King of the Wilderness

(Must-read chapter for wilderness enthusiasts!)

Early October signifies that the long winter of Alaska is drawing near.

Life in the wood forest land has settled into a peaceful yet fulfilling family rhythm.

This afternoon, Lin Yu’an was accompanying Aliya, playing with the two crawling kids in the warm living room.

Ethan and Olivia had already learned to crawl, and were in a phase full of curiosity about the world. They chased the wagging tails of Whiskey and Honey on the carpet, occasionally letting out giggles.

Suddenly, the laptop connected to the Starlink Network emitted a crisp email notification sound.

Lin Yu’an glanced at the sender, his eyebrows slightly raised.

The sender was Mark, the executive producer of the ”Alone in the Wilderness” series.

The email’s subject was simple, just a sentence: ”Lin, you have one month to start preparing.”

”Attached are the detailed rules, take a look. Get back to me as soon as possible, don’t keep me waiting too long.”

”—Your old friend, Mark.”

After reading the email, Lin Yu’an showed a smile full of battle intent.

Lin Yu’an opened the PDF attachment titled [Wilderness Solo Living: Frozen Throne Contestant Equipment and Safety Agreement].

He projected this document onto the huge TV in the living room and began to carefully study it with Aliya.
