Emperor’s Domination

“It’s true, the fortress hanging over us can come down at any second.” Tribulation Daoist sighed.

“Senior, you may not know of another budding disaster.” Godfiend Monarch stared at Heaven Pit.

“Elaborate.” Tribulation said.

“In the last one hundred thousand years, I have observed the world and sensed death within Heaven Pit. This death will engulf us one day, and who will save Survivor Realm? You or me?” Godfiend said.

“Even if what you speak of is true, it will not happen today or any time soon. Neither of us can read the future.” Tribulation shook his head.

“Senior, it is inevitable. Do you have an explanation for the fortress’ movement and why they have been kidnapping our people at a quicker pace? It’s all pointing at something ominous that will happen soon.” Godfiend said.

“I do agree with your view about the signs.” Tribulation sighed.

“It has something to do with Heavenfall Path and Heaven Pit. Alas, we are powerless, so we need an immortal right now.” Godfiend said: “To whom do I entrust this task? You, senior, or the juniors?”

The emperors had a dejected expression, as they most likely had no chance of becoming immortal. After all, only one inhabitant of their world had done so. Godfiend Monarch was still the best candidate.

“I don’t have the chance, my dao stops here. You are the best candidate.” Tribulation said. Although he was far older, he knew the man before him was the superior cultivator.

He was never jealous and actually hoped for Godfiend’s success.

“Senior, I thank you for your protection all this time. If our realm needs an immortal, who else can it be but me?” Godfiend said: “I must do what I should and protect everyone.”

“Monarch, it’s not that I do not wish for your ascension. In fact, I want this more than anyone else, but the timing is not now. We should wait until the fortuitous date for a higher chance at success.” Tribulation said.

“I understand your concern.” Godfiend said: “That’s why I have prepared the item that you know too well.”

Having said that, he took out something with an immortal light. Its presence engulfed the monastery.

This was an immortal pelvis bone with laws coiling around it. Each law was made of thousands and thousands of stars. An immortal couldn’t understand a single one.

Its golden radiance was unique, as if an immortal had spent countless years to condense dao light into this bone.

Within the bone were faint lightning bolts - a testament to the power within. It was strong enough to seal and absorb countless tribulations.

It suppressed everyone in the audience and could destroy this world in the blink of an eye.

“Monarch, please put it away.” Tribulation warned.

Godfiend glanced at the fortress and agreed.

“Senior, that’s why I need your support. I hope you will assist during my tribulation.” He said: “I know that the timing is not the best, but this bone will be enough.”

“Monarch, the largest threat comes from this bone. It belonged to our sect once and our progenitor nearly destroyed our realm because of it. He sacrificed himself and saved everyone, I’m not sure if you can do the same.” Tribulation said.

“I am different from Myriad Tribulations Immortal in that I am only trying to become a regular immortal, he tried to become a primordial immortal without a suitable legacy. Plus, there is danger in all of our options.” Godfiend said.

“I know more about the disaster back then. It stemmed from the bone more so than the tribulation. The fortress and Heaven Pit are future concerns, this ascension will leave nothing behind on this date.” Tribulation said: “Thus, please reconsider, we can’t become sinners of our world. We will help your ascension with another plan.”
