Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 505: Chapter 505 We Are Sure to Win by a Trick_1

Wang Qiang, a regular taxi driver in Zhongjing City, is 40 years old and has been driving for 12 years.

Every morning at six o’clock, he starts his car on time, buys a simple breakfast on the way, and finishes eating it in the car while listening to the radio, thus beginning his busy day.

If it’s still early, he’ll also check the news on his phone to see what’s been happening lately.

”Our city’s Xinjing Technology has introduced a flexible display screen production line this month. In the future, mobile phones might be able to curl up like paper. Currently, there are only five companies nationwide that can produce such technology,” a pleasant female voice described vividly on the radio.

”Awesome, that Xinjing... Technology, pretty impressive,” Wang Qiang muttered.

After eating, with time to spare, he casually browsed through the news.

Glancing over local news, Wang Qiang flipped through a few pages and noticed one story with a high appearance rate that seemed to be about a donation by a company called Xinjing Technology, which sounded very familiar.

”Isn’t this the same company that just produced the flexible screens, the first one to make a donation? This company has quite a philanthropic heart,” Wang Qiang remarked, putting away his phone and driving around the streets, while also turning on the ride-hailing app on his phone. The first thing that popped up was a popup ad, which he usually closed with a swipe of his hand, but today’s ad was an amusing joke that made Wang Qiang take a second look. At the end, he noticed a name.

”It’s Xinjing Technology again! They are advertising through a public account, interesting. I might follow it when I have some spare time,” Wang Qiang couldn’t help but say.

This company seemed pretty impressive and had a strong social conscience; their public account was quite entertaining as well!

Wang Qiang’s impression became progressively clearer.

Before long, his first customer boarded the taxi, seemingly a talkative outsider.

Inadvertently, the conversation turned to mobile phones, and the passenger praised UH Country’s curved screen phones.

”What’s so great about that? Let me tell you, curved screens are outdated. We’ve got a business here in Zhongjing. Oh, they’re especially great. They’ve developed some kind of flexible screen. In the future, you can fold your phone and snap it onto your wrist. How awesome is that!” Wang Qiang couldn’t help but laugh as he spoke.

”Flexible screens! There are enterprises in Zhongjing that produce these?” The passenger was surprised.

”That’s right. Our businesses here not only have great products but also have a strong sense of social responsibility. Plus, their public accounts are particularly interesting.”

”What company is it?” the passenger asked curiously.

Wang Qiang smiled proudly, this time remembering clearly, ”Xinjing Technology! It’s local to us!”

Similar events were happening in every corner of Zhongjing.

News spread across the internet and was pushed nationwide. It was believed that after some time to ferment, the results would soon become evident.

Xinjing Technology was one of the twelve high-quality enterprises selected and was very fortunate to become the first company jointly promoted by the Media Alliance.

Major media websites posted about their achievements and developments, while numerous self-media discussed topics about them, even unrelated ones would mention them. Various apps added their ads, and major TV and radio stations also featured related content.

The core of all this operation was Zhongjing Media!

Bai Xiaosheng had directly used the largest boardroom and turned it into a special workspace.

He had called over five of the most powerful writers, ten seasoned editors, more than twenty designers and artists, and over ten operating service personnel, continuously sending out various articles and promotional materials.

Seventy to eighty people worked at full capacity on these tasks.

For such a number of people from a company of over a thousand employees, it wouldn’t affect Zhongjing Media itself; however, it did bring the Media Alliance’s core role into full play!

Song Yiming and Song Jiajia were the on-site coordinators.

Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying, together with a few people, were tasked with recording the workflow here and documenting the feedback on the dissemination effects from all sides.

Website click-through rates, response rates, like rates... APP download numbers... public account follower count, like counts... viewership and listenership rates...

All these metrics, gathered together, accounted for the Media Alliance’s performance!

This data would ultimately be compiled into a concise summary and reported to provincial leaders!

Zhongjing Media was not experimenting with innovation within the company; this was innovation within the industry chain!

This would surely impress provincial leaders.

Working in concert with Zhongjing Media were those thirty media businesses and media personalities, whose enthusiasm was unprecedented. They started creating their own content, looking for novelty while adhering to the original framework.

This was something Bai Xiaosheng hadn’t anticipated.

”It seems Mayor Ji Mingyang’s highly flexible ’one strategy per enterprise’ approach is extremely attractive. They’re all putting in the effort, eager to make achievements and seek recognition from the mayor,” Bai Xiaosheng couldn’t help but want to laugh.

Now, he was quite relaxed.

Xinjing Technology headquarters.

Their CEO sat in his office, his eyes shining brightly as he listened to one report after another from his subordinates.

Telephone inquiries had increased several times over!

Website traffic had increased several times!

Walk-in consultations had increased several times!

A series of good news in one day left the CEO dumbfounded, his eyes nearly shining.

”This is amazing! My Xinjing Technology is on a roll!” He couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

”Boss, online pre-sales have exploded. If we keep up this pace, our inventory won’t be enough!”

The secretary was also excited, ”The factory is already working at full capacity, but it’s still not enough. Should we find a few smaller factories to do the subcontracting...”

”Absolutely not!”

The CEO of Xinjing Technology immediately interrupted, ”We can’t do that; it would ruin our brand. We’d rather earn less than take such risks!”

The secretary was startled and hurriedly nodded, saying meekly, ”It was just a suggestion, just a suggestion...”

”If you ever come up with such a suggestion again, I’ll tell you to get lost right away!” the CEO of Xinjing Technology snorted coldly.

In truth, he wasn’t unwilling; he dared not.

Mayor Ji Mingyang clearly told him that they must strictly control quality and produce the highest-quality products. They were being supported to become a nationally renowned enterprise, and the city would also provide even more robust support policies for them in the future.

At the same time, Secretary Zhang had privately warned him that any issues with the products would be seen as irresponsible towards Zhongjing and as undermining the city. In such an event, the company would be severely punished and might even be driven out of Zhongjing!

One option was a future full of promise, while the other was about killing the goose that lays the golden eggs, a path to self-destruction.

Of course, the CEO of Xinjing Technology chose the former!

Not just Xinjing Technology, on that day, two other enterprises were also being promoted in the same way. They too were overjoyed and also strict with quality control!

Within a single day, three highly sought-after enterprises were born in Zhongjing.

This news, verified by Zhang Meng from all quarters, was passed on to Mayor Ji Mingyang.

Laughing, he said, ”Good, good! Well done, Bai Xiaosheng. If we continue like this, in a few days when we report, just with these achievements, we won’t be inferior to Langbei City!”

”No, we will surely beat them by a notch!” Mayor Ji Mingyang’s eyes sparkled with confidence.
