Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2469: Chapter 1829: Old Foxes and Young Foxes (Part 2)

The thought came to this point; Tike vaguely heard Brown’s voice, ”Mr. Wen Yan, I believe you’ve made a decision, right?”

Soon, Wen Yan’s voice, carrying a smile, rang out, ”Someone, take note.”

”Former Deputy Executive President of the African region, Cilio, was momentarily agitated and sought personal revenge, a personal act of willfulness without serious consequences. Since he is currently suspended and caused no reputational damage to the group, the group will not intervene in private matters. Therefore, no action will be taken.”

This was clearly Wen Yan excusing Cilio, shameless, truly shameless, evidently taking their side!

Tike only felt a blockage in his chest.

”The heads of companies such as Fiewood, collectively accused of defamation, violated ethical norms, and indeed have issues of factionalism and private interest. A thorough investigation will be conducted immediately. As for the masterminds behind it, regardless of their position, they will not be tolerated!”

These words were clearly directed at him.

Tike felt like a fish thrown ashore, even finding it difficult to breathe.

”Thank you, Mr. Wen Yan, for your wise decision,” Mr. Brown said with a smile, ”And also, thanks to Mr. Bai Xiaosheng!”

Brown’s last sentence confirmed what Tike suspected.

Tike glared at Bai Xiaosheng, amidst the anger and Brown and Wen Yan’s words, his mind buzzed, unable to take in a single word.

”Tike, are you satisfied with this result?” Brown asked with a smile, turning to look at Tike, ”Do you have anything else to say, any other path to take?”

”Bai Xiaosheng!” Tike suddenly shouted these three words, his face twisted.

Then, he staggered and collapsed directly.

First, he shouted, disturbing the court. Under the judge’s rebuke and the crowd’s comments, he furiously shouted Bai Xiaosheng’s name and finally collapsed to the ground.

Tike, in his anger, passed out.

This sudden incident caused a slight commotion on the scene.

Many people shouted for a doctor, but this was a courtroom, no doctor was available, and staff hurriedly called an ambulance.

The judge also rushed over to ask if anyone on the scene knew any medical skills and could provide emergency first aid to Tike.

Among those present, there were no medical experts, only officials and businessmen with clerical aides, no one proficient in this area.

At this moment, Bai Xiaosheng spoke up, ”Let me, I have learned first aid, let me have a look.”

The crowd quickly made way, allowing Bai Xiaosheng to pass through.

Bai Xiaosheng was genuinely willing to help. After all, no matter how intense the workplace battles or grudges, rescuing someone comes first.

The crowd scrambled to move Tike to a spacious area.

This Mr. Tike was indeed quite hefty, needing three strong men to lift him, those with less strength couldn’t manage.

After Bai Xiaosheng approached, he conducted a rather professional check.

Though not a medical student, Bai Xiaosheng had Red Lotus, a super artificial intelligence, as assistance. Looking up some medical first aid knowledge wasn’t difficult.

After the check, Bai Xiaosheng confidently told those around him, ”Mr. Tike is of the obesity body type and has hypertension. This fainting was due to a moment of severe stimulation. We don’t have antihypertensive drugs or equipment to check the specific situation, so we can only lift his head slightly for postural hypotension. Turn his head to one side to prevent suffocation.”

Given the limited conditions on site, that was all they could do.

The judge couldn’t help wiping the sweat off his forehead, murmuring, ”So, being fat and having high blood pressure is this dangerous...”

This judge didn’t seem lightweight either...

In fact, many foreigners love high-calorie, high-fat, and sweeter foods, naturally resulting in more obesity...

Bai Xiaosheng patiently explained to them, ”Obesity and hypertension, many people think they aren’t diseases, but they’re actually very dangerous. If they exceed a certain limit and are subjected to external stimuli, sudden symptoms can occur. Timely, effective medication and exercise can save them, otherwise, it could indeed be the end.”

Bai Xiaosheng’s words in his temporary role of a medical person inspired frequent nodding among the judge and others, but no one noticed that Tike, after being tossed around, had taken a breath and woken up.

As a result, he vaguely saw Bai Xiaosheng looking at him and saying something like ”the end,” seeing the judge and Wen Yan, one shaking his head regretfully, the other nodding.

Tike felt a sudden ”thud” in his heart, an immense fear rushed to his head, his eyes rolled back, and he passed out again.

”Mr. Bai Xiaosheng, it seemed he woke up and fainted again, what happened?” someone saw it, couldn’t help but ask in shock.

Bai Xiaosheng paused, looking at Tike,

”Ah, this might be related to one’s state of mind. A calm mind suits a robust body, a robust body suits a calm mind. This means everyone should always maintain a calm heart and act according to their true intentions. Otherwise, you see, once they are stimulated, they’re more susceptible to disease...”

Bai Xiaosheng simply switched roles from a temporary doctor to a life coach.

In an instant, all the dignitaries around seemed to have had an epiphany, nodding frequently.

They indeed believed him.

Wen Yan smiled without speaking.

Brown, standing beside Bai Xiaosheng, looked at him and whispered, ”Thank you.”

This ”thank you,” Bai Xiaosheng knew what it was for, so he smiled, whispering back, ”You’re welcome.”

The trial thus came to a halt.

Later, Tike was taken to the hospital.

Wen Yan was to go directly from the courtroom to the airport, returning to headquarters to discuss what had happened here with the vice directors. So, he said goodbye to Bai Xiaosheng at the courtroom door.

Bai Xiaosheng was to return to his place, Brown immediately expressed his wish to take him personally, inviting Bai Xiaosheng to his car.

Bai Xiaosheng instantly turned to Hou Yuncheng to inquire, after all, he had come with Hou Yuncheng’s car.
