Hogwarts: Even Voldemort Can't Stop Me From Studying

Chapter 421: Chapter 114: Reversing Time 2

”But if you really can’t save anyone, don’t be discouraged—we always have things we can’t accomplish.”

”And one more thing, remember—after the time reversal, you can’t change anything that’s already happened. Whatever you do can only create the reality you’ve already noticed before reversing time.”

Vid held the key tightly and nodded forcefully.

Dumbledore waved his magic wand, clearing away the bloodstains and dust on Vid’s clothes that he hadn’t noticed, then smiled and said, ”Good luck, Vid.”

”I will be back soon, sir.”

Vid mounted the broom again, shooting into the sky.

The entire island’s defense system had completely collapsed after the dual destruction by Dumbledore and the Obscurus, which was why Vid could now fly freely.

Vid flew in the sky, only to see that beautiful white building had been completely turned into ruins, with a helicopter plummeting to the ground, broken in half, the fuselage engulfed in blazing flames.

The island’s already fragile ecosystem must also have been severely damaged, uncertain whether it could recover.

The dungeon’s location was relatively remote, still not affected for now...

Vid thought about this, noticing the cliffs extending obliquely from the coastline, with a section of rocks below, concealed and quiet, without surveillance cameras installed.

He pressed down the flying broomstick, flying straight over and landing on a relatively flat rock.

The gray-black stones were washed by the seawater, damp and smooth, with slippery moss growing on them, surrounded by a strong smell of the sea.

Vid carefully steadied himself, checked the time, then put away his broom and took out the Time Turner, turning it back one round.

He didn’t need to reverse too much time, for earlier on, he and Dumbledore were still on the road to find the island, at which point the island’s defensive powers were at their strongest, with a sporadic magnetic field activation, extremely unfriendly to wizards like him.

The familiar kaleidoscope scene swiftly passed, Vid’s vision blurred—the cliff remained the cliff, the stones still smooth, but the surrounding light had changed somewhat.

Most importantly, there was suddenly a person standing in front of Vid!

It was a soldier hiding in this dangerous place, secretly smoking.

Under the effect of some white drugs, he was in a light and floaty state, lying on the stone in a daze, laughing foolishly at the sky.

Even in such a state, he could still notice when there was suddenly another person beside him.

The soldier stared in shock at Vid, then seemingly thinking Vid was his hallucination, he smiled foolishly:

”Hahaha... Why didn’t it turn into a beauty? Oh well, this works too...”

The soldier staggered to stand up, took two steps, suddenly slipped, and fell off the rock.

The dark sea water made a swallowing ”thunk” sound.

Vid glanced down, holding onto the key.

Suddenly, it was as if a hook tugged sharply behind his navel, pulling his entire body upward, confusing his sense of direction, only feeling he was flying forward—

”Thud,” Vid landed on the ground. He propped himself up with his hand and quickly stood up.

”Swoosh—”

Heavy rain poured down, soaking him completely.

A few Tree-Protector Lofas sheltering from the rain with fern leaves were startled by Vid’s sudden appearance, quickly scurrying higher into the trees, then cautiously poking their heads out to observe him.

Thunder rolled across the sky, lightning abruptly illuminating the surroundings, then fading quickly.

Vid wiped the water off his face, cast a spell to shield himself from the rain, stood up, and found himself near the maze that Dumbledore had sent him to.

This place was now akin to a magical amusement park; sometimes, through the bushes, one could hear the screams and laughter of students inside.

Vid suddenly realized, since his magical level was now much higher than ordinary students, he hadn’t ventured into the maze for a long time.

However, today, the maze was very quiet, while the Quidditch Pitch was lively.

Vid suddenly realized that the match between Gryffindor and Slytherin hadn’t ended yet—probably due to the weather, both Seekers struggling to find the Golden Snitch, playing continuously from morning until now.

He only had twenty minutes.

Vid wasted no time, mounted his broom, flew directly into the hospital wing through the window, startling Madam Pomfrey, who was treating a student with a cold.

”Vid Gray? You should come in through the door...”

Madam Pomfrey almost spilled magic potion on the student’s head, scolding him angrily, but stopped abruptly when seeing Vid’s expression.

Madam Pomfrey pulled up the curtain of the infirmary bed, quickly walked towards Vid, and asked in a low voice, ”What happened, child?”

”Madam Pomfrey, if someone’s heart and kidney were cut out, while simultaneously suffering massive blood loss, but the organs were returned within a short time—how can you save them?”

Vid said, ”I need a magic potion that can treat such injuries.”

Hearing such a bizarre question, Madam Pomfrey didn’t get angry but looked into Vid’s eyes carefully again, asking, ”Where’s the patient?”

”In the future,” Vid said. ”What I’m describing hasn’t happened yet.”

”You’re not joking with me, are you, child?” Madam Pomfrey knitted her brows and asked, ”Are you serious?”

”I’m very serious.” Vid took out the Golden Key given by Dumbledore and said, ”I’ve come on Dumbledore’s mission.”

Seeing the key, Madam Pomfrey’s face changed again.

”Such terrible injuries can’t be solved with a few bottles of potion—you need me!”

She decisively untied her apron and tossed it aside with a wave of her wand, causing the shelves of medicines, various silver tools, and bottles and jars to all fly up, clattering onto a rack, finally transforming into a small portable box.

The student in the bed had just taken a potion, with smoke rising from their head.

She curiously opened the bed curtain slightly to watch the conversation between the two outside.

”By the way, Severus has a few treasured Blood Replenishing Potions brewed with basilisk blood, which he’s been reluctant to use; it’s time to bring them out now.”

Madam Pomfrey spoke, waving her wand again, and something shiny flew out through the window.

”Alright, I’ve sent him a message; once Severus brings the potion, we’ll set off.”

Madam Pomfrey said cheerfully.

Vid was almost speechless with amazement at her decisive action.

”Did Dumbledore give any other instructions?” Madam Pomfrey asked again.

Vid shook his head and said, ”No.”

”When will we depart?”

”Approximately thirteen minutes.”

”What situation did you encounter?”

Vid hesitated for a moment, remembering Dumbledore didn’t say this needed to be kept secret. Most importantly, with so many children harmed, it would surely be impossible to hide.

So he succinctly told her what he’d discovered earlier.

Although Vid didn’t detail the entire gruesome scene he witnessed, just the term ”organ trafficking” was enough for Madam Pomfrey to conjure up vivid associations.

”Evil, vile scum! How dare they... How dare they treat kids like this...”

Madam Pomfrey angrily turned pale, her nostrils flaring, and her eyes seemingly ready to emit fire, startling Snape who had arrived through the rain.

He was about to refuse initially but hesitated after seeing her expression and cautiously said:

”Bobbi, I don’t have many bottles of the potion myself; I’ll give you one... How about two? Honestly, using such precious potion on these troublesome little brats isn’t necessary; it’s too wasteful...”

Professor Snape’s voice grew increasingly low, then he saw Vid beside him, also stunned.

”What happened?” he asked.
