The Rebirth of the Fierce Little Cute Girl

Chapter 114: Chapter 114: Teacher Yang Returns

Hearing this voice, all the students of Grade 12, Class 2 looked towards the door. When they saw who it was, most of the students exclaimed in surprise, ”Teacher Yang.”

The visitor was Yang Liu, who walked in with a smile and directly picked up Yiyi’s workbook from the desk. When she saw the question marked wrong, her expression instantly turned cold.

”Mr. Liu, this question by Mo Yiyi is clearly correct. You marked it wrongly but still criticized her without understanding the situation. This is not right.”

”Ah... so it was indeed Mr. Liu who made the mistake.”

”Yes, so Mo Yiyi wasn’t lying earlier, she was actually right.”

”Since Teacher Yang says it’s correct, it must be right. Teacher Yang is always meticulous and has never been wrong.”

Some students whispered among themselves, and other students began to discuss as well.

Liu Ting blushed, wishing there was a hole she could crawl into. She never expected Yang Liu to show up here suddenly. Wasn’t she supposed to be so sick that she couldn’t make it? But now she looked very well.

But this wasn’t the time to discuss those things; Liu Ting had to resolve the issue at hand. So she pretended to pick up Yiyi’s workbook and exclaimed, ”Oh, it turns out I really made a mistake. I wrongly accused Mo Yiyi this time.”

Seeing Liu Ting’s behavior, a smirk tugged at Yiyi’s lips, her eyes showing a bit of mockery.

Yang Liu furrowed her brows even more, feeling that Liu Ting seemed completely different, inexplicably targeting a student without any demeanor of a teacher.

”Mr. Liu, from today onwards, I’ll be back to teaching, and I just went to the principal’s office. He agreed for me to continue teaching Grade 12, Class 2, so I’ll still be their English teacher.”

”What...”

Hearing Yang Liu’s words, Liu Ting was full of surprise.

”How is this possible, then which class will I teach in the future?”

Yang Liu smiled faintly and said, ”I don’t know about that. You should ask the principal.” As she spoke, she had already asked Yiyi to sit down. Then she looked at Liu Ting and said, ”This class just started, and it’s my first class back, so please leave, Mr. Liu.”

Liu Ting was still immersed in what was said earlier. Hearing Yang Liu’s words, her expression became distorted, ”But I’ve already started this class.”

”Mr. Liu, you clearly haven’t started the class yet. Just now, you were busy criticizing the students and didn’t even have the time to start the class.”

”You...”

Hearing this, Liu Ting felt her anger rising, ”Yang Liu, don’t go too far.”

”Liu Ting, it’s not me who’s going too far, it’s you.”

Seeing Yang Liu stand her ground, a warm feeling coursed through Yiyi’s heart.

The commotion in Grade 12, Class 2 eventually alarmed the principal, who intervened to send Liu Ting back to the office, while Yang Liu stayed behind to begin the class.

Fei Erya watched Yang Liu on the podium with delight, and whispered to Yiyi, ”Yiyi, it’s so great, Teacher Yang will be our English teacher from now on.”

”Yes, it’s really great.”

Yiyi’s face was all smiles, warmed by Yang Liu’s defense of her today.

When the English class ended, Yang Liu closed the textbook with a lively spirit. She glanced at Yiyi one last time, realizing they were at school and avoided being overly intimate to prevent other students from getting ideas. However, she specifically waited for Yiyi after school.

”Yiyi, Er Ya, come to our house for dinner tonight.”

”Teacher, not tonight, maybe another time. If we don’t go home so late, my mom might worry.”

Hearing Yiyi’s words, Yang Liu couldn’t help but laugh, ”Right, today was too sudden. You definitely didn’t tell your family, maybe next time then.”

Just then, Fang Cheng had arrived. He greeted Yiyi and looked at Yang Liu with indulgence, ”Liu’er, I came to take you home.”

”Teacher, we’ll head back first then.”

Yiyi raised an eyebrow, looked at Fang Cheng, then Yang Liu, feeling like she and Fei Erya were third wheels, and extra large wattage ones at that.

After Yiyi and Fei Erya left, Yang Liu glared at Fang Cheng. She felt that Yiyi’s gaze just now was a bit ambiguous, all because of A Cheng’s overly intense look earlier.

However, Fang Cheng found his wife’s glaring look charming, and couldn’t help but hold her hand as they slowly walked home.

Elsewhere, after Yiyi and Fei Erya got home, they started to eat. After dinner, the two of them diligently did their homework.

Ding Yuejun sat in the living room, slowly embroidering her piece. For this embroidery exhibition, she was preparing a piece to compare with the exhibits to see where her shortcomings lay.

When Yiyi came out to get water, she saw her mother’s gentle face and her busy hands, ”Mom, embroidering at night isn’t good for your eyes. You should do it tomorrow instead.”

”I’ll just finish this bit.”

Seeing her daughter, Ding Yuejun smiled and said, and indeed, she put down the embroidery hoop shortly after and looked at Yiyi, ”We’ll be leaving in a couple of days, make sure you’re prepared for what you need to bring.” Since they would be leaving a day early, they would need to bring a bit more stuff.

”Mom, don’t worry, I’ll definitely be prepared.”

By the end of the month, Ding Yuejun took Yiyi and Mo Shan and set off directly to the city.

Mo Xiaohong had to work, so she didn’t go, and as for Fei Erya, she wanted to stay home for a couple of days and didn’t go either.

It was Mo Shan’s first time traveling far, and everything seemed novel to her.

”Mom, let’s find a motel first.” After getting off, Yiyi led Ding Yuejun and Mo Shan to a nearby motel.

Watching her daughter lead the way and smoothly get a room at the motel, Ding Yuejun felt relieved, ”Yiyi, I’m glad to have brought you along. There’s nothing to worry about. If I came alone, I might be hesitant and nervous, not knowing what to do.”

”Mom, that’s because it’s your first time traveling far. Once you get used to it, I’m sure you’ll manage just fine.”

By the time their conversation ended, the three of them were already in the room. After putting their things down, the three of them went out for dinner.

Because the embroidery exhibition started early, the three of them went to bed early after returning to the motel and went straight to the exhibition early the next morning.

”Mom, this is the place, let’s go in.”

Entering the exhibition hall, they found that this embroidery exhibition was quite large. The vast space was filled with embroidery works, dazzling and overwhelming, and the hall was already filled with people, showing that everyone came early.
