ”What kind of pain? Is it serious?”

He was somewhat puzzled. When he had checked Su Qingqing’s pulse earlier, it was normal, and there were no injuries to her internal organs. So why was she still in pain? Could it be an external injury?

”It’s right over my chest. It’s okay when I lie down, but the moment I move it pierces my heart with pain.” Su Qingqing clutched her chest and looked at Gongsun Yudie, saying, ”Thank you for saving me earlier, sister. Are you hurt from falling off the cliff?”

”No need to thank me, I’m fine.”

Gongsun Yudie calmly spoke, sitting down beside her.

Chen Nan squatted next to Su Qingqing, reaching towards her chest, but hesitated to touch further because where she was covering was somewhat awkward to handle.

Chen Nan scratched his head. ”Well, girl, move your hand away so I can see exactly what the injury is.”
