I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1790: 24.51 Sixth Violet Star - Let them in

Human City. Marketplace.

Mo Minkong is now holding his two cubs hands while each of their hands were holding some snacks they had bought on the way. Hei Anjing was holding a huge cotton candy while Ye Xiajie was holding a stick of fried potato chips. Along the way they truly look like father and sons going for a simple market visit.

”Papa, I want to eat ice cream!” The God of Destruction said.

Mo Minkong said, ”Jing’er, you can’t eat too much. If you can’t eat Daddy’s dinner later it would be papa who will be killed by your daddy.”

”Old man, I want coffee. Black one,” said the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.

Mo Minkong said, ”You can’t drink black coffee. You’re still young! How about dark chocolate instead?”

”That will do. Jing’er let’s share half,” Ye Xiajie said with a doting smile on his face.

Hei Anjing kissed his brother’s cheeks and said, ”Gege is the best! Papa is stingy! Don’t want to buy me some ice cream!”

”Okay. I will buy you some. Let’s look for a place to sit,” said Mo Minkong.

The group of three looked for some cafe where they can rest and eat at the same time. The cafe was simply made with nature as a motif. A huge tree was renovated to gain floors and a house was created on it. Even the stairs were made of wood. From the counter to table to seats, everything is from nature. The owner of this place is a demihuman. It was an elf. One of the demihuman races that signed an allied contract with the human race. Unfortunately, the beastman race isn’t among these demihumans.

Demihumans are accepted by the human race. Not only did they look good, they were also strong. Among the demihumans, the Elven race is the closest to nature.

Hei Anjing noticed this cafe from a distance and recalled that the destined heroine was someone from the elven race. It is about a half elf girl who fell in love at first sight with Long Juedi. Elves are sensitive to smell and aura because their senses are enhanced.

”Papa, I am tired. I want to go there. Something smells nice coming that way~” said Hei Anjing as he pulled his father in that direction.

Seeing his wife excited, Ye Xiajie also chose to pull their father to the direction his Jing’er wanted to go. When they arrived at the cafe, it was rare that such a beautiful place had a sign hanging close to its door. Mo Minkong can feel that his youngest cub was about to cry.

He panicked, ”J-Jing’er... How about we find another place?”𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

Seeing tears pooling in the eyes of the youngest, Mo Minkong tried to ask his eldest to help him coax Hei Anjing. It was just that he had forgotten how much his eldest son spoils the youngest. The eldest suddenly broke free from his han and started knocking at the door.

Knock. Knock.

”I can feel people inside. Can you open the store? My brother wanted to stay inside!” Ye Xiajie said.

—

A few hours before Mo Minkong, Hei Anjing and Y Xiajie arrived at the cafe. Inside the cafe is someone who looks familiar, Xie Yun, the master of the Killer Pavilion. He is seated at one of the tables having some tea. On the other side of the table was a man with long golden hair but his eyes were unexpectedly gray signifying that his eyes were blind. But an elf never uses their eyes to see, but uses senses to see through other’s aura and presences.

This elf man, unlike his elegant face, spoke with harsh and rude words, ”Demonic Beast, are you still not dead? You are too persistent.”

”Hahaha~ you poisoned your tongue elf, you haven’t changed at all. Only your face is elegant,” retorted Xie Yun.

Snorts~

”Who cares~ the elf race is almost extinct. Should I even care about my image? Once the world tree is dead, I will be gone as well. If not for Heri, I will not last until now. I heard you are going to the Ancient Forest, is that the way you came to me?” The grumpy elf said.

Xie Yun said with a serious expression, ”Vega, if you want Heri to wake up you need his brother’s help. If you are worried about the world tree I can send people to protect it. I can also send your daughter to somewhere safe.”

”It is not the world tree I care about. My daughter is also living here fine. Heri... He is afraid to see his brother. After all, he ended up leaving him in the ancient forest to come with me. It might be the guilt in his heart that keeps him from waking up. He blames himself. Especially, when he foresaw the death of his nephews and how devastated his brother is after that event,” the elf name Vega said.

His expression looked so guilty and in pain. If he didn’t bring his wife, Heri, out or how the humans offend the beastmen race, they wouldn’t be affected like this. His wife was a rare beastman that lived outside the ancient forest. Humans didn’t hate the beastmen in the past. They are just another neutral race that isn’t involved with the war of humans and beasts.

But things had changed after that one big mistake the humans had done against the cubs and eggs of the Beastmen. This is a race whose number is not as large as the human and beast races. They can be considered a mix of both. If the beast race is well known for their physical strength and the human race for their intelligence then the beastmen race possessed both.

For this reason their numbers are not as many as the other races and even the number of their eggs and cubs are limited. It can be said that they can only have two chances of giving birth. Once they have given birth twice, there will no longer be any more chances to do so. That’s why this race is overprotective towards their cubs and eggs.

”What those humans in the ancient forest did was something like stabbing at the reverse scale of all beastmen. They killed lots of their children and eggs. For this reason alone, the Beastmen race going to war against humans is only right. This is because the humans had done something they shouldn’t have.”

”But the beastmen were also in the wrong. They shouldn’t have killed the innocent even in anger. Those who died at that time caused the humans to bear some hatred towards the beastman race. Heri was affected by it and I can barely open this store because of the humans who hate the beastmen, attacking us.” Vega said.

Xie Yun said, ”I plan to visit the beastmen village in the ancient forest. Do you want to go with me now?”

”...I...” Vega still hesitated when suddenly they heard a knock coming from the door of the cafe.

Knock. Knock.

”I can feel people inside. Can you open the store? My brother wanted to stay inside!”

The owner of the voice said this seems to be very young. But Vega and Xie Yun didn’t lower their guards. This is especially true for the Elf, Vega. He can feel a powerful presence beyond the door accompanying two presences similar to his wife. He knew that the cubs might be from the beastman race. However, the taller one doesn’t seem to be human or beastman. But a beast powerful enough to have a human form.

The Killer Pavilion’s Master, Xie Yun, noticed the changes in his friend’s expression. From disbelief to vigilance, it can even be said that he might be quite afraid as well.

”What’s wrong? Is there a problem with those people outside?” He asked.

Vega, the elf exclaims, ”Why the hell there is a beast king in the human city?!”

”Beast King? Are you sure?!” Xie Yun asked as he also tried to check on the aura beyond the door.

As expected, the two were cubs with the aura of a beastman. As for the big one, it was an overbearing aura that made him who was only peering to puke blood. Mo Minkong didn’t intentionally attack the Killer Pavilion’s Master, Xie Yun. It is just that their level of strength is too big that the weaker one suffers from backlash when he tries to see through something beyond his level.

Cough.

”Fuck! It’s real! But how come I don’t recognize this one? Also, he is more powerful than all the Beast King I’ve met before. Yes, only a bit weaker than the one living with the Long Clan,” said Xie Yun while the last sentence was whispered by him.

The Elf named Vega decided to get his emergency flare. Once this flare is lifted all forces the human race have within the vicinity will all gather.

”I should call for some reinforcement.”

Just as he was about to grab his flare and find a window to light it up, a weak voice coming from the stairs was heard.

”Husband, no! Cough. Cough. They are not... Not enemies. Let them in,” said the weak man with pale complexion and slightly purple lips.

Normally, one wouldn’t believe such words. But Vega’s wife, Heri, is a shaman that can see the future. This is something Vega and Xie Yun know. Even though Heri had only said a few words, the two without question accepted his words as truth.

Xie Yun asked, ”If they are not enemies, who are they?”

”Family... My side,” said the weak beastman, Heri. ”Let them in.”
