Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 503: Chapter 503 Birth of the Media Alliance Hierarch_1

”This is truly a bold idea, treating our entire city as if it were a single enterprise, with ’products,’ ’R&D,’ ’promotion,’ and most importantly, with government guidance, regulation, and maintenance!” someone couldn’t help but say to the person next to them.

As expected of a media magnate, the analogy is indeed apt.

Bai Xiaosheng couldn’t help but admire.

”This innovation is bold and original! If it can really be implemented, the power of the group will be stronger, and the voice louder!”

”With the government in charge and Mayor Ji willing to get involved personally, I see a great chance for success!”

”I’m also optimistic! It’s a very beneficial move for us as well!”

...

More and more people couldn’t help but speak up, their faces lit with excitement.

Not for any other reason.

They trusted Ji Mingyang!

In these years, the achievements of Zhongjing City’s development were there for all to see!

Ji Mingyang’s decisiveness, competence, and swift action nearly won the approval of every Zhongjing citizen. If he had such determination and boldness for this matter, it was truly worth looking forward to!

”I’d like to thank everyone for their trust!” Ji Mingyang nodded slightly as a sign of gratitude.

In this matter, Mayor Ji’s personal charm played a significant role. Of course, the key was the small investment, low risk, and high benefit!

Bai Xiaosheng thought to himself.

To be fair, even a great opportunity like the special policy knocking on the door, guaranteed by a creditable bigwig, he would certainly not refuse.

”There’s another thing I want to say to you all,” Ji Mingyang pressed down with his hands to quiet the crowd.

”You all know that the province is selecting the top ten benchmark star enterprises, and our city has recommended Zhongjing Media.” Ji Mingyang pointed at Bai Xiaosheng, ”This is Zhongjing Media General Manager Bai Xiaosheng, I believe no one here is unfamiliar with him, who was it that said they wanted to offer their daughter to him when we came in, I think it’s feasible.”

The crowd burst into laughter.

The person who had the earlier conversation blushed, but didn’t feel too embarrassed and quickly returned to normal.

”The province’s selection of benchmark star enterprises has a detailed and complete set of recognition standards. Currently, our Zhongjing Media has advanced to the second stage. Among them, one crucial element is innovation and its driving force in the industry, its pull on municipal-level economics, and its demonstrative effect!”

Ji Mingyang said, ”Zhongjing Media needs everyone’s support for this honor.”

”How can we help them?” someone couldn’t help but ask.

Perhaps everyone should collectively promote Zhongjing Media?

Would the provincial leaders believe that?

Ji Mingyang didn’t hurry to answer the question, but smiled instead, ”The media in Zhongjing coming together, is like martial arts clans uniting in martial arts novels, forming a big alliance. Since it’s an alliance, how can there be no Alliance Hierarch? I think making Zhongjing Media the leader, the focal point of this formation, what do you think? This way, in our reports to the higher-ups, they will have enough, no, they will surpass the other enterprises by far!”

After Ji Mingyang’s words, there was a moment of silence.

Bai Xiaosheng calmly observed the crowd, noting a trace of reluctance in their expressions.

They all knew that Bai Xiaosheng was a person of influence!

Now, the mayor was strongly recommending him as the leader of the media front!

But why!

Each person seated there had been in the media circle for over ten years. Ten years ago, wasn’t Bai Xiaosheng just a naive and inexperienced young man?

What qualifications did he have!

”I think we should assist Zhongjing Media in other ways to achieve results. As for the leading figure of the media front, it would be better to... consider it more carefully and choose someone with enough experience, someone that everyone can agree on!” someone couldn’t resist whispering suggestively.

”Yes, although Mr. Bai is young and commendable, maybe... it would be better to choose someone who has contributed more for this matter.”

”Since no one has made much of an effort so far, I think we should choose someone with seniority and great influence, how about that?”

”Yes, I agree!”

”I also agree!”

”I agree!”

Bai Xiaosheng wanted to laugh.

It seemed that his position as ”Alliance Hierarch” was being overturned before he even assumed it, and this time, not even the mayor’s recommendation could see him through!

However, for the honor of being the provincial benchmark enterprise of Zhongjing Media, for the score of my mission!

I might not wish to take on this role of ”Alliance Hierarch,” but right now, I must obtain it!

With a determined look, Bai Xiaosheng was about to make his argument and fight for this nominal position.

Before he could speak, Ji Mingyang beat him to it.

Still unruffled and composed.

”You are saying that Bai Xiaosheng is too young, lacks experience, and has only enjoyed the fruits without contributing, so he should not lead the pack, am I right?” Ji Mingyang said with an undisturbed smile, addressing everyone.

The big shots in attendance fell silent.

Arguing with the mayor was both laborious and thankless!

Their smiles silently conveyed their agreement—

You’re absolutely right, that’s what we mean!

Ji Mingyang smiled.

”Actually, I didn’t want to say this, but it seems I have to,” Ji Mingyang said with a smile.

The people looked at each other with suspicion.

What did the mayor want to say?

Could it be that he was going to force them to accept?

If that was the case, they would still have to agree.

But then again, a forcibly twisted melon is not sweet; if Bai Xiaosheng was forcefully put in place, could he really hold onto his position?

”Who do you think came up with this entire concept? Was it me?” Ji Mingyang scanned the crowd, his smile tinged with a hint of regret, ”If it were my idea, I would have been proud. If it were my idea, we would have implemented this method long ago and not waited until now!”

”Most of the ideas, even the draft plan, were conceived by him—Bai Xiaosheng!”

”He’s the one who provided it to me and opened my eyes!”

”It’s also thanks to him that the nearly finalized plan was handed to me, allowing me to implement it so swiftly!”

”You say we need someone who has contributed significantly; then I ask you, who has made a greater contribution than Bai Xiaosheng? Speak up, and I will let them take this completely powerless and thankless position of leadership!”

As Ji Mingyang finished speaking, his voice became slightly stern.

These words sent a shock through the room, with everyone incredulously staring at Bai Xiaosheng.

That incredibly young face was composed and calm from beginning to end, without a hint of disturbance.

This groundbreaking plan was actually his creation!

How... how is that possible!

At such a young age, to accomplish such a feat. Was he still human, or just a monster!

The crowd was dumbfounded and no longer voiced any objections!

”I agree with Bai Xiaosheng’s election!” Suddenly, someone spoke up.

”I agree as well!”

”I, too, agree!”

”And me!”

Almost simultaneously, the office erupted.

It was a unanimous decision.

The first chairman of Zhongjing Media Industry Alliance had been born!

A pleased smile appeared on Bai Xiaosheng’s face.
