Emperor’s Domination

Finding an intact area in Ruin was an impossible task, similar to Stygian.

The process for Stygian’s downfall was lengthy but inevitable due to greed. Ruin, on the other hand, fell in several years - a blink for cultivators.

Back then, the inhabitants had no idea what was happening. A terrible power descended, obliterating everything.

Emperors and ancient ancestors couldn’t escape. Perhaps the strongest ones survived for a split second longer. Overlords who were not participants didn’t survive either. The detonation was due to the collision of tribulations and several celestial immortals.

Ruin collapsed so easily under the shockwaves, but there was another underlying reason. The celestial immortals in charge of the plan had drained their world’s powers and resources long ago, leaving it feeble.

Unlike the victims, those from other worlds found out the reason in time - a mysterious immortal wanted to ambush the high heaven. However, they didn’t know what was used to bait the high heaven.

Surviving immortals knew of the high heaven’s sweep, which destroyed three thousand worlds so that new ones could rise from the ashes.

However, an avatar descended on just Ruin and was met with an incredible trap. There were six or seven celestial immortals and more than a hundred weaker immortals.

Heaven Essence and Immortal Hunt revealed everything they had. The world realized Heaven Essence was the strongest alliance then, not Devouring.

Unfortunately, they still underestimated the high heaven. The group was wiped out including the celestial immortals.

Dusk, the most famous among them, fell in this battle. Heaven’s Demise and Heaven’s Slayer, rumored to have died long ago, finally met their end during this battle.

Zhao Dachui, who had reached the shore but didn’t obtain the paramita body, also fell.

The only survivors were rumored to be Heavenfall and the mysterious leader who had planned all of this.

Those outside of Ruin shuddered in fear during the battle, afraid of the apocalypse. For some reason, the destruction was contained in Ruin alone.

This certainly confused them because the high heaven’s avatar had descended. Why didn’t it destroy everything?

Immortals who lived during this period lost hope afterward. It appeared the celestial realm still stood no chance against the high heaven.

While in Ruin, one could see the masterpieces left behind by the avatar. One slash left behind an indelible cut. Celestial immortals didn’t dare to get close.

“Rumble!” Li Qiye’s vision was clouded by torrential bolts and flames. The uncertainties and dangers prevented immortals from visiting Ruin.

Most importantly, tribulations could also descend at any second and initiate a personal one. Despite the remnant chaos, one could still see the slash that had sliced through all of Ruin.

Some believed that even after the next sweep, this scar would still be around.
