Emperor’s Domination

All along, Godstallion thought he was one with his sword, Heavenly Dwarf. Now, with Li Qiye’s interference, he found himself melting into it.

This feeling only lasted for a split second; no one else had any idea. He wanted to scream but no sound came out.

He couldn’t feel Li Qiye’s power since the two weren’t on the same level. However, Li Qiye didn’t crush him like a speck of dust and raised the sword instead.

He smashed it against a star and didn’t stop, moving onto the next repeatedly. Godstallion became covered in blood; his divine armor shattered. Blood and flesh mixed while he screamed in agony. This pain traveled to the soul and true fate.

Spectators became slack-jawed and speechless as they watched the beating. This was still considered one move.

They wondered if they could have stopped it themselves. In fact, Li Qiye had already shown mercy by not exerting more direct force.

“Anyone else?” Li Qiye still looked like a new cultivator but his casual glance made knees tremble.

Even primal ancestors and heaven-slayers’ legs went weak.

“Sir, we are no match for you. Time Stopper is yours.” Dugu Yuan said with admiration.

“Who says I want Time Stopper?” Li Qiye smiled.

He pinched it, causing the tiny parts to move and pull the threads of time to the center. Once enough was gathered, time stopped again.

“Seize it if you want.” Li Qiye smiled and tossed it to Light God before disappearing.

Everyone stood there in a daze after he threw it away like a piece of trash.

“An immortal?” Someone whispered.

The word “confusion” was written on everyone’s forehead.

“Has to be, only an immortal would discard this treasure like nothing.” An emperor said.

“Makes sense to me, he crushed Godstallion so easily too.” They shuddered after recalling the fight.

If they had stepped onto the stage, they would have been obliterated even more.

Once they calmed down, all eyes were on Light God. The “immortal” never explicitly stated that he was giving it to Light God.

Of course, only a few were qualified to join this competition.

“I give up.” Light God said: “As the senior said, let the capable be Time Stopper’s owner. I will be the referee instead.”

This also surprised everyone. Others exchanged glances and knew Light God’s noble reputation.

“I have no issue with this, then let’s compete for Time Stopper.” Grand Preceptor agreed.

“That’s fine, the winner gets it.” Visceraless warmed up.

“Very well.” Jiu Ning nodded.

“Since we are in agreement, who will start first?” Light God asked.

They contemplated in silence. As the strongest primal ancestors and heaven-slayers, their power was rather even.

The strongest was Visceraless but he only had one punch.

“If it’s a fair duel, I will not use the gauntlet.” Alas, he declared proudly.

The other competitors heaved a sigh of relief since the punch was no longer a factor. Otherwise, any winner would have to deal with it eventually.

“If that’s the case, I’ll go first.” Dugu Yuan stepped forward: “Who shall I receive pointers from?”

He was a formidable foe due to his peerless talent, having refused Dingtian’s tutelage in the past.
