Genshin Impact: Spoiling the Future

If the Akademiya could truly force Tighnari to submit through sheer force, they wouldn’t need all these schemes or to send a sage in person.

After the sage in the story departed, Kaveh in reality finally reacted.

Kaveh: ”They’re accomplices of the Grand Sage too!”

As the shining light of Haravatat, this architecture bro Kaveh wasn’t very skilled at deciphering these ”jianghu” matters.

But he was smart, so even though he reacted slowly, from a god’s-eye view he understood everything.

Even Alhaitham couldn’t help saying: ”The day Kavaja was arrested, weren’t you there?”

Kaveh scratched his head. ”I was, but I was so happy my eyes were full of tears—how could I notice any Kavaja?”

Alhaitham fell silent. This guy had zero sensitivity to political upheaval of this magnitude—what was to be done?

Acting as Grand Sage while also keeping an eye on this fellow was truly troublesome.

One Kaveh already left Alhaitham helpless, but there were even greater masters!

Collei blinked: ”Eh? Sage Kavaja is an accomplice of the Grand Sage? How do you know? It’s not written in the book.”

Collei began to wonder if she was illiterate and had misread some characters.

Of course she hadn’t—it was just that the people in the book spoke with hidden meanings. Collei couldn’t read between the lines or see the conspiracy behind them.

As for the day Kavaja was arrested, everyone should still remember: Collei, just like Kaveh, had been rubbing snot and tears all over Tighnari.

”You don’t need to understand,” Alhaitham said softly.

Yes—Collei didn’t need to understand these things. They would protect her.

Tighnari nodded, his tone gentle: ”Alhaitham is right. Collei, just keep reading the book. You don’t have to understand what’s behind it.”

They had Collei read the prophecy book to make her happy, not to burden her with worries.

Collei nodded in half-understanding. She only knew that her master understood more than she did, so she would simply listen to him.

Continuing to read, the Traveler in the book asked Tighnari how to obtain an audience with the Dendro Archon.

[Tighnari: ”Sorry, I don’t know the method for an audience.”]

It seemed Tighnari was ultimately ”inferior” to Thoma—he had no way to introduce the Traveler to the little auspicious grass king.

So perhaps it was better not to ask Tighnari about obtaining an audience; why not ask Thoma instead?

In any case, the only thing Tighnari could do was give the Traveler a letter of recommendation so she could ask others from Amurta.

One had to admit Tighnari was clever—he knew getting involved in the Traveler’s god-meeting mission brought nothing good.

Look at the previous three nations: in Mondstadt and Liyue the gods personally introduced themselves—one got slapped, the other ”died.”

In Inazuma it was Thoma, and shortly after making the decision he was arrested on the spot.

Clearly, guiding the Traveler to meet a god carried karmic consequences—those without strong fate couldn’t withstand it.

Still, Tighnari provided one new piece of information: the ”Akasha Terminal.”

This device could also be called the ”Akasha Terminal”—its meaning was the memory and mysteries of the universe, all contained within.

After obtaining the desired information, the Traveler set off for Sumeru City, but first she had to properly say goodbye to Collei.

Collei’s condition had improved, and she even thoughtfully copied a ”Pita Pocket Recipe” for the Traveler, feeling a little shy because her handwriting wasn’t very nice.

One couldn’t help mentioning the Doctor again: the reason Collei’s handwriting was poor was that as a child she had been abducted by the Doctor for human experiments.

Though she could now read, frequent hand tremors from the dual torment of Eleazar and abyssal residue made practicing calligraphy impossible.

Even so, because the Traveler was interested in pita pockets, she wrote out a recipe for her.

One could easily imagine the barely literate Collei frequently asking Tighnari how to write certain characters.

Tighnari had probably offered to write it for her, but Collei refused—she wanted to personally give the Traveler a modest ”gift.”

The real-world Lumine frowned deeply as she read, remembering the ”Doctor” she had encountered back then.

At that time she didn’t know him well and only wanted to hit ”the Doctor” because the way he looked at Lucian felt very wrong.

Now it was different—she genuinely wanted to hit ”the Doctor” from the bottom of her heart.

[Collei: ”Then finally—Apprentice Forest Ranger Collei wishes the two of you a smooth journey.”]

[”You are welcome to visit Gandharva Ville again. We forest rangers will do our utmost to provide you with assistance.”]

’Outrider Amber wishes the two of you a smooth journey.’

Collei’s words truly resembled what Amber would say—one could only say that a white moonlight’s influence on a person is profound.

In Collei’s heart, Amber was far too wonderful—she was like a flame that illuminated Collei’s life.

So Collei was also striving to become that kind of person; she too wanted to warm others like Amber.

Before the Traveler left, Collei had one small request: please do not tell Amber about her situation.

Collei hadn’t told Amber that her condition had worsened, because she didn’t want Amber to worry about her.

Good news: the Traveler indeed did not tell Amber.

Bad news: Lucian told the entire world.

Amber pretending not to worry would be false, but fortunately Lucian had told her in advance there was no need to worry—this was the future; the current Collei’s condition had not yet worsened.

And soon he would handle Eleazar together with everyone, so there would be no more need to worry about it.

Amber believed in Lucian, because Lucian had already ”helped” Eula; she believed Lucian would definitely help Collei too.

In the story, the Traveler left Gandharva Ville for Sumeru City and was stopped right at the city gate.

It wasn’t to prevent entry—on the contrary, they were freely distributing ”Akasha Terminals” to the Traveler; the community was sending warmth.

[Pana: ”As long as you wear and activate the ’Akasha Terminal,’ everyone can connect to the Akasha and obtain from it the knowledge they need.”]

Sumeru people: Sacred Akasha connects us! F2A!

[”You two are very lucky. In the past, the Akademiya only issued ’Akasha Terminals’ to Sumeru citizens and foreigners staying long-term in Sumeru. Only recently was it decided to distribute them to all travelers.”]

”Very lucky”—one could only say the Traveler’s ”eighty-one ordeals” truly had value; here she perfectly ran into another one.

[”Simply hold it in your hand and silently recite ’May I be granted to hear the voice of divine wisdom’ to activate it.”]

Traveler silently recited: Xiao Ai classmate.

Akasha Terminal, activate!

A transparent frame appeared before the Traveler’s eyes—this frame could display information about the person in front of her. One could only say this frame was truly cool!

Originally the frame displayed Teyvat script, but Lucian changed it to Earth Chinese, writing ”Combat Power 5.”

The people of Teyvat couldn’t understand it, which excited Faruzan—she couldn’t help letting out a light hum.

”Hmph, I didn’t expect the prognosticator to understand some linguistics too. What ancient script is this? I’ve never even seen it.”

Character Voice · Faruzan: About Chinese

”Interesting language! But… that guy Lucian is really bad… what kind of nonsense has he written!”
