Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 504: Chapter 504 Reward and Punishment Imposed Together, Combined Use of Kindness and Severity_1

With Ji Mingyang highlighting Bai Xiaosheng’s achievements, to everyone’s shock, Bai Xiaosheng was elected by unanimous vote, becoming the first President of the Zhongjing Media Industry Alliance!

Ji Mingyang was very gratified.

Some might think Bai Xiaosheng is a bit young, but he never saw it that way.

In history, how many great figures were there who took charge at a young age?

At Bai Xiaosheng’s age, placed in ancient times, becoming a marquis or a chancellor was quite common!

Most importantly, Bai Xiaosheng’s thinking and vision were no less than anyone present!

Ji Mingyang even reflected on what he was doing at that age...

And he found himself lacking!

With a silent sigh in his heart, Ji Mingyang looked around at the crowd and smiled, ”The Zhongjing Media Industry Alliance is officially established!”

”Today, I neither hang a plaque for you nor hold a grand meeting to announce it. If you want those, wait until I see your cooperative progress and your achievements. Then, not only will I hold a grand celebration for you, but I will also give you a significant reward! Every company sitting here will receive a unique support policy from the municipality, which is a tailor-made policy for each enterprise.”

”Furthermore, you will propose the contents of the policy yourselves—as long as it’s practical, compliant, and reasonable, I agree to all!”

Ji Mingyang’s words silenced the entire room.

All the business tycoons immediately had stars in their eyes, even their breathing became a bit hurried!

When the mayor promised policy support, everyone initially thought it was for the alliance. Then they felt it was a tailor-made policy for each enterprise! But they didn’t expect that they could even set the policy content themselves!

Though it had to be legal, regulated, and reasonable, the degree of freedom in this tailor-made policy was on a completely different level from what they had initially imagined!

Everyone suddenly became restless.

Compared to money, the benefits of a tailor-made support policy were simply immeasurable!

If done right, it could take an enterprise to a whole new level!

The sound of numerous people swallowing could be heard.

After weighing the options, they realized that to receive such policy support, all they needed to do was to fulfill the tasks given by the alliance, which was virtually effortless!

Even though there would be some loss of interests in the process, compared to the ultimate reward of the policy, such losses were just a drop in the ocean!

If possible, even at ten or twenty times the cost, they were willing!

The trip today was worth it!

Mr. Ji’s carrot was just too tempting, Bai Xiaosheng thought with a smile.

”However, let me speak frankly. Now that you all have joined this Media Alliance with the intention of accomplishing great things and contributing to Zhongjing’s development, you cannot be duplicitous or deliberately obstructive and indifferent. You must give it your all, go full throttle! And you cannot violate laws or regulations! Otherwise, not only will I retract the support policy, but I will also call for severe punishment from the relevant authorities,” Ji Mingyang said with a stern face to the crowd.

Only with both rewards and punishments is the motivation complete!

Bai Xiaosheng praised inwardly.

The assembled crowd, seeing Ji Mingyang’s stern expression, grew serious and nodded in agreement.

”Rest assured, Mr. Ji, we will definitely fully commit to the tasks assigned by the alliance!”

”That’s right, the bigger the cake, the more we get to share, and we all understand this principle!”

”Exactly, you have our word!”

...

The attendees declared their positions one after another.

This was no ordinary statement—these thirty individuals were all influential, where their word was as good as gold.

If they could say it, they would never be hypocritical.

Ji Mingyang smiled and gave a slight nod.

Then he turned to Bai Xiaosheng, ”Sheng, as the new ’Alliance Hierarch,’ won’t you say a few words?”

Ji Mingyang wanted to lighten the mood and teased him.

In fact, Bai Xiaosheng should be addressed as President.

Bai Xiaosheng also smiled. Without shirking the responsibility, he looked around at everyone and, seeing their gaze fall upon his face, said unhurriedly, ”Since the Mayor requests it, I’ll just say a few words. If there’s anything amiss, I welcome everyone’s guidance!”

”First of all, I thank all of you for your support. I will temporarily serve as the first President of the Zhongjing Media Industry Alliance. Regarding the alliance’s structure, I will distribute a form to everyone shortly, including positions such as Vice Presidents, Secretary-General, and Executive Directors, which will be selected on the spot by everyone. I shall not participate in any appointments!”

”Secondly, the alliance will hold a regular meeting every Monday to assign tasks and deal with business. Secretary Zhang will participate throughout to supervise. Outside of these meetings, I will not assign any tasks unrelated to the alliance, and everyone is welcome to oversee this!”

”Lastly, I want to say that one year from now, I will resign from the position of President!”

Bai Xiaosheng spoke with passion and forthrightness.

Everyone, including Ji Mingyang, couldn’t help but nod in approval.

This young man was truly gracious!

He had the demeanor fitting of a President!

Even those who were somewhat unconvinced at first were now persuaded.

However, Bai Xiaosheng’s announcement about stepping down in a year left Ji Mingyang somewhat disapproving, but given the occasion, he ultimately refrained from commenting.

Ji Mingyang didn’t know that in Bai Xiaosheng’s view, if he were still the General Manager of Zhongjing Media after one year, that would spell failure.

”In one year, I should be in a higher position,” Bai Xiaosheng thought to himself.

After President Bai Xiaosheng finished his speech, Ji Mingyang led the applause, and everyone clapped for him!

The applause was long-lasting and enthusiastic!

Afterward, the meeting continued, and Bai Xiaosheng distributed the pre-printed job tables to everyone.

The attendees voted on the spot, electing the Vice Presidents, Secretary-General, and Executive Directors!

Once the leadership was elected, Bai Xiaosheng brought out another document.

It was the short-term promotion plan!

The plan stunned everyone in attendance.

Twelve high-quality Zhongjing enterprises were treated as ”products” to be promoted in batches.

Online ads, media ads, outdoor ads, social ads, app ads...

Self-media channels, word-of-mouth channels, fan channels...

Everyone present quickly identified their own part in it.

Not a single person was overlooked.

It was truly a multi-level, three-dimensional, all-encompassing promotional campaign!

Everyone was amazed.

”This is just a draft; next, let’s discuss these points!” Bai Xiaosheng stated earnestly.

No matter how flawlessly he had drafted the plan, the people before him were the implementers!

They knew their own domains the best, and only after their adjustment would the plan truly take effect.

The meeting went on for the whole morning.

It did not conclude until the afternoon.

As the media tycoons left, each had bright eyes, lively spirits, and hastened steps. There seemed to be a sense of urgency among them, which surprised the city government staff who witnessed it.

After the meeting ended, in various circles within Zhongjing, it ignited a wave of fervent discussions!

Like the previous two times, the thirty tycoons kept their lips sealed, not revealing even a hint to the outside world, even to their closest confidants.

Something big was about to happen in Zhongjing!

People on the outside had an inkling that something unusual was afoot!

On the fourth day.

The first battle of the Zhongjing Media Industry Alliance officially began!
